DAMP och ADHD-om symtom, orsaker och diagnoser

Syftet med detta arbete var att studera vad som utmÀrker de sÄ kallade bokstavsbarnen och vad som tros vara orsaken till deras problem. Genom arbetet ville jag fÄ en bild av hur handikappet upplevs av förÀldrar och barn och jag ville fÄ en uppfattning om hur man som lÀrare klarar av barnen i klassrummet. I flera Är har det pÄgÄtt en debatt i samhÀllet om diagnoserna Àr till godo eller till ondo för barnen som har drabbats. Efter att ha lÀst bÄde sidornas argument har jag kommit till den slutsatsen att utredning och diagnos Àr nödvÀndigt för att Damp- och Adhdbarnen ska fÄ den hjÀlp de behöver för att klara skolan. Metoderna som anvÀnds i arbetet Àr litteraturstudier och fem intervjuer av förÀldrar till Damp- diagnostiserade barn..

Barn med diagnosen DAMP och ADHD - en litteraturanalys och ett pedagogiskt exempel

Under det senaste Ärhundradet har man haft olika syn pÄ vad som Àr normalt och vad som Àr avvikande. Dessutom har problembestÀmningar och diagnoser kommit och gÄtt. Alla som arbetar i skolans vÀrld kommer sÀkerligen att möta barn i svÄrigheter. Trots samma diagnoser kan symtomen vara vÀldigt olika. Detta krÀver att pedagoger har kunskap om diagnoserna och kan sÀtta in resurser som passar det enskilda barnet.Syftet med arbetet Àr att beskriva och granska olika uppfattningar av diagnoserna DAMP och ADHD samt ÄskÄdliggöra praktiska metoder som forskning lett fram till.

Förskolans balansgÄng mellan fri- och styrd rörelsetrÀning : en kvalitativ studie om förskolors arbete med rörelsetrÀning

AimThe aim with this essay has been to investigate how preschools profiling in motor activity training, work to stimulate motor development of children. In order to study this, the main focus for the research has been on the following queries:What characterize motor activity training at the preschools studied?What is the purpose with the motor activity training of preschools which were studied?How do the preschools describe the affect that motor activity training has on children?How do the preschools look at the need for motor activity training?MethodFour in-depth interviews were conducted with representatives of the chosen preschools profiling in motor activity. My selection was based on a strategic sample and this was made by an internet mapping of preschool activities in the districts of Stockholm, and information from the service guide of the town of Stockholm. Then e-mail was sent to ten contact persons at preschool units, and ten preschools were contacted directly by phone.

Att möta elever med DAMP

Syftet med detta arbete Àr att genom litteraturstudier och empirisk undersökning ta reda pÄ hur lÀrare pÄ bÀsta sÀtt kan underlÀtta för DAMP-barn i skolan. Arbetet börjar med en litteraturgenomgÄng dÀr det först beskrivs vad DAMP innebÀr. Vidare tas de svÄrigheter upp som DAMP-barn kan ha och vilka problem som kan möta dem i skolan. I litteraturgenomgÄngen gÄr ocksÄ att lÀsa om det ansvar skolan har gentemot DAMP-barn och hur den enskilda lÀraren pÄ bÀsta sÀtt kan anpassa sin undervisning för dessa barn. De olika metodiska grepp somtas upp inbegriper bÄde allmÀnna ÄtgÀrder och mer specifika undervisningsmetoder sÄsom sÀrskild undervisningsgrupp eller sÀrskilt anpassat undervisningsmaterial.

