Denna studie undersöker huruvida Momentumstrategier applicerat på OMXS30 under perioden2004-01-01 till och med 2009-06-30 genererar riskjusterad överavkastning vid jämförelse medmarknadsindexet OMXS All-share. Detta görs med en teoretisk grund i modern portföljteori, deneffektiva marknadshypotesen samt CAPM. Momentumstrategierna prövas genom attinledningsvis rangordna de aktier som ingår i OMXS30 efter historisk avkastning under deföregående sex månaderna. Därefter sätts portföljer samman enligt en strategi innehållande treaktier och en strategi innehållande tio aktier. Båda strategierna med en investeringshorisont på sexmånader.

Background: The value of stock recommendations have been debated for a century andthe debate has escalated since Alfred Cowles (1933) published his research in ?Can StockMarket Forecasters Forecast?? As of late, savings in stocks has increased and the householdsare managing their savings more actively. The consequence of the increased interestin stocks has resulted in a growing market for stock recommendations. Not just financialmedia but daily newspapers have embraced this new found interest, hence stock recom-mendations can be found in almost all large newspapers in Sweden. Furthermore, this phe-nomenon has also lead to intensified research within stock recommendations.

A method for measuring the total impulse from a multi hole diesel injector, introduced inprevious thesis work, ?Development of a method and a device for measuring the Momentumrate of fuel sprays?, by Mikael Lindström, has been further developed and tested. The conceptis to simultaneously deflect all sprays from a multi hole diesel injector by using a bell shapeddeflector. The fuel sprays are deflected straight down from their initial umbrella angle, andthe resulting deflection force is measured in a thin strained section of the load cell. The strainis given by three strain gauges, with quarter-bridge circuitry for each gauge.

Clarice Lispectors is one of Latin Americas most famous writers, and she wrote a number of books during her lifetime. Her novel Stream of Life (Água viva), which came out in 1973 and was translated into Swedish in 2007, is considered to be one of Lispectors most difficult texts to read. It consists of several fragments put together into one text; however the text has no traditional narrative or structure. It is the flow of moments that moves the text forward, as it is written down by the protagonist in the book.The primary aim of this essay is to examine how the protagonist in Stream of Life through different means, as the moment, the description, the word and the variations, creates an active participation in the formation of its identity. I will discuss the moment and its act of constructing the book?s circular structure, which is of importance.

Denna rapport beskriver arbetet med att designa och utveckla en plattform för simulering ochutvärdering av olika tradingsystem.Det viktigaste kravet som sattes upp i examenarbetets förstudie var att åstakomma en flexibel ochutbyggbar grunddesign för att man vid senare tillfälle ska kunna uttöka systemet vartefter behov avmer funktionalitet uppstår i en snabbt föränderlig finansiell värld. Vidare skulle Microsofts allrasenaste teknik användas.Resultatet blev systemet Trader som är en modulbaserad applikation med tydliga riktlinjer för hurmoduler ska laddas, skapas, initieras samt hur de kommunicerar med varandra utan överflödigaberoenden. Vägen dit gick via inlärning av diverse designmönster och designprinciper. Omfattandeanvändning av händelser och kommandon för kommunikation mellan olika moduler samtprogrammerandet mot interface istället för konkreta objekt i alla lägen gav få beroenden och enflexibel och utbyggbar grunddesign.Trader kan koppla upp sig mot börsen för att hämta kursdata. Denna data kan sedan användas för attutvärdera hur olika tradingsystem skulle ha presterat i olika tidsintervall.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the networks of interlocking directors in the 50 largestSwedish companies on the Stockholm Stock Exchange during the years 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005and 2010 and seek explanations for the observed developments.Our findings indicate that the density and concentration of the network has decreased during thefirst ten-year period and stayed constant during the second period. The development of theoverall network is not consistent throughout all corporate groups. Most notablyHandelsbankssfären seems to experience increased density and connectivity whileWallenbergsfären is experiencing the reverse.The changes during the first ten-year period is deemed to come mainly from changes inregulations pertaining to both the opening for international capital investments as well as looserrestrictions on domestic capital investments. These changes have caused decreased concentrationof ownership, as well as the emergence of new owners, which is reflected in the board ofdirectors.During the second ten-year period the changes are more pertaining to the individual boards andboard members, without flowing through into the overall network. Our findings indicate thatthese changes are caused by the increased professionalization of boards and board work, whichhas gained Momentum through the creation of the Swedish Corporate Governance Code..

