Behövs en litterär kanon? : Jämförande studie baserad på sju gymnasielärares syn på kanons plats i svenskundervisningen
English title: Is a literary canon necessary? A comparative study based on seven senior high school teachers´ different approaches towards the place of canon in the education of Swedish. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how seven senior high school teachers relate to a literary canon in Swedish while teaching literature in senior high school, identifying similarities and differences among the teachers? view and opinions about an outspoken formal literary canon and a silent, informal canon.The earlier research opens the door slightly to the American debate and gives insight about the complexity of the concept of canon. The study continues with exploring possible relations to postcolonial theory and didactics. The study reveals that the majority of the concerns against canon are that too much centrally governed education may decrease the motivation and commitment of the teacher. In addition, the dominant canon passivizes a certain variety of literature, thus various points of views. On the other hand, views on the equalizing effect of canon on the level of education and its benefits in increased knowledge of the history of the literature are salient. .

Skolsituationen på fem särskilda ungdomshem : En studie utifrån intervjuer med pedagoger
The purpose of this study is to examine the situation of the school for boys 15-21 years of age lacking compulsory school attendance and is being located at five residential care units from the pedagogues? point of view. The study was conducted by interviewing four pedagogical leaders and two teachers. The results demonstrate that the boys can choose the subjects they study as well as the amount of time they spend on studying each week. The teachers include non-learning activities during their lessons.

This study investigates whether teachers working with children ages 6 ? 9 are including an LGBTQ perspective in their teaching methods. The purpose is to critically examine sexuality and gender as part of the teaching methods in Swedish schools; whether teachers are working with LGBTQ questions in their classes, and if so, how. The following research questions are answered: Are the teachers incorporating an LGBTQ perspective in their classes, and if so, in what sense?Are LGBTQ questions relevant and of interest in the education?Do teachers feel like they have gained the right tools in their pedagogical education and/or in their workplace to work with LGBTQ questions in their class room? And if so, in what way? The method used is qualitative research in the form of interviews and observations.

This article elucidates the professional dialogue between student teacher and supervisor and it´s conditions as a supervising method in professional academic education. The aim of the study is to discuss how students articulate the conditions of the professional dialogue and the positioning of themselves and supervisors are made. The student taped discussions were analysed. Inspired by positioning theory we analysed the students discussions in order to interpret and elevate patterns showing the conditions concerning the professional dialogues for the students teacher education. The main findings are the students positioning themselves as listener and the supervisor is positioned as communicator of rights, obligations and oughtness.

Jag gör den här undersökningen med fokus på samtidskonst som jag upplever är ettsvårgripbart fenomen. Så vad är samtidskonst och går den att definiera? Generellt ärsamtidskonst konst skapad efter 1945 och består samtidigt av ?historiska? och ?banbrytande?konstyttringar. Den uttrycker sig i nya medier som installation, video och fotografi och utgörett fält som är i ständig förändring. I huvudsak tematiserar samtidskonsten vardagslivet ochindividens livsbetingelser samtidigt som den är upptagen med att undersöka fältetsmöjligheter och upplåter ett rum för reflektion.
Museipedagogik på Evolutionsmuseet : ur ett queerperspektiv
Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur museipedagoger på Evolutionsmuseet i Uppsala könar utställningar i samband med visningar för barn. Jag har även undersökt på vilket sätt de könar dinosaurierna och djuren. Detta har dokumenterats med hjälp av anteckningar och ljudinspelningar, som sedan har bearbetats och gått igenom. De metoder som använts har varit observationer med utgångspunkt inom queerteori och sociokulturellt perspektiv. Observationerna visade att museipedagogerna hade goda kunskaper om genus och könade inte föremålen på utställningen någon gång.

The aim of this study is to analyze the justification of a financial incentive that rewards students who rapidly finish their studies within the language education ?Swedish for immigrants? (sfi). Thereby, we want to see what assumptions are made about the students, and relate this to experiences of the education at a local level. We applied a text analysis on a government bill about the incentive, which showed that the deficiencies in the education are said to be caused by the students? lack of effort.
