En trend i den teknologiska utvecklingen på senare tid har varit att skapa en ökad rörlighet hos användaren. En bidragande faktor till detta är den snabba förbättringstakten hos de smartphones som i större utsträckning har funktionalitet som tidigare endast datorer hade. Detta har i sin tur förändrat de förväntningar slutanvändarna har på tjänsters tillgänglighet, vilket har lett till att produktiva mobila applikationer, appar, har funnit sin plats i vardagen.Denna studie är genomförd på Scanias Fleet Management-avdelning som erbjuder en webbaserad tjänst där åkerier kan administrera, övervaka och följa upp sina fordonsflottor. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om en förlängning av Scanias existerande webbtjänst till den mobila sfären är rätt steg att ta och vilka organisatoriska och tekniska utmaningar en ingång inom apputveckling ger upphov till. För att bemöta denna problematik har en omfattande kvalitativ undersökning genomförts där tre huvudgrupper av respondenter har intervjuats: jämförbara företag som har ställts inför liknande utmaningar, apputvecklingsföretag som har förståelse för appområdet samt Fleet Management-tjänstens existerande användare.

Objective: The aim is to map sleep habits and use of communication mediumamong adolescents and to study associations between them. Method: The study isbased on a previously collected survey data among high school students (18-21 years)from a coastal town in southern Sweden.

Fazer Bageri AB has been choosen to represent a business corporation that uses handheld computers in their everyday tasks.The method used to gather information for this study has been by performing interviews and observations with key stakeholders at Fazer Bageri AB and MobiOne AB.

Rapporten beskriver funktionen och implementationen av ett mjukvarusystem utformat för att hämta och presentera data från Internetanslutna sensorer. Idén bygger på ett koncept av Jerry Lindblom vid EISLAB på Luleå tekniska universitet. Utvecklandet har skett i nära samarbete med Gema Industri AB med målet att möjliggöra användning av systemet för övervakning av elmotorer och remdrifter i industrier, men detta är bara ett av de möjliga användningsområdena. Systemet gör det möjligt för användare att skapa webbsidor som kan innehålla dynamiskt skapade grafer utifrån mätdata som tidigare insamlats från sensorer. Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av en mobil webbapplikation som vi utvecklat åt Tieto. Målet var att skapa en mobil version av deras redan existerande webbtjänst Edwise, som är en webbaserad lärplattform. Applikationen innehåller nyheter, schemaaktiviteter samt möjligheten att registrera studentfrånvaro. Applikationen är utvecklad i ASP.NET med programmeringsspråket C#. Vi har använt oss av arkitekturen MVC för filstrukturen och uppbyggnaden av applikationen, samt ramverket jQuery Mobile för att ge ett mobilanpassat utseende.

This thesis processes the work of developing CPU code and GPU code for Thomas Kaijsers algorithm for calculating the kantorovich distance and the performance between the two is compared. Initially there is a rundown of the algorithm which calculates the kantorovich distance between two images. Thereafter we go through the CPU implementation followed by GPGPU written in CUDA. Animal welfare during transport has for a long time been a problem around the world. Many animals are transported in stressful environments for slaughter. Even during Roman and Antiquity times wild animals were transported from Africa to the amusement parks in Rome. The aim of our work was to compare how well Sweden and Denmark are performing their inspections of transports of cattle and pigs for slaughter. Today, overloaded transports and poor treatment is not uncommon in Europe and every year 22 million animals are transported between countries.

The aim of this thesis is to create an online store that offers customers the ability to shop online and help the staff to operate the company in a simpler and more efficient way, which reduces the need for human resources and thus leads to less costs for the company.