Denna undersökning har till syfte att belysa vilka hinder och möjligheter det finns för pedagoger på fritidshem att inkludera barn med neuropsykiatriska funktionsnedsättningar som läser enligt Lgr 11 (Skolverket 2011). Genom undersökningen exponeras vilka hinder och möjligheter pedagoger stöter på i sitt dagliga arbete. Har de kunskaper om anpassningar för barn med neuropsykiatriska funktionsnedsättningar( NPF)? Får de det stöd och den fortbildning från ledningen som behövs för att jobba inkluderande?Metoden som använts är en kvantitativ studie med kvalitativa inslag i form av en webbenkät med frågor av olika struktureringsgrad för att få så mycket information som möjligt. Sedan har resultatet bearbetats och analyserats med hjälp av den sociokulturella teorin och Antonoivskys KASAM teori.Arbetet ger en kort allmän översikt kring fritidshemmet och barn i behov av stöd, en beskrivning av vilka funktionsnedsättningar som  undersökningen   avser samt vilka anpassningar pedagoger kan använda sig av på fritidshemmet.Resultatet visar att det finns en avsevärd kunskap kring NPF ute på fritidshemmen men det efterfrågas mer utbildning och resurser.

The purpose of this study is to examine certain aspects of work with men who use violence in intimate relationships. In a Government bill in late 90s the Government presented its action plan on what is expected to be done in each municipality, but investigations show that the work is stationary. 46 percent of the men, who are in treatment, choose to cancel it. We wanted to find out how society will meet up with men who use violence in their intimate relationship and how to go about in the meeting. Those who lead us to the answers in this qualitative method are three social workers and a therapist who has the task of helping these men. The study is based on interviews from three municipalities in southern Sweden, the municipalities made ??as in between 30-60 000 residents and businesses are startups; theoldest has been in operation for five years.The results showed that they had chosen to put these activities under the sections of the Social Services but is counted as a separate project, as the driving force may apply for funding via the County Council.

The aim of this study is to go into depth and analyze the identity ?immigrant? (invandrare) and how it is constituted in Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet and Sydsvenska Dagbladet. An investigation (SOU 2006:21) by Swedish authorities concludes that immigrants are portrayed in an unfavorable way in Swedish media, whilst Gunnar Sandelin in a debate article in Sweden?s biggest morning newspaper (Dagens Nyheter) meant that Swedish media lies about immigrants, creating an image of them that is too favorable that is not in touch with reality. This gives this thesis Momentum to further investigate the identity immigrants are given in Swedish media.The theory and method used in this thesis is Laclau?s and Mouffe?s discourse theory.

When farm animals are transported there are several factors that can affect their welfare. If the vehicle has an accident the welfare of the animals transported will probably be compromised. The aim of this study was to make a survey of accidents with animal transportation vehicles in Sweden. The survey included the number of accidents from January 2000 to May 2014, the cause of the accidents and how the animal welfare was affected by the accident. The authorities which were likely to have reports about accidents involving animal transports were contacted. There were no collected records about transportation accidents and the authorities referred to eachother for information.

Over the past two decades, trends of integration processes in terms of citizens of different ethnicities, different gender and different sexual belongings, etc. has grown thanks to debates and new legislations. A marginalized and discriminated group in society such as women, immigrants, homosexuals, transsexuals and people with disabilities during this time has gained Momentum in the community. The curiosity over whether these developments have changed our attitudes and values to the world around us, and if so how, is the reason for this master's thesis in disability studies.The Swedish development forms the basis for my belief on a younger generation of people who would be more tolerant than previous generations, in terms of what is considered to belong to the norm in our society, or not. The purpose of this study is therefore to increase knowledge about what beliefs young people today have about people with disabilities.

Urbana enbostadshus såsom, stadsradhus och townhouses, har på senare år blivit en alltmer populär bebyggelsetyp hos såväl efterfrågan som utbud på bostadsmarknaden. Denna typologi härstammar i traditionella urbana strukturer och har en hög grad av arkitektonisk variation som ett resultat av att många olika aktörer varit involverade i byggandet.Idag finns indikationer på en stor vilja till personligt utformade bostäder. Trots det är nyproduktionen av bostäder ofta standardiserad och plan- och byggnadsprocessen erbjuder få möjligheter att påverka bostädernas utformning. Teoretiskt erbjuder urbana enbostadshus goda möjligheter för privatpersoner att bygga sina egna hus och därmed en hög grad av personlig utformning.I denna uppsats studeras tre projekt med urbana enbostadshus som nyligen genomförts i tre olika städer. Studien berör små aktörers delaktighet och möjlighet att påverka plan- och byggprocessen samt diskuterar för- och nackdelar hos de strukturer som skapats.Slutsatserna är att möjligheterna till deltagande har varit relativt små i de tre projekten.

Two teachers in two schools were interviewed and two focus groups of five students each were interviewed. One school is located north of Stockholm and the other one east of Stockholm. The interviews were recorded with a cellphone and transcribed.

This study presents a methodology that enables the annual average power of a wind turbine to be increased by automatically optimizing it?s airfoil, twist and chord dis- tribution. As a part of the study the software SiteOpt has been developed. This software connects the open source software XFOIL with the blade element momen- tum theory. XFOIL gives lift and drag coefficients which enable the blade element Momentum theory to predict the power of a wind turbine at different wind and ro- tational speeds.
