Title: Teaching environment and teachers. A study of how music education philosophies influence instrumental teaching and learning at a community music school. Question of the research: Which Music philosophical ideas can be traced in the instrumental teaching of a community music school? Two teachers and their students have been videotaped. Data from the tapes and from interviews with the teachers and students have been analyzed by means of a category system, which grew out of the theoretical overview.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how different kinds of information seekers are evaluating information quality in the information flow online. To address the problem stated, qualitative interviews were carried out with a librarian as a reference person and a group consisting of journalists and scientists. The result of the study implies that the reference person is well aware of the strategies employed by her in the search process. However, the respondents are not aware of the strategies they are actually using. An explanation is the respondents lack of education in information seeking.

Bakgrund: i Sverige har ungefär fyra procent av befolkningen diabetes. Vid behandling av diabetes (typ-2) är målet att minska risken för komplikationer. Detta kan göras med hjälp av livsstilsförändringar (kost, motion) eller/och farmakologisk behandling. Riskfaktorer för komplikationer är högt blodtryck och höga blodfetter. Komplikationer kan ge mikro- och makrovaskulära förändringar i till exempel ögon, njurar respektive hjärta och blodkärl.

The area of Lycksabäcken northwest of Lycksele is a national interest of natural conservationbecause of its geological values with many unique landforms. Many of these landforms indicatethat the deglaciation process in the area was very complex. However, the deglaciation process inthe area has not previously been fully understood. The aim is to add to the knowledge of theevents that took place during the last deglaciation. To do this, the glaciofluvial landforms in thearea were mapped by studying aerial photographs with a Wild Aviopreter and a five-day fieldinventory of key areas for the interpretation.

Bakgrund: Att åldras medför ofta en naturlig begränsning av aktiviteter. I alla kommuner i Sverige skall socialnämnderna verka för att gruppen äldre människor får behålla sin självständighet under trygga förhållanden och ha en aktiv och meningsfull tillvaro i gemenskap med andra. Äldres livskvalitet påverkas av att ha ett socialt nätverk och delta i aktiviteter. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva samband mellan socialt nätverk och levnadsvanor hos äldre. Metod: Studien bygger på datamaterial ur SNAC (The Swedish National Study on Aging and Care) som är en pågående studie.

A water treatment unit consisting of two aeration basins, two settling tanks, a residence basinand a horizontal subsurface flow wetland were used to treat wastewater from an eggprocessing factory in Brazil. The aim of this paper was to determine the efficiency of thesystem in reducing nitrogen, phosphorus, BOD5 and TSS (among other parameters) andgetting a further understanding on different kinds of constructed treatment wetlands as well astheir nitrogen and phosphorus removal processes. The wastewater from the factory consistedof process water from manufacturing and water used for cleaning, no stormwater or sewagewater entered the system. Tests were taken three times a month from October 2013 ?til April2014.

The future climate of Sweden is expected to become warmer in the future. This would be beneficial for vineyards and may lead to a greater area being allocated for wine production. The environmental impact concerning eutrophication from Swedish vineyards has not been evaluated before. In this study nutrient balances are constructed for four Swedish vineyards with the goal to estimate the out and in flows of nutrient in the systems for the year 2010. Interviews with focus on farming practices undertaken during the year are conducted with the farmers.

This thesis analyzes how homonationalist and heteroactivist discourses are reproduced in the Sweden Democrats political communication between 2022 and 2025. Drawing on critical discourse analysis, the study examines a selection of key texts, including two Almedalen speeches by the party leader Jimmie ?kesson (2022, 2024), an extraction from a report produced by the party, and a parliamentary motion. The study is theoretically grounded in scholarship on homonationalism, heteroaktivism and populist radical right nationalism. It investigates how gender, sexuality and religion are discursively mobilized to define national belonging and construct boundaries between ?us? and ?the other?.

