I denna designstudie överges dagens syn på e-postmedierad kommunikation som en linjär process. Bilden som linjära modeller ger av verkligheten är alldeles för generaliserad. Kommunikationsmodeller idag bortser från eller lägger minimal vikt på aspekter som är av betydande roll för hela kommunikationsprocessen. Syftet med denna designstudie är att utforma och evaluera en kommunikationsmodell som ska ligga till grund för analysering av e-postkommunikation. Modellen bygger på existerande teorier från kommunikationsvetenskapen och har modifierats med fenomen och aspekter som gör att den på ett realistiskt sätt speglar en verklig kommunikationsprocess.

För att kunna rekonstruera en tredimensionell volym av en hjärna avbildad med hjälp av magnetresonanstomografi (MRI) behöver man korrigera varje snittbild i förhållande till varandra, beroende på oundvikliga rörelser hos den röntgade patienten. Detta förfarande kallas bildregistrering och idag använder man sig primärt av en metod där en bild utses till referensbild och därefter anpassas närliggande bilder, som antas ha en minimal avvikelse, till referensen.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att använda en annan metod vanligen utnyttjad inom datorseende för att estimera ett rörelsefält utifrån en vanlig videosekvens, genom att följa markörer som indikerar rörelse. Målet är att skapa en robust estimering av huvudets rörelse, som då kan användas för att skapa en mer noggrann korrigering och därmed också en bättre rekonstruktion..

Inledning: Studien är en explorativ kvalitativ undersökning av psykoterapeuters upplevelser i terapier med ungdomar med narcissistisk problematik. Fem psykoterapeuter deltog i kvalitativa intervjuer. Intervjumaterialet bearbetades utifrån en tematisk analys. Genom ett relationellt terapeutiskt arbete går det att få en "genuin" kontakt och bygga allians, men att det också är osäkert och inte en självklarhet. I resultatet framkommer att det krävs tålamod, uthållighet, lång klinisk erfarenhet, goda teoretiska kunskaper samt professionell handledning.

Environment friendly transports are one of the main topics in the industry and society today.Shell organizes an annual university competition called Shell Eco Marathon. The goal is to buildthe car that consumes the least fuel during a race. KTH participated for the first time in 2006.The engine for this competition, DoubleTwo, has been developed within the school. Theprinciple is a two stroke counter piston HCCI engine with variable compression ratio. HCCIstands for homogenous charge compression ignition.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen har varit att undersöka om lärare i två städer i Mellansverige upplever sig arbeta för delaktighet i undervisningen. Åtta lärare intervjuades gällande deras syn på bland annat koncentrationssvårigheter och delaktighet i grundskolan.Resultatet visade att delaktigheten hos elever med koncentrationssvårigheter var minimal på skola A. Tre av fyra lärare förespråkade en undervisningsform som gick ut på att elever med koncentrationssvårigheter arbetade enskilt utanför klassrummet. Endast en av de intervjuade lärarna på skola A bedrev en undervisning där alla elever inkluderas i klassrummet. Resultatet på skola B visade att alla fyra lärare arbetar på ett sådant sätt att eleverna blir delaktiga i undervisningen.

Background: Sporting events conveyed by the TV medium affect people and can give many unforgettable experiences. Sport may be synonymous with excitement and drama or just serve as entertainment. Through TV broadcasts from different sporting events, millions of televiewers all over the world have enjoyed athletic feats of extreme top class. TV broadcast sport always attracts a great number of viewers, also in Sweden. The prices of broadcasting rights to sporting events have risen strongly during the last decade, much as a consequence of the increasing competition between different TV companies both internationally and in Sweden.

Changing of the hoof angle is a common method for the treatment of many lameness-related conditions (Moyer 1980; Stashak 2002). Various studies in the literature have indicated different results of the effect of changing the hoof angle on the movement of the distal limb. Our study investigated the effect of raising the heel of the forelimbs by 10,7 mm on the movement of the distal limb. Horses trotted on a treadmill at several predetermined speeds. The kinematics of the distal limb was determined and variables including the extension of the fetlock joint were determined.

Today several things point to the fact that many young women are being abused and sexual harassed. Despite that there is no knowledge about how the girls handle the violence or how the battering affects them. For that reason the purpose of this study is to describe and give a picture of some girl?s experiences of being battered of men they have or have had a relationship with. In focus is also how these girls identities are affected of the battering.