En studie om hur ADHD/DAMP skildras i fem barnlitterÀra verk

The purpose of this study is to find out, explore and see how children with neuropsychiatric problems like ADHD/DAMP are portrayed and treated in five fictional children?s books written by writers who all are related to ADHD issues, except for one writer.I have done a text analysis performed on five children?s books which can be found in libraries in most of the libraries in Sweden. The analysis shows varying results between the five books followed by a general conclusion about how children with concentration problems are being presented in these chosen children's literature. The main problematic of this study is to examine how these characters are being represented and treated within the scopes of school, family relations and how ADHD/DAMP symptoms are portrayed. This study focuses on analysing how the actual ADHD/DAMP behaviour is being reflected and better understanding for the reader to understand the symptoms of ADHD.Another fact is what kind of relations these children with neuropsychiatric dysfunctions are portrayed when facing with other persons, such as family and friends and how ADHD/DAMP is affecting them daily basis.

DAMP -hur skolsituationen kan underlÀttas för elever med DAMP-svÄrigheter

Syftet med detta arbete Àr att genom litteraturstudier och en empirisk undersökning fÄ en bÀttre insikt i vad DAMP Àr och vad det kan innebÀra för elever med denna diagnos. Jag vill Àven ta reda pÄ vad skolans ansvar Àr och hur lÀrare i skolan kan hjÀlpa och underlÀtta för elever med dessa svÄrigheter. Arbetet bestÄr av tvÄ delar, varav den första Àr en litteraturgenomgÄng dÀr olika forskares syn och Äsikter om DAMP Àr presenterade och sammanstÀllda. Den andra delen bestÄr av en undersökande del dÀr intervjuer med fyra olika lÀrare, om deras kunskaper om hur lÀrare kan underlÀtta för DAMP-elever, presenteras. Genom litteraturen och den empiriska undersökningen har det framkommit att DAMP Àr ett osynligt handikapp som kan bero pÄ mÄnga olika faktorer, av vilka forskarna inte Àr riktigt överens om.

En skola för alla. Med eller utan diagnos

Vi har skrivit detta arbete framförallt för blivande men Àven för yrkesverksamma lÀrare. Syftet med vÄrt examensarbete var att försöka ta reda pÄ hur en elev med DAMP/ADHD kan uppleva sin skolsituation samt hur arbetet i ett klassrum pÄverkas för en lÀrare som har en elev med DAMP/ADHD. Vi har genom intervjuer med pedagoger och en elev fÄtt fram hur vardagen i skolan kan se ut frÄn bÄde elev ?och lÀrarperspektivet. Vi har Àven besökt Karolinaskolan dÀr vi fick insikt i hur det kan se ut pÄ ett internat för elever med DAMP/ADHD.

Emotionell kompetens : om möjligheter till utveckling och betydelse för ett effektivt ledarskap

Purpose of the study was to illustrate how emotional competence can be important for leadership and to explore the possibility of improving emotion perception ability after training. Participants in this study were 40 managers, divided into control and experimental group, within public administration. The participants implemented a data-based emotion perception test, which were done twice at every occasion, with intervention consisting of information or education between test- and retest. The result showed a clear improvement after intervention, in which no difference was found between control and experimental group, which has been discussed on the basis of the likelihood of a training effect occurred between test-retest. Conclusions about emotional competence or leadership ability could not be drawn from the results of the emotion perception test.

Motorikens betydelse för inlÀrning

AbstractMy purpose with this study is to find out if it helps children who have diffuculties with their concentration if they get to practise their motor behaviour knowledge during their day at the school to promote their learning capacity. My purpose is also to find out how schools works with motor behaviour training. To get answers to my questions have I done interviews with four educationalists and I have also used books and internet sites. Motor behaviour is of importance to how children learn things in the school, without a well working motor children gets difficulties to sit still and to concentrate. The children may put their energy at the wrong things in the classroom, when the energy instead should be need to learning things.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the understanding of the diagnoses ADHD and DAMP within different professional categories in the educational system, how it is being addressed and how this affect their work with children diagnosed with ADHD or DAMP. We also wanted to shed some light on the debate between KĂ€rfve and Gillberg, about whether the diagnoses of ADHD and DAMP are social constructed problems or biological and genetic disorders. More specifically, our study was of a qualitative nature and consisted of interviews with seven persons working in six different professions within the educational system. The respondents all worked in school environments but with varied roles and thus varied experience of children with ADHD/DAMP. The interviews and literature studies revealed the complexity of ADHD and DAMP and also the diversity of the debate regarding the diagnoses.

