Många människor faller in i ohälsosamma livsstilsmönster som kan vara svåra att ta sig ur. Bristande hälsa kan ofta relateras till felaktig kost, för lite motion och/eller sömnstörningar. För att göra en förändring kan det vara nödvändigt med professionell hjälp, där motiverande samtal kan vara en användbar metod. Syftet med vår litteraturstudie var att undersöka möjligheter med och effekter av motiverande samtal vid livsstilsförändringar, främst beträffande kost, motion och sömn, samt att undersöka sjuksköterskans möjlighet att använda sig av denna metod. För att få svar på syftet har vi granskat 16 vetenskapliga artiklar beträffande motiverande samtal, kost och motion.

The purpose of this report is to survey Swedex AB?s production costs and to gather all info into a manageable calculation tool. This was made by time and motion studies, interviews of the personnel. All factors were gathered into an Excel chart.The calculation was made according to an additional-charge-method that was considered to satisfy Swedex AB?s goal.

Driving simulators are a very important part of the research that is done at VTI. Enhancing the realism and creating a better driving experience in the simulators are very important and an ongoing work process for the engineers and researchers who work with the simulators. This project has been done as a part of this developing process and the purpose is to enhance the realism of the rear-view mirrors.Simulating realistic rear-view mirrors has been demanded, not only from the researchers at VTI, but also from car and truck manufacturers. To achieve a realistic mirror view a method to measure and parameterize real mirrors has been developed. The code for the existing graphics system has also been redone to be able to handle the new types of mirrors introduced..

TitelPåverkar kost och motion skolprestation?En enkätundersökning om gymnasieungdomars uppfattning om sambandet mellan regelbunden fysisk aktivitet, kostvanor och skolresultat.Syfte och frågeställningar Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på gymnasieungdomars uppfattning om sambandet mellan fysisk aktivitet, kost och skolresultat.Vi vill ta reda på i vilken utsträckning ungdomar upplever att deras skolresultat påverkas av regelbunden fysisk aktivitet och regelbundna kostvanor. Med undersökningen vill vi även ta reda på hur gymnasieungdomar uppfattar att skolan bidragit till kunskap om regelbundenfysisk aktivitet och kost.MetodData i denna studie fick vi genom att genomföra en semikvantitativ enkätstudie bland 100 gymnasieungdomar i årskurs tre på samhällsvetenskapliga programmet i två olika skolor i Västra Götaland. Materialet sammanställdes, kodades och bearbetades statistiskt i statistikprogrammet SPSS.Resultat Majoriteten uppfattar att regelbunden fysisk aktivitet och regelbundna kostvanor påverkar dem på så sätt att de; mår bättre, orkar mer, sover bättre och koncentrerar sig bättre. Däremot så visar studien på att knappt fyra av tio av gymnasieungdomarna uppfattar att det finns ett samband mellan regelbunden fysisk aktivitet, regelbundna kostvanor och deras skolresultat.

Center of rotation and the axis of rotationof a joint are fundamental parameters in motion analysis. However,the ability to create individualized analysis is limited by the lack ofaccuracy when these parameters are calculated.

This thesis work has been performed at Volvo Aero Corporation in Trollhättan, at the department of ?hot structures? involving aircraft engine GP7000. The purpose with the study was to investigate the possibility to reduce size of the forging of flanges on the rear turbine frame when purchasing. Thereto examine the parameters that affect the flanges motion during the manufacturing process. The goal was to provide Volvo Aero with foundation to later bring in slimmed forgings.

This report describes the work and the results found when comparing three different 3d modeler applications. The programs are 3ds Max, Maya and Cinema 4D. The comparisons focus on the possibilities/the amount of freedom these programs interface offer to its plugins. The comparisons are made from the point of view of a tool for creating animations developed as a plugin for these modelers. This plugins demands on the system it is loaded into have been analyzed and from the results of this analysis a template have been created.

