Många människor i Sverige utövar idag olika former av fysisk aktivitet på sin fritid, och utbudet på motionsformer ökar stadigt. Många träningsverksamheter formar sitt utbud efter trender och efterfrågan. I det allt större utbudet av motionsformer måste individer göra olika val. Dessa val kan vara olika beroende på en individs tidigare erfarenheter av eller smak för motionsform. Det övergripande syftet är att belysa motionsutövares träningsvillkor på en träningsanläggning, utifrån framträdande handlingsmönster.

Gör emotioner en spelupplevelse bättre? Jämfört med äldre narrativa medier såsom film och skönlitteratur är spelbranschen ung och anses på många sätt vara mindre sofistikerad ifråga om emotionellt djup. Spel har, till skillnad från film där emotioner väcks genom empati med karaktärer, ofta ett förstapersonsperspektiv vilket gör det lättare att förbättra spelupplevelsen genom att väcka emotioner hos spelaren direkt. I detta arbete syftar emotioner på de av djupare slag som traditionellt sett varit sällsynta inom spel då dessa ofta är primärt gameplaydrivna. Verktyg för att förändra ett spel till att bättre väcka emotioner existerar i form av sätt att skriva vilket gör karaktärer, handling och dialograder djupare och mer intressanta.

From my own experience as a school counselor I have learned that the decision making processes in terms of supporting and helping the students is extremely hard and very individual. In different situations, a different approach between individuals is present. I thought about which factors effects the school counselor?s way of handling problematic situations. I soon realized that the individual has a great effect on the work itself.

Regionalisation has become an increasingly important phenomenon in a globalized world. As models of regional integration, the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) are two prominent examples. This thesis seeks to explore through a comparative analysis, the different mechanisms and institutions for handling breaches against fundamental values within the two regional organizations. Inter-linked with the issue of the legal-institutional framework is that of what values the mechanisms are designed to protect. The method used for the analysis is first and foremost that of public international and European law, but the thesis also attempts to give a broader picture of the issues presented.

Food insecurity is a great problem worldwide and Ethiopia is one of the sub-saharan countries that are suffering from poverty and food insecurity and a large part of the population are living in a state of undernourishment. To reduce these problems, a successful horticulture production can be an important factor. Compared to other crops, fruit production in Ethiopia has not been a large part of the agricultural sector. However, the demand on the domestic market is increasing as well as the production for avocado and mango. To increase food security it is important to focus on ways to decrease post-harvest losses of food products and not only have the productivity of agriculture in focus.

Avsikten med mitt arbete är att undersöka hur personalen på ett boendestöd för människor med dubbla diagnoser använder sin kunskap i det dagliga arbetet, hur det påverkar personalen själva, brukarna och verksamheten. De har en bred kunskap och jag ville undersöka den tysta kunskapen och försöka se hur den skapar allianser mellan personalen och brukarna. För att kunna åskådliggöra detta svårmätbara område så använde jag bland annat Polanys Kunskapsbegrepp. Genom litteratur i ämnet har jag sammanställt några viktiga beståndsdelar i denna kunskap, såsom kulturens betydelse, hur språket påverkas, och även på vilket sätt individen bidrar till den tysta kunskapen och till slut hur detta skapar ett förtroende mellan personalen och brukaren. Med hjälp av kvalitativa studier intervjuade jag fem personer som arbetar vid detta dubbeldiagnosboende.

This thesis work has been carried out at the consultant company Pöyry Sweden AB in Norrköping, whom performs the task for E.ON heating Sweden AB, Händelöverket in Norrköping. The report shows methods to manufacture slurry consisting of fly ash and water. The slurry shall be pumped into several former oil storage rock shelters that E.ON has put into operation for the specific purpose. The ash mixture also develops hydrogen gas in contact with water.The work has aimed to produce different suggestions of methods and equipment that can be used for the objective. Mixing method and security issues were in centre while working with the suggestions.

