Examensarbetet syftar till att konstruera operatörsgränssnittet till en UGV (eng Unmanned Ground Vehicle) för mobil rekognosering i tätbebyggt område. Operatörsgränssnittet består av både mjuk- och hårdvara. Till operatörsgränssnittet har ett grafiskt användargränssnitt utvecklats där tonvikten legat på användbarhet med funktionalitet för positionering med geografisk presentation och sensorpresentation. Förutom en presentationsenhet för sensorinteraktion och manövrering av farkost ingår en sändtagarenhet för kommunikation mellan operatör och farkost. Två uppsättningar av systemet levererades till försvarsmakten för användning vid metodförsöksstudier..

Examensarbetets syfte är att utforma rutiner och verktyg för att säkerställa att relevant information om allvarliga och frekventa problem når föregående processer. Den information som föregående processer tar emot ska vara av sådan karaktär att de vet vad de ska fokusera på i sitt förbättringsarbete. Strävan har varit att ta fram ett felrapporteringsverktyg där alla fel som påträffas i produktionen ska kunna gå att rapporteras in. Utifrån den datainsamling som har gjorts via sekundär- och primärdata har den information som ska rapporters in tagits fram. Felrapporteringen ska ske i en Lotus Notes databas, detta för att programmet redan finns inom SDE`s väggar.

Purpose: The purpose is to research different co-operations between venue owners and WISPs, when WLAN is deployed in a public space. The aim is to establish viable business models for the interaction between the two vital actors in the public WLAN industry. In this work, the advantages and disadvantages of revenue and cost sharing will be defined, along with technical and commercial issues that need to be resolved. Methodology: A number of case studies of the current situation have been conducted in the most attractive venues for WLAN, airports. As the public WLAN market had most widespread adoption and is most mature in the USA, case airports were chosen both there and in Scandinavia.

The aim of this thesis is to develop a new business model for district heating and cooling firms which can contribute to a stabilization of the Swedish national energy system. The business model is developed for a district heating and cooling firm and is exemplified with Fortum Heat. The theoretical investigation around the topic creates a rigid base for following qualitative empirical studies. Osterwalder?s canvas for business model generation is used together with a Casual Loop Diagram to identify a number of business opportunities which stabilizes the national energy system.

Detta examensarbete redovisar en förstudie som genomförts med målet att belysa nuvarande hantering av tjälrestriktioner inom Vägverket, utforma ett förslag till en verksgemensam metodbeskrivning och föreslå en fortsatt verksamhet inom området för att komma tillrätta med identifierade problem och utvecklingsbehov. Syftet har varit att med denna verksamhet som grund belysa vilka krav som bör ställas på en e-infrastruktur som ska stödja verksamhetsprocesser inom transportområdet.Arbetet har genomförts genom intervjuer med ansvariga för verksamheten vid Vägverkets regioner och vid Vägverkets huvudkontor. IT-frågor har diskuterats med förvaltare av olika system och med ansvariga för utvecklingsprojekt i anslutning till området. Under arbetet har ett antal dokument insamlats och studerats. Analys av verksamheten har skett med stöd av metoden Förändringsanalys enligt FA/SIMM, främst verksamhets-, problem-, mål- och styrkeanalys.

Several studies has identified the locker room experience as a potential deterrent for participation in physical education. Both psychological and physical issues arise due to several factors. Psychological issues include different kinds of verbal and physical violations, comparisons between pupils, feeling of vulnerability along with a stressful schedule. The physical environment can contribute to negative experience for pupils in terms of filthy premises and cold showers. These factors may contribute to higher absentee rates in physical education.

Background: The world of sports possesses a lot of knowledge when it comes to leadarship and coaching. Coaching as a term is relatively new to the business industry and something that is up and coming among alot of companies. Leadership and coaching are two terms that can be combined with each other both in sports and in the business industry.Objectives: This study aims to compare leadership in sports and in the business industry. The purpose is to see if they can learn from each other and how they define the term leadership.Method: Interviews were chosen as a method in this study. Six individual interviews were performed and there were three leaders from the business industry and three leaders from the world of sport participating in the study.

Personlig integritet är ett viktigt begrepp i dagens samhälle. En orsak till detta är att tekniken möjliggör insamlande och bearbetning av allt mer påträngande och detaljrik information om den enskilda individen. Syftet med forskningen var att kartlägga den enskilda individens uppfattning om sin personliga integritet. Vilken tjänst/teknik är acceptabel och vilken är alltför kränkande ur individens perspektiv? Var drar de gränsen för sin personliga integritet? Två enkäter lades ut på testplats Botnia vid olika tidpunkter.

The purpose of this thesis was to illustrate the connection between personal networks and entrepreneurial business in the music industry. It also aims to examine how and why entrepreneurs in the music industry use personal networks in their entrepreneurial business activities. In order to explore the extent to which entrepreneurs in the music industry obtain support through personal networks, a case study was conducted based on interviews with entrepreneurs in various areas of the music industry. The study has shown that entrepreneurs in the music industry clearly see distinct advantages through the use of their personal networks, especially in terms of an enhanced supply of resources and through an increased amount of business opportunities. Personal networks have also shown to constitute a considerable amount of moral support for the entrepreneurs in the development process of the entrepreneurial business.

Learning organizations and organizational development are interesting subjects that does not examine municipal organizations and private organizations an equal amount.  Furthermore, there exists little research on the effects of competence development for individuals in a leadership role within organizations. Because of this, we wanted to examine the impact of competence development in business modeling and how it affected local government activities. Competence development is used by organizations to develop their business and achieve a greater competitive advantage, but does competence development for individuals in a leadership role lead to organizational development? This paper examines competence development in the form of a business modeling course via the Bitstreamproject and the effects that occur within three municipalities as a result of the competence development. By interviewing three participants and four coworkers within different municipalities and studied the data from the Bitstream project, we can not conclude that competence development within business modeling leads to organizational development, only that it exists a tendency for it.

The role of small businesses is fundamentally important for the economic development in countries. Within this context, business incubation is used as an entrepreneurship development instrument to promote and support new firms in the early stage of their existence. However, research in the field tends to disregard the perspectives of incubatee entrepreneurs. The performed investigation is based on interviews with entrepreneurs from two different business incubators at Swedish universities. This study uses a Situated Learning Theory (SLT) as a theoretical framework, to examine the entrepreneur's experience of the learning environment in a business incubator.

Denna rapport handlar om införandet av en mobil katalogtjänst för ett svenskthögskolebibliotek, nämligen Bibliotek och lärande resurser (BLR) vid Högskolan i Borås.Syftet med denna rapport är att utreda hur införande av mobila katalogtjänster på etthögskolebibliotek kan ske, genom att studera vilka tjänster som är mest lämpliga att?mobilisera? för att ge en förbättring av bibliotekstjänster gentemot användarna. The purpose of this paper is to fill the gaps in current research on trade shows. The business-to-consumer aspect has been greatly ignored by academic theorists. We are aiming to make an exploratory study into during-show promotion practices. We will also create a continuation of the Hansen (1999) framework. In order to analyze "during-show promotion" two business-to-consumer trade shows; the ITB in Berlin and EuroHorse in Göteborg were visited.
