Logistics chain from subcontractor to end customer is becoming more complex when the volume of items constantly increases to satisfy the needs of the market. From that perspective, companies had large inventories but today it is a lot of different solutions to streamline inventory management. One way that recently becomes increasingly common is to let the subcontractor fill up the customers stock using different approaches such as VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory). AbstractAs a developer of database-driven applications you will be faced with difficult choices, when it comes to choosing database, server and programming language. For the result to be satisfactory it requires the different techniques to interact well with each other and also fulfill performance expectations. This is even more important when the application is deployed to the cloud and the response time plays a major role.This paper evaluates different databases and their performance. To test the databases there was an application made in the server script language PHP or Hypertext Preprocessor and it was deployed to Windows Azure cloud platform. The test applications task is to call and load databases by controlled requests which creates, reads, updates and deletes data in an relatively large extent.The results shows that locale databases or databases in the same data center as the server generates the fastest response.

The purpose of this thesis work is to create a prototype for an augmented reality application that isaimed to support service technician when performing service and maintenance of machines andengines. The prototype will be used for investigating what technical limitations there is and toestablish basic usability for the user interface. The method that is used is user studies and analysis toevaluate use cases and user stories. An iterative work process is then applied for design and theprototype is continuously user tested.The resulting prototype uses a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 running on Android operating system. Theframework used for augmented reality is NyARToolkit which handles marker recognition andconnections to Android.

Under Swedish tax law; the general clause in the Tax Avoidance Act is a method to prevent tax evasion. The purpose of the general clause is to prevent any tax avoidance procedures that the legislator has not been able to foresee. For the general clause to be applicable, four prerequisites need to be met. This thesis analyses the fourth prerequisite based on the principle of legality. The prerequisite concludes that a determination of the tax base, based on the procedure in question, is in conflict with the purpose of the legislation.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på hur den mobila marknadsföringen via SMS kan påverka köp och varumärkeslojaliteten hos konsumenterna, det vill säga återkommande köp samt om den leder till att lojaliteten till varumärket ökar på grund av detta. Vid undersökningen använde vi oss av en kvalitativ och en kvantitativ studie. Vi skickade ut enkäter till cirka 1500 personer via mail, dessa enkäter innehöll några frågor som det fanns svarsalternativ på medan de övriga av frågorna var öppna. Frågorna behandlade den mobila marknadsföringen via SMS där de fick svara på vad de tyckte om den, om det gjort något inköp efter att ha mottagit ett reklam-SMS och om de gjort återkommande inköp. De fick även svara på om de mottagit något positivt eller negativt reklam- SMS och vad som gjorde att det var detta.
