The purpose of this essay is to investigate how the crisis communication was perceived between SAS, massmedia and citizens during the volcano crisis in 2010. The questions posed are: - How did the communication between SAS, media and citizens function during the crisis? - How did senders, intermediaries and beneficiaries experience the information and communication during the crisis? - How important was the internet communication for SAS, media and citizens during the crisis?The collected material consists of interviews and desktop research of material from Internet.The study shows that the communication between SAS, the media and citizens worked well on the social medias but was weaker in all other mediachannels. SAS was also weak in following up information received by media and travelers, and they therefore they had a different picture of the situation during the crisis. SAS thought that the communication worked fine between the parties involved.

The purpose of the study was from the perspective of young people that has completed a stay at HVB-home. The respondents are between 15-21 years both boys and girls. The basic questions were: How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service process? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service contents? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service regarding available information and how the staff is available? What positive and negative experience do they have from their stay at the HVB-home? We also wish to get a picture of what is important to change to improve the quality on this HVB-home. To receive answers to those questions we formed a questionnaire.

Background: Pedagogical documentation is currently used as a natural part of the educational activities under the revised curriculum for preschool.Aim: The purpose of this study is to see how preschool teachers perceive and define educational documentation in preschool. The aim is also to see what opportunities and obstacles that may arise over the pedagogical documentation.Method: The study was conducted along a qualitative approach with questionnaires in order to reach more preschool teachers and thus obtain a broader picture of the subject content. From a phenomenological approach I have taken account of the preschool teachers' experience and perception of educational documentation and designed it to my own interpretation.Results: The results show that pedagogical documentation is an important tool in preschool teachers work not only found to contain a product, but seems more like a collection of a lot of products to be brought together into a whole..

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med denna studie är att undersöka vad elever i årskurs nio har för uppfattning om begreppet hälsa. Ambitionen är att nå en djupare förståelse för hur elever tänker och resonerar kring begreppet hälsa.Frågeställning:Vad har elever i årskurs nio för uppfattning kring begreppet hälsa?MetodDenna studie bygger på ostrukturerade intervjuer utifrån den kvalitativa metoden. Författaren har intervjuat fyra elever, två killar och två tjejer i årskurs nio. Intervjuerna har skett vid tre olika tillfällen med samma deltagare alla gånger.ResultatFrån resultaten av intervjuerna kan man dra slutsatsen att dessa elever var relativt samstämmiga i uppfattningen om vad begreppet hälsa innebär.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningarStudiens huvudsyfte har varit att öka kunskapen kring de elever som väljer att inte delta på idrottsundervisningen. Vidare har syftet varit att försöka utläsa skillnader och likheter mellan de elever på en gymnasieskola som läser idrott och hälsa i ordinarie grupp och elever på samma skola som valt att läsa ämnet i mindre grupp.Utifrån syftet har följande frågeställningar formulerats:? Hur beskriver gymnasieeleverna i de olika grupperna sina erfarenheter och upplevelser av idrottsundervisningen, motion på fritiden, utbildning och upplevd hälsa?? Vilka skäl kan enligt läraren till den mindre gruppen finnas till att elever inte deltar i den ordinarie idrottsundervisningen i den undersökta skolan och vad kan göras annorlunda?MetodDe metoder som valdes utifrån studiens syfte var såväl av kvantitativt som kvalitativt slag.Med en kombination av metoderna såg vi det som en möjlighet att belysa fler aspekter av problemområdet. En enkätstudie har genomförts med 90 gymnasieelever i södra Stockholm.Urvalet bestod av två grupper. 60 elever som deltar i den ordinarie idrottsundervisningen, och 30 som går i gruppen som benämns med namnet idrott och hälsa i mindre grupp.

Since 1998, the Swedish preschool has its own curriculum and with this the preeschool became the first step of a lifelong learning. The aim of this study was to explore how preschool teachers perceive their work before and after the Swedish curriculum was inserted. A qualitative method was used in this study. Four different in-depth interviews were conducted with preschool teachers, all experienced working at least before 1993. The curriculum theory and curriculum history were used to analyze the empirical data.

