The purpose of this Bachelor thesis in Economics at Lund University is to try to establish the correlation between the value change of retail real estate buildings in Sweden and macro economic variables. The principal method is the multiple regression model and it is used to estimate the basic model. The basic model is enhanced by estimating some 30 models and the result is two good models. The difference between the basic model and the two better models are small but important. In the lagged basic model, the same variables are used as in the basic model but with different time lags.

Uppdragsberäkningsdelen är stor och komplex och genomatt göra en modell av uppdragsberäkningarna kan man enklare simulera och verifieradem innan införandet av en ändring. I detta examensarbete har en modellav koden implementerats i MATLAB/Simulink.Under arbetet har en bränsleberäkningskärna och en accelerationsberäkningsfunktionmodellerats. I samband med modelleringen har modelleringsmetoder utvecklatsför vanligt förekommande dataobjekt och funktionaliteter i koden, såsom variabler,loopar och if-satser. En stor del av arbetet har handlat om validering av modellen mot originalkoden.

Syftet är att få en djupare förståelse för vilkainterna parametrar som påverkar lönsamhet, samt hur och i vilken utsträckning.Studien baserades på en teoretisk referensram bestående av ?Resource-based view?och flertal tidigare studier inom ämnet. Det senare ledde till ett val av tio internaparametrar, med tillhörande hypoteser för undersökningen. Empirin framställdes avinsamlade värden från ett urval på 34 hotellföretag.

Figures from the USA indicate that the capital- and operating costs of warehouses represent about 22 % of a company?s logistics costs while figures from Europe indicate 25 % (Baker & Canessa, 2009). Because warehousing is such an important function within a company, the authors chose to focus on this in their thesis. The purpose of this thesis was to analyze conception and foaling results of Swedish warmblood and Standardbred trotters using breeding statistics during the years 2000-2006. Key issues in this thesis were: Have the conception and foaling results of stallions changed during the period 2000-2006? What is the effect of the use of various breeding methods? Is testicle size correlated with conception and foaling results? How important are age, breed and level of inbreeding of the stallion for conception and foaling results? Breeding statistics were available for 537 Swedish Warmblood stallions and 305 Standardbred trotter stallions. To be included in the analyses, a stallion must have mated at least ten mares in total over the period 2000-2006. This criterion was met by 313 Swedish Warmblood stallions and 272 Standardbred trotter stallions.

The majority of the Uppsala municipality residents live in urban areas and most of them spend some of their spare time in natural areas in cities and their immediate surroundings. Exploitation in and around Uppsala is high, but it is important that there is enough nature close to houses to meet the residents? needs of recreation.

Syftet var att beskriva samband mellan äldres kognition och nutritionsstatus i relation till ålder och kön, med fokus på äldre som bodde på särskilt boende eller var ensamboende i eget boende. Studien hade en kvantitativ ansats och byggde på redan insamlat material från SNAC-B (the Swedish National study on Aging and Care i Blekinge).