De spännande och vackra kulturmiljöer som våra kyrkogårdar utgör bör marknadsföras mer för att intressera och attrahera gemene man. Genom en studie av befintlig kyrkogårdsturism kartläggs situationen idag och positiva erfarenheter lyfts fram för en fortsatt utveckling inom branschen. Då ämnet är outforskat, och lite källmaterial finns att tillgå, bygger arbetet på subjektivt intervjumaterial och en litteraturstudie med fokus på kulturarv och generell marknadsföring i tjänste- och upplevelseföretag. Resultatet visar att för att utveckla dessa kulturmiljöer krävs ett långsiktigt mål och ett genuint intresse inom förvaltningen och från politiskt håll. Studien visar att efterfrågan inte nödvändigtvis finns naturligt, däremot existerar ett stort publikunderlag vilket nås genom lättillgängliga och intressanta aktiviteter.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine attitudes and standpoints amongst librarians at the Swedish public library towards literary awards and awarded literature. The questions posed in the study are: What attitudes are expressed amongst these librarians towards the Nobel Prize in literature, the August Prize and literary awards and awarded literature in general? What significance do the Nobel Prize in literature, the August Prize and other literary awards have concerning purchase and display at these public libraries? How is awarded literature perceived and how do they talk about it concerning quality and are questions of quality significant? Qualitative interviews with seven librarians at four different public libraries have been done. Theories regarding J?rgen Habermas the bourgeois public sphere and Pierre Bourdieu?s terms habitus, field and capital have been used as to explain the library as a public sphere.

This bachelor thesis delves into the role and impact of cultural dimensions, identity and leadership on post-merger acquisition in Sweden through an in-depth analysis of two companies that have undergone acquisitions or mergers. Using an abductive method, where theories are continuously adapted based on empirical data, qualitative information was gathered through semi-structured interviews with managers and employees from the two companies. The study aimed to gather well-founded insights on how corporate cultural dimensions, identity and leadership are experienced by individuals during the merger. By examining culture, leadership and identity in three different time phases of the integrationprocess, a comprehensive understanding of the integration process was achieved. The results of the study highlight that cultural factors such as leadership, culture, and identity play a central and crucial role in mergers and acquisitions. By considering and managing employees' and leaders' identities, organizations can create a sense of coherence and continuity despite changes.

Pappans närvaro under förlossning har ökat de senaste åren. Vid förlossning förväntas de spela en aktiv roll i form av stöd för kvinnan. Många män är inte beredda på att en normal förlossning hastigt kan behöva slutas med kejsarsnitt. Syftet med studien är att ta reda på och beskriva pappors upplevelser av akut kejsarsnitt. För att få fram pappors upplevelse användes en fenomenologisk forskningsmetod i form av kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer.

The construction industry is always looking for ways to make the work more efficient aswell as minimize the waste of money in general. At the same time the industry is showing alow awareness of logistics which has to increase in order to improve the industry in thesekind of questions. Projects located in the inner city have high demands on the logistic andthe handling of material due to the so often limited space for storages of the material. Dueto this the purpose of this report is true a case, study and analyze what kind of factors thereis to take into consideration during the materials way from the supplier to the workstationin a project located in the inner city. The data for the report was collected with the help of acase study, and in three different ways.

Studien ?Lärares gemensamma lärande - En kvalitativ intervjustudie av lärares uppfattningar kring samverkan och en gemensam handlingsarena? har syftet att öka kunskapen om betydelsen av lärares möjligheter till att se varandra i handling och ämnar besvara följande frågeställningar; Hur formas, upprätthålls och utvecklas samverkan mellan lärare?, Vilken betydelse utgör en gemensam handlingsarena för lärares samverkansstrategier? Den här studien utgår från teorin om det kollektiva lärandet. Denna teori innehåller tre typer av samtal; berättandet, det gemensamma reflekterandet och det gemensamma intentionsskapandet, som i denna studie ses som villkor för att nå upp till ett kollektivt lärande. Teorin har vidareutvecklats genom ett införande av begreppen ?nätverk? och ?gemensam handlingsarena? som för den här rapporten eventuellt kan ses som ett fjärde villkor för ett kollektivt lärande.

The Swedish immigration policy is a subject constantly under scrutiny, especially in the media. The Dublin treaty, which came into effect in 2003, has meant stricter regulations for the handling of asylum seekers, which in turn increases the requirements of the officials at the Swedish Migration Board. Consequently, the staff at the Swedish Migration Board is daily facing difficulties when deciding who is to stay or not. Therefore, it is interesting to investigate how these criteria in the Dublin Treaty, are used in the daily work of the officials. Emphasizing these problematic aspects of the Dublin Treaty, this study aims to answer the following two questions:- How has the Dublin Treaty been implemented in Swedish legislation by the officials at the Swedish Migration Board?- How do these officials work to implement this treaty?This case study is based on interviews with a number of officials working at the Swedish Migration Board.
