There will be changes in the accounting regulations in Sweden. Firms will be categorised as K1-K4 firms depending on the size of the company. There will be different levels of accounting in the four categories. Firms will always have the possibility to choose a more advanced accounting regulation than the one they are obligated to due to their size. The purpose of this dissertation is to investigate which factors that influence the management in K3 firms in the choice between the K3 and K4 regulation.

Farmers are constantly facing changes, and the exposure to risk requires monitoring these changes. Financial risks, institutional risks, market risks and production risks are the different risk categories that the farmers face. Production risks stems from factors the farmer cannot affect or is beyond his control. The crop?s output is the basis for the primary income of agricultural operations, which is why it is important for farmer to manage their production risk. A tool to reduce the consequences of production risks is crop insurance.

To complete an overweight treatment program is associated with better weight loss. Previous studies have in principle focused on drop-out from the entire program, not individual parts of a program. Factors previously shown to influence the patients´ weight loss results are: frequency of individual meetings with a professional, the lack of social support from family or friends, the lack of motivation and in a few studies vacations. In several studies the drop-out patients have stated that their reasons for drop-out were dissatisfaction with the staff and the program design. Drop-out has also been shown to be connected with difficulties in adherence to the diet.

   To work and live in the same place where ones employer also is the landlord, can create a situation with many special requirements for the individual. Constrains regarding time, space and impact on social life is likely to appear. Based on theory and empirical research about the Boundaryless work and the Psychological contract the purpose of this report is to examine employees who live and work at the same place. This is done by studying the regulation regarding time and space factors and the psychological contracts in expectations and in violation of the psychological contract and the risks associated with this like Locked-in factors. The study includes interviews with managers and employees (n=9).

Several factors affect the heifer´s growth and development, the newborn calf´s feeding of co-lostrum during its first hours of life is one important factor. The colostrum contains higher amount of immunoglobulins and insulin growth factors compared to matured milk. A high intake of immunoglobulins from colostrum results in a high blood concentration of immuno-globulins until the age of eight months. This leads to a lower incidence of diseases that can affect the growth and development negatively. Diarrhea is the most common disease in calves younger than 30 days.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur lärare arbetar för att stimulera elevers motivation till lärande. Vilken betydelse får motivation för hur lärare utformar sin undervisning samt hur lärare ser på och agerar för att stimulera motivation till lärande. Utifrån följande frågeställningar studeras motivation och undervisning ur ett lärarperspektiv: Vilka aspekter i lärarens förhållningssätt är betydelsefullt för elevernas motivation? Vilka motivationsfrämjande faktorer implementeras i undervisningen? Vilka strategier använder lärare för att hantera omotiverade elever och stimulera dem till lärande? Som metod för studien har kvalitativ intervju använts. Sex lärare har intervjuades och undervisade alla i årkurserna 1- 3.    Studiens resultat visar att lärarna utförligt arbetar med att främja motivationen i klassrummet.

To log on to social media has become an obvious part of people's everyday routine. Pictures, videos, opinions, and thoughts are posted and read by people's social networks worldwide. In doing so, the present study chose to examine whether what is posted on social media, as well as what the individuals are exposed to on social media can be related to their motivation and self-esteem. By letting 117 adolescents aged 16-19 answer a questionnaire regarding which social media they are active on, how often they are active there, and what they post on those social medias. By also letting them evaluate how they see themselves, if they compare themselves with others and how motivated they are to physical activity and healthy eating habits, we could see that to those who post pictures, and are exposed to images represent exercise / health on social media have higher self-esteem and driven more by internal motivation to engage physical activity than those who do not.

Uppsatsen tar upp SFI:ns karaktär och uppbyggnad, manligt och kvinnligt och motivation. Syfte är att mot bakgrund av tidigare forskning och litteratur undersöka om det finns skillnader mellan mäns och kvinnors motivation att lära sig det svenska språket i en SFI-klass. Det är viktigt att uppmärksamma om sådana skillnader finns så att pedagoger i så fall kan arbeta aktivt för att öka motivationen hos den grupp där det brister. Då kvinnor och män skiljer sig åt på många områden är det troligt att även åtgärder för att öka motivationen bör se olika ut, beroende på vilken grupp man vänder sig till. Resultaten av denna undersökning är därför i högsta grad relevanta för utformningen av en god SFI-undervisning.