The main part of this work aims to create andverify a solution that can control the starter motor, as well as protect it incase of any failure. The different malfunctions that the solution protectsagainst is high current, too high peak current, low current, maximum cranktime and minimum cool off time. The timers also protect indirectly againstoverheating of the starter engine.The transistors used are BTS555, from Infineon.

Diagnosens vara eller icke vara : En kvalitativ studie om speciallÀrares/specialpedagogers syn pÄ fenomenen ADHD och DAMP

Aim & Questions at issueThe aim of our study is to study how special teachers/special educationalists in schools of Stockholm look at the phenomenon ADHD/DAMP. We have looked into their view on the diagnose, compared to the two different kinds of research visions about the diagnosis who are known in Sweden today. How do the special teacher/special educationalist work with the diagnosed children?This is our questions at issue:? Is there any optimal learning situation for children with ADHD/DAMP?? Is there something that distinguish all children with ADHD/DAMP?? What is positive and negative about giving the diagnose ADHD/DAMP to children?? Is there any external factors that influence that there is so many more children today who has been given a diagnose?? How does special teachers/special educationalists look on amfetamin-treatment?MethodWe have done qualitative interviews with special teachers/special educationalists in the city area of Stockholm. These have been worked up one by one and then been compared and evaluated together.ResultAll special teachers/special educationalists mentioned that when you educate children with ADHD/DAMP, a structured life underlies the possibility for the children to provide knowledge.

Motor till unikt luftvÀrmevÀxlarsystem

Gtherm is an innovation company who has an unique air heat exchanger underdevelopment. The purpose of this thesis is to provide data of suitable motors for theheat exchanger and to find suitable motor suppliers.A motor specification was designed. It is an important basis for the search of suitablemotors. A compilation was made of nine motor suppliers and the suitable motorsfrom those. The compilation can be used by GTherm in their choice of suppliers andmotors.The compilation of the demands on the motor and analysis of suppliers indicated thatthere were no standard motors available to GTherms air heat exchanger.

En empirisk studie om : Resursskolor och integrerade skolors möjlighet till att socialisera pojkar med DAMP/ADHD.

Denna uppsats Àr en empirisk studie som syftar till att öka kunskapen kring möjligheterna att socialisera pojkar med DAMP/ADHD i skolan. I litteraturgenomgÄngen faststÀlls begreppen DAMP, ADHD och integrering. Dessutom implicerar uppsatsen en bearbetning av styrdokumenten för skola och sÀrskola. För att rikta blicken mot skolan som en kulturbÀrande institution, en arena dÀr vÀrden och normer kommuniceras, kommer jag att anvÀnda mig av den symboliska interaktionismen. Jag kommer att se pÄ skolan som en agent för bÄde kontinuitet och förÀndring i samhÀllet.

TrÄdlös kamerastyrning

As an amateur it can be difficult filming from several angles at the same time as this requires several cameras. ItÂŽs also hard to film at occasions when itÂŽs not appropriate to manoeuvre the camera manually. Systems for solving these problems already exist, but itÂŽs either more expensive, professionalsystems or cheaper systems with limited functionality.The purpose of this project is to develop a cost efficient solution to the problem above that offers a better functionality then existing commercial systems. The biggest difference from existing products is the wireless video feedback from the camera to the remote unit.The result of the project is a system consisting of two units, a manoeuvre unit with a cradle for the video camera and a remote unit from which the operator can control pan and tilt of the video camera.Communication between the two units is wireless.On the remote unit there is a joystick and a display mounted. In addition to this, there is also an IR receiver that is capable of reading the signal from the cameras own remote and sending it to the manoeuvre unit.The manoeuvre unit is equipped with one motor to control the tilt function and one motor to control the pan.
