The purpose of the study was from the perspective of young people that has completed a stay at HVB-home. The respondents are between 15-21 years both boys and girls. The basic questions were: How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service process? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service contents? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service regarding available information and how the staff is available? What positive and negative experience do they have from their stay at the HVB-home? We also wish to get a picture of what is important to change to improve the quality on this HVB-home. To receive answers to those questions we formed a questionnaire.

The idea for the thesis ?Construction and implementation of a mobile prototype; The Lovebomb? originates from doctoral candidates Rebecca Hansson and Tobias Skog from PLAY Research Group at the Interactive Institute in Gothenburg. The object of the master thesis is to construct two working LoveBomb prototypes, one mother console belonging to the LoveBomb and blueprints for both. The LoveBomb (the picture to the right shows a possible design) is intended to encourage people to express themselves emotionally when situated amongst strangers in public spaces. Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka vilka motiv utifrån Self-Determination Theory (SDT) som är främst förekommande samt vilken intensitet och frekvens gymmotionärer har till att motionera. Detta har undersökts genom självskattningsformulär där instrumenten Goal Content for Exercise Questionnaire (GCEQ) och Godin Leisure Time Exercise Questionnaire(GLTEQ) har använts. Deltagarna för studien (n=164) bestod av både män (n=82)och kvinnor (n=82) i fyra ålderskategorier yngrevuxna, vuxna, äldre vuxna och äldre. Resultatet visar att inre målorienteringar är starkare motiv än yttre för ökad motionsintensitet och frekvens. Resultatet visar även att män har en högre frekvens än kvinnor inom ansträngande motion.

Denna uppsats handlar om bildsamtal med förskolebarn, där de pratar om sina egna bilder samt konstnärers verk. Syftet med undersökningen är att jag vill veta hur sådana samtal kan te sig i praktiken.Som metod vid undersökningen har jag använt mig av en kvalitativ undersökning genom bildsamtal. Detta för att det inte är det man vet eller tror sig veta innan som är viktigast, utan det är erfarenheterna man får genom undersökningen som är väsäntligt. Detta visar två olika former av bildsamtal där samtal om konstbilder är det ena och samtal om barnens egna bilder är det andra.Slutligen kan man se att de abstrakta konstbilderna gav mer i tolkningarna vad det gäller barnens fantasi. När barnen berättade om sina egna bilder kunde de berätta om dem på ett sätt som gav innehållet mening.Nyckelord: Bild, förskola, konst, samtal.

The Iron Age cemetery at Tuna in Badelunda parish, Västmanland, is a complex and unique burial ground used for only 69 graves during a period of roughly 700 years, between 300 - 1050 AC. The individuals buried at Tuna show an impressive variety of gravegods as well as stonesettings formed above the grave. Who where these people that were cremated at Tuna, among the mysterious women in the boats and the rich women in grave X? As we study the graves of the cremated individuals we reach a new understanding of the cemetery; from its social structure down to every individual. Through the analysis of the stonesettings, gravegods and bones we see a how these subjects, when analysed, show a picture of the individuals and social structure of the cemetery.

Current technology offers many possibilities for remotecommunication. Denna avhandling tar upp filmmusiken i Fantastic Mr. Fox.Syftet är mer specifikt att ta reda på vad musiken har för funktion i filmen, hur man använder musiken för att hjälpa till att föra fram handlingen och varför använder man sig av både egen komponerad musik och redan befintlig musik.Urvalet av låtar är grundat på hur stor betydelse de har för samspelet mellan musik och bild.Metoden som är använd är ett närstuderande, eller snarare ett närlyssnande, av musiken i filmen med hjälp av teoretisk grund i tidigare forskning och litteratur.Texten behandlar dels de låtar som är specifikt komponerade för filmen och dels de som är tagna utifrån, det vill säga redan befintlig musik, som har använts i filmen.Genom en diskussion utrönas också det olika musikala beståndsdelarnas viktigare element där diskussionen utmynnar i en jämförelse mellan de två musikala huvudgrupperna, det vill säga de sammanställda (de redan befintliga) låtarna och de sammansatta (de speciellt komponerade) låtarna.Avhandlingen slutar med att diskutera olika metoder man kan använda sig av för att studerna musiken i Fantastic Mr. Fox och även att förklara resultaten i analysen mer djupgående..

This paper deals with the question of why companies choose to go on trade fairs and exhibition examines how the media works. The essay's main focus is on stand contractors and why those hired to produce other company stands. The study is based on three interviews, a visit to a trade fair and a questionnaire survey. Together with the relevant literature is given a clear picture of how companies are thinking in their choice of attending the fairs, but also why stand contractors are involved in the process. We concluded that some companies do not know why they participate in fairs and many feel compelled to contribute to not be forgotten in the market.

This thesis concerns partial discharges in stator windings and the possibility of analyzing data using statistical methods. Partial discharges, or PD, are a physical phenomenon in which discharges occur locally due to large electric fields. PD can occur in or adjacent to the insulation of stator windings and causes breakdown of the insulating materials. PD measurement can provide an idea of how widespread the PD activity is. A technique to measure and analyze PD that has become very popular over the last few decades is phase resolved PD patterns.

Background: The population of the world is getting older and in the year of 2020, 1.2 billion people will be 60 years or older. A common health complaint affecting the quality of life in elderly persons are sleep difficulties. Physical activity is claimed to improve sleep quality and the maintenance of a normal circadian rhythm. Several studies have shown positive effects of physical activity on sleep quality, still the evidence of physical activity as sleep-promoter is insufficient. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate associations between physical activities and sleep quality in persons ?60 years of age.

Adolescensutvecklingen är en känslig period, då övergången från att vara ett beroende barn till att bli en självständig vuxen skall äga rum. Under denna kritiska process sker identitetsutveckling och strävan efter att vara oberoende föräldrar ökar. År 2013 rapporterades att cirka 50000 personer i Sverige har typ 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) och statistik pekar på en ständig ökning av sjukdomen. T1DM är en ämnesomsättningssjukdom som kännetecknas av brist på hormonet insulin. Sjukdomen behandlas med insulin, kost och motion och kräver dessutom regelbundenhet och daglig egenvård.

The purpose of the study was to examine what methods and strategies individuals use to maintain their weight loss. Another aim was to explore which factors can complicate or simplify weight loss maintenance. Fifty-four individuals who had maintained their weight loss more than a year, participated by answering a questionnaire. The questionnaire was constructed and distributed through the internet. The answers were registered in the program google docs.  The participants mentioned successful methods and strategies, such as exercising regularly, the majority exercised 30 minutes at least five times per week.