Diabetes typ 2 är idag en stor välfärdssjukdom i världen som förväntas öka. Med livsstilsförändringar hos patienter med typ 2 diabetes kan sjukdomen förhindras och motverkas så att medicinering och komplikationer kan minska. Kunskap finns om allmännyttan av hälsosammare kost-och motionsvanor men trots denna kunskap finns det personliga omständigheter som hindrar patienter till att genomföra dessa förändringar. Syftet är att belysa hur patienter med eller i hög risk för typ 2 diabetes upplever livsstilsförändringar med fokus på kost och motion. Studien är en litteraturstudie som bygger på analys av nio kvalitativa artiklar.

Visualization is a rapidly growing area of computer graphics. Due to the very progressive development of computer technology and especially 3D-graphic boards yesterdays imagination of visualizations, today is a reality. At Saab Bofors Dynamics in Linköping missile systems are developed. Through the development, different subsystems are simulated before the manufacturing starts. The results of these simulations have to be visualized to get a meaning.

ABSTRACTBackground: On behalf of the Orthopedic clinic, Västerås, a study has been conducted with focus on comparing the results after conservative and surgical treatment due to complete achillestendon rupture.Aim: To compare results when testing the active and passive range of motion, calf muscle endurance, estimation of pain related to the achillestendon and self-efficacy to be physically active for individuals who have undergone conservative or surgical treatment after complete achillestendon rupture.Method: 14 individuals afflicted by complete achillestendon rupture in 2010 were recruited as a purposive sample. Examination were conducted of: Ankle range of motion with a goniometer, calf muscle endurance through a toe-raise test, estimation of pain intensity related to the achillestendon by VAS and self-efficacy to be physically active through ?Exercise self-efficacy scale?. P-value and the median were calculated.Result: The results of ankle range of motion and calf muscle endurance were based on the difference between the injured and the healthy side. When testing active plantarflexion the conservative group had a median of 4 ? and the surgical group had a median of 10 ?.

Bakgrund. Runt om i världen är det ca 383 miljoner människor som lever med diabetes. Arbetet med att ändra kost- och motionsvanor är en utmaning för de flesta. Det är inte alltid lätt att anpassa de nya rutinerna till vardagslivet, som att äta på fasta tider och äta mindre av ohälsosam mat. Därför är det viktigt att sjuksköterskan och patienten tillsamman arbetar mot en hälsosammare livsstil.

Depression och psykisk ohälsa är idag ett stort hälsoproblem. Trots att motionens positiva hälsoeffekter är välkända är det få inom sjukvården som använder fysisk aktivitet som  kompletterande behandling vid depressionstillstånd. Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att identifiera och beskriva personalens erfarenhet och syn på fysisk aktivitet som en del av den psykiatriska omvårdnaden vid depressionstillstånd. Studien var en kvalitativ studie med strukturerande fokusgrupp intervjuer som analyserades med hjälp av innehållsanalys där ett huvudtema; Att ha kunskap och idéer men att inte få till det, två teman och sju subteman utgjorde resultatet. Resultatet från studien visade att vårdpersonalen upplevde att det var bättre förr då det var en mer strukturerad tillvaro med motion och planerade aktiviteter på varje avdelning som patienterna skulle delta i.

The aim with this thesis is to develop a plugin; Lovefish, for the purpose of allowing non-realistic renderings (NPR) for visualisation in Newtek Lightwave3D. The main purpose with Lovefish is to offer textured tones, something that has not been offered before by any previously existing shader for Lightwav3D. The textured tones are a substantially widening of what is possible to imitate in the field of classical art techniques. Among others has a number of SIGGRAPH papers has been the foundation and a source of inspiration for what has been achieve in this project. Further has this thesis treated a number of questions: what is non-photorealistic rendering is and how it works; an overview of the Lightwave3Ds software development kit (SDK)..

Syftet med vårt examensarbete är att vi vill undersöka och försöka förstå de samband som vi menar finns mellan elevernas lärande och deras kostvanor. För att eleverna i dagens skola skall må bra och kunna prestera bra krävs att flera yttre faktorer fungerar. Kost, motion och sömn är några av de yttre faktorer som påverkar eleverna. För att nå syftet har vi använt metoden enkät, där 225 elever deltagit. Den litteratur som presenteras belyser kostvanor. Vi tar också upp lite om behovsteorier, motion och sömn i litteraturen. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att en stor del av eleverna äter regelbundet frukost och skollunch.