PROFINET är en öppen standard för industriellt Ethernet, som uppfyller alla behov inom automation. PROFINET gör det möjligt att koppla in det befintliga fältbussystemet, till exempel PROFIBUS utan att det behöver ändras, genom ett så kallat proxy. PROFINET finns i två utförande PROFINET IO och PROFINET CBA, där IO är en decentral lösning och CBA är en komponentbaserad lösning. PROFINET använder sig av tre olika kommunikationskanaler för att skicka och ta emot data. Detta gör att företag successivt kan gå över till PROFINET utan större omkostnader som det skulle innebära om hela anläggningen skulle behöva byggas om.

This is a qualitative study with a reflexive approach. The aim of this masters thesis is to describe how the internal information is managed in Borås Theatre and Borås Public Library related to the internal flow of information within the organisations according to descriptions of different units, staff and work tasks. Ten qualitative semi-structured interviews with employees at the Theatre and the Library have been conducted. The organisations have been studied separately. The interviews are presented according to six categories presented in the theory chapter as a result of the study.

Inom film- och tv-produktion finns ett behov av att kunna plocka ut motiv från en filmsekvens och placera dem över en ny bakgrund. Tekniken kallas ?chroma keying?, och att med hjälp av chroma keying lägga ihop flera bilder till en kallas för ?compositing?. After Effects är ett kommersiellt standardverktyg inom industrin för motion graphics (rörlig grafik) och visuella effekter. Blender, ett program släppt som öppen källkod (fri), innehåller verktyg för att uföra chroma keying och compositing.

The most important conclusion of this study is that the negotiations between the parties ends when conflicts arise from property owners, and with this the time will be extended and be more costly. During the study it has been shown that good communication is the key to an effective and successful negotiation between the parties.The purpose of this study is to investigate how the practical procedure under expropriation is in relation to the legal text, in other words, describe and analyze the procedure for expropriation under current rules but also to explain how it operated in practice. This is to get a picture of how the process works and what effects it receives.Three methods were used for the study. A literature review for understanding how expropriation relates according to the law. A case study from an ongoing expropriation in Sundsvall municipality, and an interview with seven affected interested parties from the expropriation.Reviewed literature describes how the application of the Expropriation Act must go to as well as other research on the topic.

At Forsmark nuclear power plant the rather old-fashioned software COPTA is used in containment safety analysis. There exists a desire within the organisation to introduce a more modern software with ability to more detailed modeling and increased usability.The goal of this thesis was to evaluate the software APROS in containment safety analysis. APROS models describing one of the containments at Forsmark NPP have been developed. Two simulations of typical containment incidents, one of them a large pipe break, have been made where containment safety parameters such as pressure and temperature are studied. Results are analyzed and verified against results from corresponding COPTA models.

Studien syftar till att undersöka vilka erfarenheter personalen på Gärdin & Persson AB har av företagets anordnade friskvårdsaktiviteter. Aktiviteterna innefattar främst tider i en sporthall, interna motionstävlingar samt ett friskvårdsbidrag på 2000 kronor om året per anställd. Genom intervjuer med 10 anställda på företagets varuhus i Östersund och Strömsund sammanställdes ett material rörande informanternas uppfattningar av motionsaktiviteter. Detta material har sedan bearbetats och tre områden har framträtt som vi anser ringar in kärnan av de framkomna åsikterna. Dessa områden är deltagande, motivation och gemenskap.

Övervikt och fetma är i dag ett snabbt ökande hälsoproblem i Sverige och övriga världen, framförallt bland barn och ungdomar. En betydande orsak till att övervikten i Sverige ökat är en felaktigt sammansatt kost och att vi blivit fysiskt inaktiva i allt större omfattning. Genom att motivera barn och ungdomar att delta i fysiska aktiviteter och äta hälsosammare kan positiva hälsokonsekvenser uppnås. Syftet var att undersöka kost- och motionsvanor bland elever i skolår 9, samt jämföra hur flickor respektive pojkar kan motiveras till bra kost- och motionsvanor. Vi valde att genomföra en enkätundersökning på elever i skolår 9 i Kristianstads kommun, där sammanlagt 235 elever besvarade enkäten.
