Cultural heritages are environments created by humans that are considered to have a conservation value for the posterity. They can be seen as one of society's non renewable resources. It is important to have knowledge of how cultural heritages are affected by future climate changes.The water flow in Uppsala is estimated to increase during winter and decrease during spring and summer. Precipitation will gradually increase as well as the intense short period precipitation. The average temperature is estimated to increase as well.

In 2002 the Norrköping municipality decided to establish a number of supportive teams and one teaching group with the purpose of developing alternative supporting efforts for children with social problems. This development work came to be called BUSS. BUSS today consists of four local teams, team Ett, team Norra, team Torpet and the Mathson School.The teams? focus, beyond the commission from Norrköping municipality, is to reduce the number of children being placed outside their own homes, get them to function in school, develop their self-confidence and social competence. Also their task is to support parents and take up a functional spare time for the children.

Land consolidation is a major problem in many countries in Europe. In Sweden, mainly the state of Dalarna, there is a strong consolidation of forestland, probably the strongest in all of Europe. The consolidation is a big obstacle for forest management and ownership questions due to the often long and narrow strips of land. One of the main reasons for land consolidation in Dalarna results from the heritage procedure, were land is divided between all of the inheritors. To improve the consolidation large surveys in the consolidated villages in Dalarna are carried out. Many laws have to be followed due to the survey.

Ill health takes different expressions during different periods in life and habits during the early years affect the health during the rest of the lifetime. Bronfenbrenners ecological systems theory has been used as a theoretical starting point in this cross-sectional study. The aim of this study was to identify differences in self-rated health and health-related factors between boys and girls and between the compulsory school and the upper secondary school in Sundbyberg municipality as a basis for the planned activity in the Young Women?s shelter in Sundbyberg, as well as in other municipalities A questionnaire consisting of 24 questions based on different variables has identified disparities in health and health-related factors between boys and girls in Sundbyberg municipality (n=323). This paper found pronounced differences between the sexes in terms of sex and relationships, security, emotional support and psychosomatic complaints.

Climate change is an increasingly widely known concept. In the EU the construction sector is responsible for more than a third of the carbon dioxide emissions and 40 % of the total energy use. In Sweden, measures have been taken to prevent this climate change. By 16 targets, three of which can be linked to the construction sector, Sweden will reduce the negative trend. None of the three goals with relation to the construction sector will however be achieved before 2020.

Stockholm Konstsim Herr har tills nyligen varit det enda manliga konstsimlag i Sverige. Och är ett av få i världen. I April 2011 vann de sitt andra guld i rad i tävlingen Men?s Cup, den enda tävlingen för manliga konstsimlag.Jag har i den här uppsatsen velat undersöka hur och i vilken mån deltagarna i laget upplever konstsimmet som meningsskapande och hur de konstruerar, gestaltar och skapar en manlig identitet i och genom konstsimmet.Jag har gått till väga så att jag har gjort några intervjuer och deltagande observationer, och i kombination med utvald teori byggt min analys på det.Centrala begrepp är maskulinitet, meningsskapande, identitet, hegemoni och tabu. .

Under efterkrigstiden har den regionala tillväxten i industriländerna undergått en explosionsartad utveckling. Samtidigt skedde en massiv utbyggnad och förbättring av infrastrukturen. Dessa båda områdes avancemang avslutades abrupt med den globala finanskrisen under 1970-talet. När konjunkturen vände tillbaka och tillväxten tog fart igen var det däremot inte med samma starka stäv som innan krisen. Denna tröga utveckling förbluffade makroekonomerna, som sökte med ljus och lyckta efter möjliga orsaker såsom energipriser, social reglering och regioners näringslivssammansättning.

It has long been discussed how to use music in a new way in the field of food and elderly, and in this study, the authors wanted to test this. Music is the language of emotions. It?s a powerful tool, but its effects are difficult to predict (Theorell, 2009). Malnutrition in the elderly is a serious condition that often gets overlooked (Edfors & Westergren, 2012).

This project is a redesign of the magazine Vår Kommun, which is a magazine published by the municipality of UpplandsVäsby, Sweden. The redesign included a change of format from tabloid to a magazine format and the creating of adesign with a more modern look and feel of a magazine..

Bygglov handlar om att väga enskilda intressen mot allmänna intressen i hur vår omvärld skase ut. Tolkningen av hur lagen ska efter levas faller på bygglovshandläggaren, dennes chefoch däröver nämnden. Att handlägga ett bygglov kräver kunskaper i både PBL (plan- ochbygglagen) och BBR (boverkets byggregler), rätt instanser ska kontaktas samt remisser ochgrannhöranden skickas i de fall de behövs. En handläggare måste kunna läsa och tolkalagtexter, kartor och detaljplaner som ibland är av äldre datum och svårtydda.Det här arbetet tar upp hur kommunerna arbetar med bygglovshandläggningen och hurkunderna upplever kommunernas arbete. The purpose of the study was to investigate how inventories of suspected polluted areas as a part of the planned control of existing companies cab be designed in order to achieve as great effect as possible. The study was conducted in cooperation with Piteå municipality. An analysis of regional inventory projects, local municipal strategies and a pilot study in Piteå was conducted. The experience from both the regional projects and the pilot study was that in order to achieve an effective control a number of factors were inportant: an efficient selection of companies, a good dialogue between the controlling agency and the companies, sufficient resources, education of municipal inspectors and guidance for decisionmaking. Another inportant result was that the municipal planning can prevent an efficient inventory if the control of city development projects is allowed to take time from the planned control.

Stockholms spårvägar växer i allt snabbare fart, och det är allt fler kommuner som är intresserade av den typen av transportmedel. Något som idag är en brist inom spårvägsindustrin i Stockholm är kunskap och erfarenhet om spårvägsämnet. Drift och underhåll har varit minimal eftersom det inte har prioriterats sedan Tvärbanan öppnades. Detta har lett till för tidig reinvestering av gatuspår i mångmiljonbelopp.Då det förekommer olika förutsättningar som måste tas hänsyn till i form av buller, mån om plats och geoteknik finns det många konstruktioner att välja mellan när en spårväg ska byggas. Denna rapport har som syfte att underlätta val av spårvägsinvesteringar i framtiden.

In the rural districts of Sweden, especially in Skåne, the political party Sverigedemokraterna is gaining more and more territory. The aim of this thesis is to examine if the presence of Sverigedemokraterna has had an effect on the other political parties in Kävlinge and Svedala municipality, with focus on images and collective identity. The aim is also to examine what influence Sverigedemokraterna might have on the political agenda of the two municipalities. In order to be able to fulfil the purpose of the essay, we chose to combine three kinds of qualitative methods; interviews, observations and literature studies. We used theories about images and collective identity to examine in which way the municipal politicians tend to classify Sverigedemokraterna in terms of different images and if their presence has effected the other politicians in terms of forming a collective identity.

Stockholm har en lång tradition av boende på vattnet. Gamla avbildningar av staden uppvisar ett myller av bebyggda bryggor och pålverk ute i vattnet. Genom åren har stadens invånare ofta tagit sin tillflykt till båtar, pråmar och halvsjunkna gamla vrak när bostadsbristen varit svår. De flytande samhällena ute på redden vid Ryssviken är det idag få som känner till.Under 1980-talet blev det olagligt att bo permanent på båt i Stockholm. Båtboende blev en gråzon därför att gränsdragningen mellan vistelse och boende på båt blev för svår.
