Regionen kring Öresund befinner sig i ett expansivt skede, vilket bidrar till att trycket på bl.a. småhus i området har ökat och Trelleborgs kommun är intresserad av att ge Skegrie en större utbredning. Skegrie är en av de tre främsta utvecklingsorterna i kommunen. Den är belägen längs Skegrie byaväg, invid E6 mellan Malmö och Trelleborg. Det bor ca 560 människor i byn.

Who runs the development? A comparative study of the construction of residential buildings in Nacka and Södertälje.The aim of this study is to identify actors involved in the initiation and implementation of residential house construction in two Swedish municipalities. This means who is taking initiative for new residential buildings, who affects the planning process, who finances these new buildings and who builds them. By exploring empiric material from the municipalities of Nacka and Södertälje, the above questions will be answered and by referring to pluralism, growth machine theory and regime theory a link to general theories of political science is made. The results found show that the analysed municipalities have quite different possibilities for acting and that these backgrounds are also important for which actors will take initiative for new residential buildings and which actors will be allowed to state their opinion during the planning process.

The edge or the fringe of the city is often the first part of the city we encounter, and our perception of it will probably color the image we make in our minds of the city as a whole. Even though the fringe of the city is important to the image of the cityscape it has not very often been the direct object of attention either in planning, building or even in the heads of the masters, when big ideas were formed. More often than not the fringe seems like something that just happened over time due to separate landowners, businesses or actions of other financially strong operators. The aim of this essay is to try to describe the history of the city edge in Sweden, from the very first town in the 10th century until today?s expanding mosaic of different ideas and styles as well as to bring some clarity and order into some of the different ideas and ideals in the planning of the edge in different eras and to review how the edge has been shaped and used.

It?s a powerful tool, but its effects are difficult to predict (Theorell, 2009). Malnutrition in the elderly is a serious condition that often gets overlooked (Edfors & Westergren, 2012).

Liker has worked with Toyota's production philosophy and Lean for a long time and has created a 4 P model and 14 principles that characterize the Toyota production system (TPS), which many sources refer to.The aim of my work is to study the working procedure of asphalt projects from sales to the laid asphalt with a focus on planning and production management. This thesis aims to study the effects of the infrastructure project Västlänken in Gothenburg, a rail tunnel to be built through the city center. The study focuses on the community of Haga where one of the three exits will be constructed and also the surrounding urban environment, to see if the project can be sustainable. Sustainable urban development was selected as the theory, and the term "sustainable" is defined in this study using a number of criteria that two scientists developed. The criteria include economic, ecological and social perspectives on how a place or a geographical area can meet today's needs as well as possible needs in the future. The methods used were semi-structured interviews and content analysis of government documents. Interviews were conducted with various institutions in the city, and companies involved in the planning of the project in Gothenburg.

Vellinge är både centralorten i Vellinge kommun och en bostadsförort till Malmö. Orten består till stor del av villabebyggelse. Vellinges expansion kan härledas till två viktiga händelser där den första var järnvägen drogs in till Vellinge. Järnvägen skapade nya förutsättningar för industrier, handel och framförallt nya kommunikationer. Den andra händelsen var bilens starka intåg under 50-talet. Bilen skapade möjligheten att röra sig över längre sträckor vilket också resulterade i att utbyggnaden av Vellinge bredde ut sig över större ytor. Utbredningen nådde sin topp under 70-talet då Vellinge fördubblades i storlek. I centrum genomfördes under samma tid en modernisering där nya centrumbyggnader och stora parkeringsytor anlades.

This final thesis aim to create a support that can decrease the uncertainty when planning the cable drum flanges lines that produces cable drums in the interval 100 to 320cm in diameter at Vida Packaging in Hestra. The purpose attains through finding an optimal batch size that minimizes the total storage cost and order prime cost, without degenerate delivery capacity to the customer. Through survey the sale and stock balance development during 2005 and 2006 for cable drums in Hestra and give alternative suggestions how to plan the production after installing a new cable drum flanges line. The study also explores different ways of working during product change in existing nailing line, to minimize the order prime cost. Vida Packaging in Hestra is a part of the Vida group, which is Sweden?s largest privately owned sawmill group with seven sawmills placed all around southern Sweden.

Detta kandidatarbete undersöker gröna tak i urban miljö. Gröna tak är i denna uppsats ett begrepp och samlingsnamn för vegetation på byggnaders tak i olika former. Trenden för gröna tak pekar uppåt, främst utomlands men även i Sverige. Emporia i Malmö som är ett av Skandinaviens största köpcentrum är byggt med ett så kallat grönt tak. Detta tak anlades dock på initiativ av byggherren och inte efter kommunens beslut. Huvudsyftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om och i så fall hur kommunen kan planlägga gröna tak. Fördelar och nackdelar med det gröna taket kommer också att utgöra en del av uppsatsen.

In the rural districts of Sweden, especially in Skåne, the political party Sverigedemokraterna is gaining more and more territory. The aim of this thesis is to examine if the presence of Sverigedemokraterna has had an effect on the other political parties in Kävlinge and Svedala municipality, with focus on images and collective identity. The aim is also to examine what influence Sverigedemokraterna might have on the political agenda of the two municipalities. In order to be able to fulfil the purpose of the essay, we chose to combine three kinds of qualitative methods; interviews, observations and literature studies. We used theories about images and collective identity to examine in which way the municipal politicians tend to classify Sverigedemokraterna in terms of different images and if their presence has effected the other politicians in terms of forming a collective identity.

The public spaces of the city from a social sustainability perspective, Jubileumsparken, a public space for the young, aims to see how public spaces can be open and accessible to all young people in the community. New public spaces can be created and formed by urban planning. A public space that is undergoing considerable development is Jubileumsparken, which is situated in Gothenburg. This area constitutes the case study for this thesis. Due to the commercialization in the neo-liberal society of today, there is a risk that economically weak people, such as the young, the unemployed or students, can?t take part of all public spaces.