The following study is a qualitative combination of textual analysis and interviews concerning the subject of slashfiction. Slash is a sub-category to fanfiction, which essentially means non-professionally authored short stories about already existing characters and environments, for example from TV-shows, movies or books. These stories are available on the internet. The main point is to pair two of the male characters together in a sexual relationship. According to previous studies, 90 percent of all fanfiction writers are female and this percentage is probably even higher when it comes to slash.I have looked into what these stories can be an expression of, by analyzing the construction of gender, sexuality and relationships using the following three questions:Is slash a quest for an ideal equal and romantic relationship?Do these stories represent a resistance against established norms regarding gender and sexuality?What role does transcendence of boundaries play in slash? I have used stories that are derived from the American TV show Supernatural, which generally try to explore the relationship between its protagonists, the brothers Sam and Dean Winchester.  The result gives a somewhat divided picture of slash, as some stories clearly break with traditional gender norms while others seem to uphold them..

This thesis concerns partial discharges in stator windings and the possibility of analyzing data using statistical methods. Partial discharges, or PD, are a physical phenomenon in which discharges occur locally due to large electric fields. PD can occur in or adjacent to the insulation of stator windings and causes breakdown of the insulating materials. PD measurement can provide an idea of how widespread the PD activity is. A technique to measure and analyze PD that has become very popular over the last few decades is phase resolved PD patterns.

This thesis in Art History and Visual Science is about values to graffiti and graffiti artist Banksy. I have studied values relating to Banksy´s graffiti images through which context they are placed in and where they are located. I have selected two different images of Banksy as an example on the basis of a transnational phenomenon, where the images that circulate in the public arena by street art and other images and imported into the galleries and consumption market. My conclusion is that the values of the images are based on the context in which each room have its surroundings and that therefore the impression will increase. The public space context, signal availability and the white cube context indicates art, and the commercial context signals goods and items that can be bought.

Stockholm har en lång tradition av boende på vattnet. Gamla avbildningar av staden uppvisar ett myller av bebyggda bryggor och pålverk ute i vattnet. Genom åren har stadens invånare ofta tagit sin tillflykt till båtar, pråmar och halvsjunkna gamla vrak när bostadsbristen varit svår. De flytande samhällena ute på redden vid Ryssviken är det idag få som känner till.Under 1980-talet blev det olagligt att bo permanent på båt i Stockholm. Båtboende blev en gråzon därför att gränsdragningen mellan vistelse och boende på båt blev för svår.

Bakgrund: Diabetes ökar bland befolkningen och idag finns 350 000 personer med diabetes i Sverige. Diabetes typ II behandlas främst med egenvård som ändrade kostvanor och ökad motion. Detta kan minska senkomplikationer som försämrad blodcirkulation, svårläkta sår och ögonbottenförändringar. För att klara egenvården krävs att personen med diabetes är självständig men ändå känner en trygghet i att sjuksköterskan finns till för att stötta och inge en positiv attityd när motivationen brister. Dorothea Orem förespråkar varje individs förmåga till självläkning genom egenvård och motivation till att upprätthålla liv, hälsa och välbefinnande.

I dagens samhälle har individen ett stort ansvar för sin egen hälsa trots att olika levnadsvillkor leder till skillnader i motion och hälsa. Därför har centrala myndigheter, och då i synnerhet grundskolan, i uppgift att fostra eleverna till att leva ett hälsosamt liv. Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva hur hälsobegreppet i ämnet idrott och hälsa kan behandlas. Syftet är också att ta reda på vad begreppet hälsa kan innebära, vilka mål som finns inom området hälsa samt hur lärares inställningar till hälsoundervisning kan se ut. Arbetet tar sin teoretiska utgångspunkt i ett sociokulturellt perspektiv.

Ambitionen och målet med mitt projekt var att visualisera delar av en berättelse med hjälp av den senaste datortekniken. Detta tog sin form av en 3d-animation. Målet var inte att producera en färdig kortfilm utan att arbeta med utvalda delar. Projektet var indelat i tre block; en planerings- och researchfas, en produktionsfas och en reflektionsfas. Stora delar av magisterarbetet har bestått av att producera innehåll som sedan ska analyseras.