Entrepreneurial firms face unique challenges in attracting and acquiring human resources due to difficulties associated with resource constraint and organization legitimacy, often described as liabilities of "smallness" and "newness". The aim of this paper is to examine the "smallness" and "newness" challenges met by small entrepreneurial firms, which strategies they apply to counter these challenges, and if these strategies can be explained by the firm's HR philosophy. Since few studies on Human Resource Management (HRM) in small entrepreneurial firms exist, a framework combining theory from the research fields of HRM, entrepreneurship and small firms has been developed. Employing a qualitative case study design of five small Swedish entrepreneurial firms, our findings demonstrate four "smallness" and "newness" challenges and seven strategies that either counteract or prevent them. Furthermore, results showed that the strategies applied seemed to have no significance with regards to the firm's HR philosophy.

The terrorist attack that shocked the world the 11th of September 2001, when two hijacked aircrafts flew into the World Trade Center's twin towers in New York, came to change the world view for many people especially Americans that felt that the world around them where about to collapse. A new time had begun, a more frighten one. A new kind of terrorism where seen in the dawn, a kind that never had been more evil, and there for was passed to be extremely dangerous. The United States followed by the United Kingdom decided quickly to declare war against the terrorism. Unavoidable this decision led to the development of new interpretations of public international law when the US where unwilling to follow the rule of law.

In the following study I probe the social world of hard-rock music. By conducting interviews with four young male enthusiasts of this music I try to develop a general picture of this social world, as well as of the basic elements on which this particular subculture is constructed. The identity of a hard-rocker is based upon a number of factors beyond just a preference for that music. Throughout the interviews I encountered many implicit norms that one must followed in order to be able to see oneself as a true hard-rocker. I also found that from the respondents? perspective, the mainstream culture has, throughout the history of metal music, used various ways to counter the spreading of this genre.

Sweden currently has no legislated regulation of lobbying, but the professional lobbyist can voluntarily subscribe to, among others, the professional code of standars created by the trade association of Public Relations, Precis. There is an ongoing discussion in Sweden to regulate lobbying, both in mass media and in politics. This study examines this debate and focus on which arguments there are for and against lobbying regulation in Sweden. It also attempts to identify the differences, if there are any, between left and rights parties with regards to their views on regulation of lobbying.Tha main method used was document analysis of parliamentary bills which have been raised concerning a lobbying regulation in Sweden. In the theory section, I include four different types of requirements placed on democratic lobbying (se for example Jaatinen 1998, Kitchen 1999, Larsson 2005, Möller 2009 and Naurin 2001).

The purpose of this study was to investigate how an ADHD diagnosis late in life as an adult can have effected childhood and adult life. It is a qualitative study executed by interviewing four adults, two men and two women. The individuals in the study had all experienced difficulties in their childhood and in school and had all felt different from the rest of the ambient. None of the interviewees were on medication for ADHD but most were open for trying. Support from school or other settings had been minimal.

Voice over IP (VoIP) is a relatively new technology that enables voice calls over data networks.With VoIP it is possible to lower expenses, and increase functionality and flexibility. FromSwedish Armed Forces point of view, the security issue is of great importance, why the focus inthis report is on the security aspect of the two most common open-source VoIP-protocols H.323and SIP, some of the most common attacks, and counter-measures for those attacks.Because of the level of complexity with a network running H.323 or SIP, and the fact that it hasyet to stand the same level of trial as of traditional telephony, a VoIP-system includes manyknown security-issues, and probably at present many unknown security flaws.The conclusion is that it takes great knowledge and insight about a VoIP-network based onH.323 or SIP to make the network satisfyingly safe as it is today, and is therefore perhaps not asuitable solution for the Swedish Armed Forces today for their more sensitive communications..

SammandragDen här uppsatsen bygger på en enkätundersökning och intervjuer för att försöka ta reda på vad elever har för mål när de genomför uppgifter i skolan. För vems skull genomför de uppgifter, för sin egen eller för att behaga läraren? Det jag kom fram till är att det varierar väldigt mycket. Många elever jagar betyg och då framför allt för sin egen skull, medan andra jobbar enligt parollen minsta möjliga jobb för att behaga läraren och eventuellt få ett godkänt betyg med minimal arbetsinsats. Väldigt många elever har också ganska små förväntningar inför en uppgift i skolan.
