This thesis is based on design theory about how to build an application for the mobile platform, a scientific analysis and an application for grocery shopping and meal planning. The thesis also contains a valuation of the research and of the application. The valuation of the application was done by a usability test and an analysis of the results of the test.The application of the thesis has an easy navigation system, which is time saving and simple to use. Finding recipes with the associated ingredients is a quick fix. The search function can be used for searching freely after recipes as well as for separate ingredients. That makes it possible for the user to create own recipes from available ingredients.

I följande examensarbete undersöks hur kvigors utfodring påverkar marmoreringen. Under undersökningens tid har nio nötköttsproducenter intervjuats. Samtliga hade under 2011 levererat kvigor för slakt till Team Ugglarps anläggning i Hörby. Intervjufrågorna berörde främst hur producenterna hade utfodrat kvigorna, men även information om stalltyp och betesdrift noterades. Syftet med undersökningen var att få mer kunskap om hur utfodringen kan påverka köttets marmorering, samt att se om det fanns någon speciell utfodringsstrategi som ska följas för att få bra marmorering. Marmorering på nötkött påverkas av flera faktorer. Olika raser har olika egenskaper för att få bra marmorering på kött. Men även djurets ålder, kön och djurkategori påverkar marmoreringen.

Nethouse Sverige AB is an IT consultancy in need of a mobile solution to inform participants of in-house events and distribute news to their consultants working in the field. This report  describes the planning and development of such a solution. The result of this thesis is a three system-solution. A mobile application where it is possible to view news and information about in-house events, and also receive suitable notifications, a web service which assists the mobile application by providing the corresponding information and finally a website to manage the information and notify mobile clients..

Detta projekt handlar om att skapa en WiFi-accesspunkt på en dator där datatrafiktill och från applikationer på en smartphone kan avlyssnas. Första steget i projektetvar att skapa accesspunkten på en bärbar dator med Windows 7 operativsystemetoch att dokumentera tillvägagångssättet. Programmet Wireshark installerades sedanför att lyssna av internet trafiken mot en Android smartphone. Sista steget i projektetvar att mäta och tolka nätverkstrafik på ett antal populära "appar". För att på ett enkelt sätt kunna styra tillväxten hos nötkreatur i köttproduktion, framförallt under den sista tiden innan slakt, är det nödvändigt att veta vilka gränser det finns för hur snabbt en förändring i utfodringsintensitet, framförallt kraftfoderökning, kan genomföras. Ett flertal försök har visat att det är möjligt att anpassa nötkreatur till en kraftfoderbaserad diet med hjälp av ökade kraftfoderkoncentrationer under en begränsad tid. Dock riskerar djuren att drabbas av olika, framförallt subkliniska, hälsostörningar om förändringen sker för hastigt eller om fodret innehåller mycket lättsmält stärkelse. Exempel på störningar som kan uppkomma är våmacidos, trumsjuka, fång, leverbölder och löpmagsförskjutning. För att minska problemen med subklinisk våmacidos rekommenderas fullfoderutfodring ad libitum, alternativt utfodring minst två gånger per dag med små dagliga mängdvariationer samt en anpassningstid på minst två till tre veckor.

To be able to secure a safe and reliable power supply is becoming increasingly important since society depends on services and functions that need continuous power supply. The delivery rate in Swedish power supply is 99.98 % which insists on a high availability. During the past decade several storms has passed Sweden which resulted in large amount of tree felling leading to extended power outages. During these storms many socially critical activities, such as electric utility company Fortum, experienced disruption in mobile communication which affected the crisis management. This paper has investigated Swedish mobile operators? crisis management at Hi3G, Tele2 and TeliaSonera with a case study of the storm Dagmar that hit Sweden during December in 2011.

The purpose of this master thesis has been to find different solutions to the design of a headlamp with a cluster of three or possibly four high power LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). During the work, two different problems have been considered; how to design a lens in order to shape the light beam in a desirable way, and how to design a cooling system which will lower the temperature of the LEDs as efficiently as possible, still taking into account the geometry set by the optical solution as well as other given geometries. The results presented in this thesis are partly the outcome of a literature study, but derive mainly from a number of tests and measurements made on two test rigs and one concept prototype..

Studiens syfte var att genom litteraturstudier undersöka mörningsprocessen i nötkött samt studera hur vakuummörning, hängmörning samt mörning i Tublin mörningspåse påverkar nötköttets ätkvalité. Studien innefattar också intervjuer där syftet med dessa var att kartlägga vilka mörningsmetoder som idag tillämpas hos svenska småskaliga slakterier/ styckningsanläggningar. Av det nötkött som idag produceras i Sverige är variationen i kvalité stor. Konsumenten kan därför inte garanteras ett nötkött med liknande egenskaper vid varje inköpstillfälle, trots att köttet kommer från samma typ av styckningsdetalj. För att kunna konkurrera med den ökade importen av nötkött är det viktigt att svenskt kött håller hög och jämn kvalité.

Detta kandidatarbete utgår ifrån vilka aspekter som är viktiga att tänka på när man anpassar av en webbsida till en mobil enhet och de problem som uppstår när en webbsida skalas ner till en låg skärmupplösning. Vi har behandlat användarvänlighet, designprinciper, grafiska element och tekniska aspekter för att svara på problemformuleringen. Slutsatsen vi kommit fram till är ett antal punkter inom områdena ovan..

Mager är ett fiktivt gruvprojekt i planeringsfas och utvärderingar har gjort över projektet som visade att projektet är lönsamt. Boliden vill se om Mager kan stärkas ekonomiskt genom att tillämpa fullt mobil In-Pit Crushing and Conveying (IPCC). IPCC avser att förkorta ledtiden mellan grävare och kross genom att placera en kross innanför dagbrottets gränser och sköta materialtransporten ut ur gruvan med hjälp av ett transportband. Förkortningen sker antingen genom att förkorta körtiden för truckarna från grävare till kross eller genom att helt eliminera truckarna. Det finns tre stycken IPCC-system, stationär, semi-stationär samt fullt mobil IPCC.

Detta arbete har gjorts för att undersöka om det finns en möjlighet att kringgå problemet med stationära datorers strömförsörjning, vid nedstängning genom att man drar ut strömkabeln, i syftet att minimera dataförlusten ur en forensisk synvinkel. Arbetet är också till för att undersöka om det teoretiskt skulle gå att lösa problemet. När man drar ur strömkabeln ur en stationär dator kommer flyktig data att försvinna och gå förlorad vilket ur en forensisk synvinkel kan betyda förlust av bevis..

The essay is written at the request of Nyköping municipality park management by PatRadestedt who wanted a design proposal for one of the five courtyards at the Tessin Schoolin Nyköping. The Tessin School is located 2 miles from the center of Nyköping and the schoolhouses approximately 900 students. To make a design proposal for the courtyard that lies atthe canteen I decided from the outset that I wanted to take some of the Tessin SchoolStudents' opinions and wishes regarding their own outdoor spaces. I had a workshop witheight students from the arts program with the image orientation in which they had to drawand tell them what they wanted to do in the courtyard. The outcome of the workshop, Iused to move forward in my future work with a concept that fit into the environment, wethen apply it in my final design proposal.
