Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av en mobil webbapplikation som vi utvecklat åt Tieto. Målet var att skapa en mobil version av deras redan existerande webbtjänst Edwise, som är en webbaserad lärplattform. Applikationen innehåller nyheter, schemaaktiviteter samt möjligheten att registrera studentfrånvaro. Applikationen är utvecklad i ASP.NET med programmeringsspråket C#. Vi har använt oss av arkitekturen MVC för filstrukturen och uppbyggnaden av applikationen, samt ramverket jQuery Mobile för att ge ett mobilanpassat utseende.

Examensarbetet syftar till att konstruera operatörsgränssnittet till en UGV (eng Unmanned Ground Vehicle) för mobil rekognosering i tätbebyggt område. Operatörsgränssnittet består av både mjuk- och hårdvara. Avdelningen Forestry på Consultants to Government and Industry (CGI) i Gävle utvecklar många olika programvaror som används i skogsindustrin. Med tiden har det uppstått ett behov av ett förenklat program som kan användas i mobiltelefoner. This thesis processes the work of developing CPU code and GPU code for Thomas Kaijsers algorithm for calculating the kantorovich distance and the performance between the two is compared. Initially there is a rundown of the algorithm which calculates the kantorovich distance between two images. Thereafter we go through the CPU implementation followed by GPGPU written in CUDA. Animal welfare during transport has for a long time been a problem around the world. Many animals are transported in stressful environments for slaughter. Even during Roman and Antiquity times wild animals were transported from Africa to the amusement parks in Rome. The aim of our work was to compare how well Sweden and Denmark are performing their inspections of transports of cattle and pigs for slaughter. Today, overloaded transports and poor treatment is not uncommon in Europe and every year 22 million animals are transported between countries.