The focus of this study is to dig deeper into what motivates volunteer travelers. The commercial side of volunteer travelling has increased in the past years, and young Swedes pay large amounts of money to travel to other countries and work as volunteers. The purpose of this study is to get a glimpse into what motivates these young people, and how this correlates to the rapid increase of commercial travelling bureaus that focus on volunteer travelling. Five people under the age of 30, who had been volunteering through a commercial travelling agency, where interviewed for this study. The results show that the main motivation for paying to go work abroad is actually the experience, meeting new people and seeing new things.

Aim and Problem statement The study aimed to investigate views on physical health amongst patients in methadone maintenance program, which is a subject little explored. Previous studies suggest that methadone patients are at risk developing illnesses related to the metabolic syndrome and an unhealthy lifestyle. Methadone also has side effects such as weight gain and irregular levels of glucose. Method This qualitive study included seven interviews with patients in the methadone maintenance program in Uppsala. Qualitive content analyses were performed Findings Content anlyses gave the theme: The view on physical health is a stuggle after normality were ambivalence of lifestyle changes and alienation causes instability in helath.

A clean and affordable energy source for cooking is deficient in developing countries. People rely on fuels that contribute to environmental, social and health problems.Biogas is an alternative energy source and an increased investment in small-scale biogas production can in several developing countries be found. Several projects have started to use the technology in developing countries because of the benefits with biogas. Some cases in the establishment of biogas plants have succeeded and some have not. The study is a literature review supplemented by two field studies.

Syftet med denna studie var att genom kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer ta reda på hur flickor med utländsk bakgrund kan uppleva ett specifikt fotbollsprojekt som syftar till att öka deltagandet bland flickor med invandrarbakgrund. Syftet var även att undersöka vilken betydelse projektet kan ha för dem. Sex flickor med utländsk bakgrund som deltar i det specifika fotbollsprojektet ingick i studien. Av resultatet framkom att flickorna upplever att projektet har haft en stor betydelse för deras självuppfattning. Projektet har gett dem nya möjligheter att lära sig spela fotboll, träffa nya kompisar samt att vara mer fysiskt aktiva.

Syftet med föreliggande arbete var att undersöka om en varierad undervisning i matematik kan påverka eleverna till att få en positivare syn och ökad motivation till ämnet. Undersökningen genomfördes i en år 4 med 18 elever. Vi gjorde ett utvecklingsarbete som omfattade sju lektionstillfällen, som genomfördes i en lektionsserie, med varierat innehåll och upplägg. En enkät lämnades ut som en förundersökning och en annan lämnades ut efter avslutad undervisningsserie. Deltagande observationer skedde kontinuerligt under den verksamhetsförlagda utbildningen.

De allra flesta fastighetsmäklare i Sverige arbetar med provisionslön. Syftet med det här arbetet är därför att förhoppningsvis skapa en diskussion i fastighetsmäklarbranschen om det är nödvändigt med provisionslön. Vi har intervjuat sex fastighetsmäklare och bland annat kommit fram till att det är dags för en förändring i fastighetsmäklarbranschen och att det bör föras en gemensam diskussion om lönesättningen..

De flesta organisationer är idag målstyrda där måluppföljning sker genom resultatbaserade styrsystem. Utvecklingen av styrsätt och styrsystem har gått från regelstyrning till fokus på prestationer. Tidigare studier visar att inre motivation skapar bättre attityder till arbetet. Det leder till bättre prestationer om medarbetaren känner delaktighet och får regelbunden återkoppling. I uppsatsen undersöktes hur medarbetare upplever att mål- och resultatstyrning påverkar motivationen och arbetsutförandet i en bankverksamhet, samt hur detta tar sig i uttryck i handling.
