This thesis aims to increase understanding and knowledge of issues affecting the redevelopment of older office buildings to housing. The rising demand for housing in recent years has resulted in a need and an increase in cost housing projects. The need has led property owners wanting to build old office buildings to apartments. The case study is carried out in Lycksele town and in close contact with consultancy TM (Technician Mercantile) ? consulting, which has operations in the area.

This scientific essay starts in a story where you get to follow me in my work by three situations with creative problem behavior at the special school where I work. The story culminates in a dilemma where I ask myself questions about how I look at my actions and my thoughts about the student. I break down and put these thoughts into three questions: What is my student's perspective and how will it affect my actions? How do my practical knowledge look like in the narrative situations and why do I act like I do?My approach is to get answers to the questions by the reflection of the text itself, the reflection group and supervisors, as well as through literature that I find relevant to the issues. The process is like a pendulum motion between text, reflection and new understanding.I look at my situations based on psychological theories about the treatment of persons within the autism spectrum of problems creative behavior.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how out-pedagogy, drama and art can be used as means of promoting language development of bi-and multi-language learners, and to show what benefits these three methods offer to children of year three of an elementary school in Stockholm City. This is a small survey of work-style and the results are based on observations and interviews with five teachers which included three class teachers, one resource teacher and one other language teacher and it was carried out two full days of observations in both classroom and outdoor environment. In this work, I note how out-pedagogy, drama and art can help bi- and multilingual children develop language. My study shows, in accordance with the respondents interviewed, as well as research in general that out-pedagogy, drama and art is language development practices. They argue that out-pedagogy and the aesthetic elements promote language development of bi- and multilingual children in different ways and complements the traditional approach.

In order to gain better accessibility, changesin the physical fabric need to be made, with consideration for the cultural and historical characteristics.The introduction presents the subject of considarate accessibility. The second chapter deals with the legalaspects concerning the protection of buildings as well as the accessibility for disabled people. I have studied the dialogues of malls and the communication within, how malls are put together and what they communicate. The city is constantly changing. Energy is an important issue in the current world which significantly affects sustainability and development. Energy generation and use are major sources of CO2 emissions which is one of the most important driving factors in global climate changes. The amount of energy used in house hold section can lead to estimation of the amount of CO2 emitted within this section which subsequently would be a ground to better management and maintaining a sustainable society. This study which is a bachelor?s project in sustainable energy, deals with estimation of CO2 emission from different types of residential houses in Sweden. An extensive literature review on energy use in Sweden by different residential sectors has been conducted.

Urban operations is one of the most difficult challenges a modern army can be tasked with. These challenges have been studied in history and present with various perspectives, but rarely from a combat engineering point of view. The purpose of this thesis has been to study the urban capabilities of a Swedish combat engineer company by examining if it can perform similar combat engineering fieldwork that supported the basic capabilities mobility, defence and effect in Operation AL FAJR, Fallujah Iraq 2004. These are the capabilities a Swedish engineer company are primarily designed to support in urban operations.For example, the study of Operation AL FAJR has shown that fieldwork supported mobility with breaching minefields, obstacles, walls and doors. SammanfattningBakgrund: Demens drabbar främst äldre och är en sjukdom där delar av hjärnan avvecklas. Personer med demenssjukdom får en nedsatt kognitiv förmåga och har svårt att minnas saker och utföra vardagliga aktiviteter. Många lider av ätsvårigheter vilket ökar risken för undernäring.Syfte:Att beskriva omvårdnadsåtgärder för att främja näringsintag hos personer med demenssjukdom.Metod: Studien är en litteraturstudie där sökningar i databaserna CINAHL,  PubMed och SweMed+  gjordes för att besvara syftet . Omvårdnadsåtgärder i artiklarna identifierades och kunde sorteras under olika kategorier och subkategorier.Resultat: För att främja näringsintaget hos personer med demenssjukdom identifierades fyra huvudsakliga åtgärder. De som lyftes fram var måltidssituation och matning, näringstillskott, miljöåtgärder och pedagogiska åtgärder.Slutsatser: Resultatet visar att vårdpersonalen har en viktig roll för att främja patienternas näringsstatus och kan tillgodose en gemytlig måltidsmiljö samt näringsrik och allsidig kost.

This essay examines the olfactory reading as a possible way to make sense of a fragmented novel, in this case Sara Stridsberg?s debut Happy Sally (2004). Through close reading, the essay identifies the source of the smells, who perceives it, and how this is portrayed in the text. The smell?s position in the text is understood in relation to Maurice Merleau-Ponty?s phenomenology, where the body, as created in the literary text, is considered as a source of knowledge.

This study has been carried out in the spring of 2014 on behalf of PQR Consult AB in Stockholm. The aim of the study has been to analyse the energy usage of the building Skarpövägen 1 in order to explore the possibilites of saving energy by using appropriate equipment. These possible solutions have been simulated by using the programe IDA Indoor Climate and Energy, combined with a life cycle cost analysis. The laundry building, Skarövägen 23, has also been analysed due to its high amount of energy usage. The result of the energy analysis showed that the energy usage was much higher than the energy declaration.

I och med Landscape Urbanism har landskapsbegreppet sedan en tid upplevt en hausse inom arkitektur- och stadsbyggnadsdiskurs. I och med denna nya uppmärksamhet för landskapet har ett nytt behov uppstått: att diskutera vad som egentligen menas när man använder detta mångtydiga begrepp. Med detta fokus behandlar denna uppsats komplikationerna som uppstår när ordet landskap och dess ofta motstridiga betydelser används utan att kommunicera vad som avses. Med utgångspunkt i lingvistiska teorier hävdar jag därför att språket och således semantiken, ordens innebörd, är av yttersta vikt för att formulera och konstruera nya stadsbyggnadsteorier såsom Landscape Urbanism. In my scientific essay, I an experienced child minder, describe two different preschools cultures and investigate how preschool culture can be influenced and created by different conditions.
