In modern leadership research, leadership is often viewed as a social construction, and under this paradigm various researchers let the media play a central role in constructing leadership. Meanwhile, the question of how the media actors do this is left unanswered. We explore the question of how and why the media construct leadership, from the vantage point of the media actors themselves, and the conditions they work under. Different mechanisms for media construction of leadership are identified in previous research. Through interviews with business journalists at Veckans Affärer, we find recognition for some of the explanatory mechanisms: namely that personification of a CEO facilitates the work of journalists (and sells papers), that personal drama captures reader demand, and that the CEO of a listed company consciously cultivates his or her personal parallel self.

Projektet skulle ha släktdrag från produkter som företaget redan hade på marknaden. The organic farmland is increasing all the time and the goal is that 15 % of the Swedish farmland will be in organic production in year 2010. The organic production needs new and more effective ways to control weeds, and there is the row harrowing coming as a good complement to the conventional weed harrowing. In this experiment is weed harrowing whit different row spaces and row harrowing with a spacing of 25 cm compared. Then are the weed picked and the weight taken of them. The yield is compared in the 7 different ways of treatment. The results is not showing any significant differences in yield even when the row spacing is 25 cm instead of 12,5 cm. Even the spring wheat that is a sensitive crop and has bad tillering is doing well in this experiment. Now with modern technology where the row harrow is controlled by a camera that making the row harrow to follow the rows is it the soil coverage of the crop that is the limit for the speed. Föreliggande uppsats har utförts under våren 2008 och utgör examensarbete på socionompro-grammet. Vi som författat studien har läst utbildningen med fördjupning mot verksamhets-ledning. Syftet med studien är att belysa enhetschefens arbetssituation utifrån sina möjligheter att på-verka sitt arbete nuvarande och framtida arbete inom äldreomsorgen utifrån boende- och om-sorgsaspekter.I studien har vi använt en kvalitativ metodik, med en narrativ intervjumetod utifrån ett slump-mässigt urval. Den empiriska studien utgörs av det material som framkommit vid intervjuer med respondenter som tjänstgör som enhetschefer inom äldreomsorgen. Av intervjumaterialet har fem teman vaskats fram som vi ser har relevans till uppsatsens syfte och frågeställning, nämligen boende, omsorg, organisationskultur, ramar och ledarskap.

Computer based information systems play an important role in modern military combat vehicles. The crew needs to be able to quickly get information about both the vehicle and its outer surroundings in order to quickly make the correct decisions. In this report, we describe the development of a prototype new information system for the BvS10 vehicle, manufactured by BAE System Hägglunds AB in Örnsköldsvik.An important aspect of the system is the time it takes from the point that the information is generated by the vehicle sensors until it is presented to the user. The system must be able to ensure that it never displays information that is out of date. Thus, it is important to create a layer and component based architecture for the solution, making it possible to control, in detail, the information?s age as it moves through the system.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the Swedish industry- and craftmanship trade, specifically the relationship between effort and reward and how it affects the meaningfulness during labour hours. Also, what are the possible effects on production efficiency as a whole? Discussed and analyzed through empirics and previous research.38 workers filled out a survey and two interviews were conducted to get a more analytic depth to the data.The results showed that there is little to no reward for high effort during labour hours on the evaluated workplaces, combined with low commitment and meaningfullness. My conclusions are that more ways of effort-based rewards would likely have a positive effect on meaningfulness and thereby the production as a whole. I also show that the theses of Karl Marx are still plausible and relevant in modern day industrial- and craftsmanship trades in capitalist countries..

This has been done with active field studies in which applications have been tested and also the supervisors receptive. The usability of the iPad has always been in focus since it is important that the applications are easy to use and easy to learn.The results of the work, as presented in this report, points at opportunities in efficiency if the iPad is introduced and used on construction site. There are many useful applications for the iPad, and with a system that can handle the synchronization between the iPad and the computer, the workflow will be streamlined significantly..

Under 1990-talet accelererade avvecklingen av det fasta kustartilleriet. Det skedde samtidigt med implementeringen av Revolution in Military Affairs(RMA)-konceptet i Sverige, snabb militärteknisk utvecklingen och Försvarsmaktens omställning från en stor organisation med lång mobilisering till insatsförsvar med hög beredskap. Syftet med studien är att med hjälp av argumentationsanalys och kvalitativ textanalys, studera relationen mellan RMA och avvecklingen av fasta kustartilleriet, genom analys av Kungliga Krigsvetenskaps Akademiens Handlingar och Tidskrifter. Resultatet visar att fast kustartilleri spelar en viktig roll även i en värld präglad av RMA och modern teknologi. Det fasta kustartilleriet ersattes av rörligt.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att skapa en helhetsbild av vilka faktorer som låg bakom bildandet av ett lågprisflygbolag inom SAS koncernen. Det vill säga: Vad initierade SAS att starta ett lågprisflygbolag? För att kunna svara på vår frågeställning valde vi ut ett par olika inriktningar och synsätt på strategi inom modern företagsekonomi. Vi applicerade sedan dessa på företaget vi valt att studera och analyserade händelseförloppet utifrån förutsättningarna som gavs. Slutsatsen på rapporten konstaterar att det finns tre huvudanledningar bakom SAS lågprissatsning.

With the huge amount of computers connected to the Internet the IP-addresses are starting to run out. The Internet Engineering Task Force, IETF, have decided that it is about time to exchange the old 32 bits Internet protocol, Ipv4, to a more modern 128 bits protocol called Ipv6. This thesis explores the possibility to install Ipv6 in different operating systems. By testing various operating systems and by set up criteria compare them to each other we give the reader a picture of how the installation is done. We also show which operating systems to prefer if you want to use IPv6.
