WM-data tillhandahåller en lösning för mobil arbetsorderhantering. Lösningen innehåller planeringsverktyg med ärenden, personal och karta och möjlighet att leverera arbetsorder till fältpersonal. Den innehåller dessutom handhållna mobilenheter, vilka fältpersonalen använder för att ta emot aktuella arbetsorder. Vissa kunder önskar ytterligare en modul i denna mobila lösning. Den nya modulen skall användas för att kontinuerligt rapportera in genomförda åtgärder i snöröjningssammanhang. Detta examensarbete går ut på att utveckla den här modulen för att registrera snöröjning respektive sandning. Applikationen exekveras på en PDA, en så kallad Pocket PC med Windows Mobile 5.0.

The Russian operation on the Crimean peninsula has been referred to as a victory enabled by the operationalization of the concept of New Generation Warfare. According to some military theorists, this concept and its operationalization cannot be characterized in terms of the traditional wars waged up to this point. It is, however, also argued that this new generation of warfare is primarily a new approach to strategy, a new way of applying traditional methods to achieve political goals. The purpose of this study is to discern whether Russia employed strategic deception in its operation in Crimea and if this is the case; what methods and principles were used and if these can be explained using a traditional view of deception. The aim of this masters thesis, based on discourse analysis and organization theory, is to study how individuals in different Swedish cultural organizations- and agencys are working with disaster preparedness.The purpose of this is to examine whether organizational structures affect different persons work, cooperation and practical application concerning disaster preparedness in collaboration with both external and internal organizations.The research shows that disaster preparedness are affected by priority issues as well as financial resources causing consequences for future work concerning this kind of issues.Another problem which is also examined and discussed in this thesis are the problematic approach to personal initiative which today is the leading operation for the organizations to deal with disaster preparedness instead of creating professional titles for the persons handles these complex issues..

The purpose of this thesis is to create opportunities for an efficient interchange of information between humans and technology, especially for the skilled user, and put the designprincipal for informative structures and features into practice. Informative structures and features in a large number of information items helps the peripheral visual system to automatically capture knowledge through logical patterns.A field experiment was done to evaluate if informative structures and features, implicate efficient human information-processing, even in a small study. The results was ambiguous because the quantitative part of the investigation didn?t show any significant differences, whereas the qualitative showed that people prefer a dynamic document with a high degree of informative structures and features over a dynamic document with a low degree of informative structures and features. Even if this study was inconsistent, probably because to few subjects where used, the implication of the research that?s behind it is solid.

I dagens allt mer globaliserade industrivärld med allt hårdare konkurrens gäller det för företag att hitta sätt med vilka de kan locka kunderna att handla av just dem. För SSAB Tunnplåt som nischat sig inom höghållfasta stålsorter finns kunder inom högteknologiska industrier vilka ofta är i framkant vad gäller effektiv produktion. Ett exempel är fordonsindustrierna där begrepp som Just In Time och Just in Sequence är vanliga, dessa produktionssätt ställer höga krav vad gäller leveranssäkerhet hos sina leverantörer vilket SSAB Tunnplåt måste kunna leva upp till. Adjustaget är det avslutande produktionsavsnittet för SSAB:s stålverk i Luleå. Hit anländer 2,1 miljoner ton stål årligen där de kvalitetskontrolleras och eventuellt efterbehandlas för att sedan lastas på tåg för vidare transport ned till Borlänge där SSAB Tunnplåt har sitt valsverk.

The final thesis named Tracking in Sensor Networks was created by the company Instrument control Sweden. The thesis work is to create a plug-in to an already developed software pro- gram, SkyView. Via the software program one should be able to control an IP-camera from AXIS, model 215 PTZ, with the appropriate protocol over a network.  An Application Programming Interface, API, was used to easily control the camera through SkyView. The interface is called VAPIX and is used to all cameras from AXIS.

The purpose of this study was to develop two types of prediction models for Scots Pine and Norway Spruce. The first type for calculation of the stump diameter under bark the year the tree reached breast height (Dstubh130). The second type for calculation of the annual difference, e.g. the number of growth years between stump height (0.2 m) and breast height (1.3 meters above ground level). The primary thought with these prediction models is to obtain the breast height age in the trees on basis of the number of annual rings at stump.

Ojämställdhet råder, framför allt inom det privata näringslivet, på chefsnivå i Sverige. Majoriteten av samtliga chefer män, endast 33 % av cheferna är kvinnor. Inom den privata sektorn är andelen kvinnliga chefer endast 25 %, medan det inom den offentliga sektorn råder det omvända; 64% av cheferna inom den kommunala sektorn är kvinnor, i landstingen är andelen 72%. Tidigare forskning har visat att de stereotypa attityder som finns avseende kvinnliga chefer påverkar kvinnors karriärmöjligheter. Föreliggande studie syftade därför till att undersöka vilka attityder som finns avseende kvinnliga chefer och om det finns någon skillnad i attityder beroende på respondentens karaktäristika.

Matvaror utgör en stor del av det genomsnittliga hushållets budget och är därmed en kostnadspost som kan göra stor skillnad i hushållets ekonomi.Detta examensarbete ska undersöka möjligheten att jämföra matvarors pris på olika affärer med hjälp av en Android-applikation och genom att fotografera texten på kvitton. Texten kommer sen processas och sorteras för att få ut nödvändig data som sen kan sparas undan i en databas. Färdiga Algoritmer och OCR-motorer har utvärderats och implementerats i applikationen direkt genom så kallade C-Bibliotek. Dessa gör det möjligt att utan större problem vidareutveckla applikationen för iOS eller Windows Phone.Projektet och Android-applikationen visar på möjligheterna att använda färdiga C-bibliotek samt telefoners kamera för att enkelt sålla ut och spara undan den informationen som är relevant för konsumentens del..

Intresset för fiske i Sveriges sjöar har blivit stort, men för att fiskevattnets tillstånd inteska försämras så behöver man värna om Sveriges sjöar bättre än i dagsläget. SverigesSportfiske- och Fiskevårdsförbund har tidigare försökt att få in rapporter på fångster avfiskarna via enkäter och via deras hemsida. Detta resulterade dock i få rapporteringar.Problemet ansågs inte ligga i viljan att rapportera då, i en undersökning, hela 90% svaradeatt de ville rapportera sin fångst. Problemet ansågs istället ligga i sättet att registrera enfångst. Detta skall förenklas genom en mobil applikation vilket ger möjlighet till att rapporterafångsten direkt på plats.
