Vår uppsats, Inflytande och delaktighet ? en fråga om att få sin vilja igenom eller att bli lyssnad på behandlar barns delaktighet och inflytande i förskolan. Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur pedagogerna tolkar begreppen delaktighet och inflytande och i vilka situationer som delaktighet och inflytande ges till barnen. Den tidigare forskningen inom området visar olika synsätt och perspektiv på lärande som råder. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer av sex pedagoger och observationer på två olika förskolor har vi analyserat, tolkat och sammanställt ett resultat. Resultatet visar att barnen blev sedda och lyssnade på men att delaktighet och inflytande ofta handlar om att få bestämma aktivitet. För att öka barnens delaktighet och inflytande i förskolans verksamhet behöver pedagogerna synliggöra det bättre, genom att bland annat föra pedagogisk dokumentation samt avsätta mer tid för reflektion och utvärdering. Vår slutsats är att pedagogerna inser att barnen är kompetenta, men att rutiner i den vardagliga verksamheten hindrar pedagogerna från att fullt ut ta tillvara på det kompetenta barnet. Dessutom anser sig pedagogerna behöva mer tid till att föra pedagogiska diskussioner.

The purpose of this study is to examine discussions held by politicians and experts concerning the concepts Christian ethics and western humanism. I will examine the argumentation for and against the concepts Christian ethics and western humanism, which finally ended in a resolution of using these concepts in the curriculum Lpo/Lpf 94. In this study I am using a qualitative method to examine how different opinions and views are expressed in two different committee reports, initiated by the Ministry of Education, as well as protocols from the debate in the Swedish Parliament.I will attempt to elucidate the political views of these concepts, which will become an integral part of the base of values in the curriculum. Results show that the politicians are unanimous regarding the content itself, but disagree of the thought of establishing the base of values in Christian ethics. But the discussion is ambiguous because the opinion of the politicians is that the concepts, especially Christian ethics, stand for general human values.

This essay is about use, misuse and non-use of history in politics. To recognize genocide is a use of history that has been established in politics, but also sparked debate. The position of non-use of history in international policy towards Turkey's denial policy has increasingly been replaced by recognition of genocide as a matter of making up with the story, moral consider, and where fundamental issues of culture, identity, history and morality has become guiding element in the discourse behind European expansion and integration policies. A breakthrough for this change is due to the Cold War's end; since the 1980s it has become possible to realize the humanitarianism which has its roots in the Enlightenment humanism underlying the United Nations, and later the EU conventions on human rights and genocide conventions. A genocide concept has become an important discourse in world politics that puts moral pressure on states to act.

This paper examines pupils? conception of the Swedish schools constitutive values expressed in the Swedish curriculum. The main question was, at to what extent the schools constitutive values have influenced the pupils conception of their own values. That question problematizes the relation between values, constructed and carried by central administration, and their interpretation at local level by pupils. The study was conducted with qualitative analysis which included qualitative interviews with seven pupils in the last year of the Swedish school system.

The purpose of this master thesis is to describe and analyse Gerda Meyerson's educational project for young working-class women in Stockholm between 1898 and 1923. In 1898 Meyerson founded a home for young working-class women where her project could be implemented. It is the educational practises at this home and Meyerson's own words about working womens way of life thats in focus of this investigation. From a class and gender perspective the thesis examines the problems, the solutions and finally the goals of Meyerson's intentions for the young women. The problems were mainly the womens lack of self-esteem and bad moral reputation in society.

The social network services (SNS) on the Internet are becoming more common, and are starting to have a higher range of users, which is affecting Internet marketing. We (the authors) have a feelingthat a growing online marketing within social networks could interrupt the order of social standards. That is why we in this paper have tried to figure out what position marketing has ? and might have ? within SNS, and what impact it will have on social relations.During qualitative interviews along with both representatives of public relation offices as well as with SNS users, we became aware of the occurring strategies of online marketing, and the usersunderstanding of it. In the information from the interviews, we found some interesting contradictions on which this paper underlies.

Under de senaste åren har det blivit allt mer populärt att investera pengar i så kallade etiska fonder. Det är fonder som inte investerar i vissa branscher inom exempelvis tobak, alkohol och vapen. Begreppet etik är dock svårdefinierat och har olika betydelser för olika personer. Det är därför upp till varje enskilt fondbolag att utifrån sitt eget perspektiv investera i de företag som inte anses vara oetiska av just dem.Studien ämnar analysera de etiska fonderna på den svenska marknaden och deras placeringsriktningar, för att sedan diskutera om det är möjligt att standardisera begreppet etik inom fondmarknaden. Syftet är också att diskutera huruvida det är möjligt investera i en etisk fond med gott samvete.Undersökningarna som gjorts är av det kvalitativa slaget, och insamlandet av data har skett via litteratur, Internet, intervjuer samt tidningsartiklar.

The use of computer and video games has increased immensely over the past few decades and today a majority of the Swedish population enjoys them on a daily basis. With such a large number of frequent users, the media reporting on the subject of games becomes interesting and important. How are games represented in the media, and has there been any change in the way they are portrayed as their popularity has grown? ­The aim of this study is to determine if and how the portrayal of computer and video games in Swedish newspapers has changed during the period 1995?2012. The study was conducted with the use of quantitative content analysis and the empirical data was collected from the two most widespread newspapers in Sweden ? DN and Aftonbladet.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the way George W. Bush used the language as a means to exercise power in an attempt to justify Operation Iraqi Freedom. The theories used to answer the purpose are discourse analysis and three different moral metaphors that are applied on the data.The collected material for the metaphors is constituted of cognitive linguistic books from prominent linguists, such as George Lakoff, Alan Cruse and William Croft, and the material for the discourse analysis is also collected from prominent discourse analysts such as Michél Foucault and Norman Fairclough. I takt med den ökade uppmärksamheten för värdegrundsfrågor i samhället har också förskolan och skolan skyldighet att utveckla arbetsplaner och åtgärdsprogram för att motverka mobbning, utanförskap och diskriminering. I styrdokumenten för förskola och skola står att det är en viktig uppgift att till barn/elever förmedla och förankra de grundläggande värden som vårt samhällsliv vilar på. Utifrån dessa aspekter har studiens syfte varit att försöka definiera specifika värdegrundsfrågor som rör bemötande och fördomar. Genom observation och intervjuer har undersökningen genomförts utifrån frågeställningar om hur barnen kunde relatera den egna verkligheten och sitt agerande till det som skedde i en berättelse, och hur barnen förstått bokens budskap samt om de kunnat formulera värdegrunden däri. Vidare beskrevs ett exempel på en arbetsmodell om hur pedagoger i förskolan/skolan skulle kunna arbeta med dessa frågor utifrån barnlitteratur genom en estetisk praktisk metod.

Workers Educational Association, took part in the great changes of society and in the modernizing process in the period of 1920-1949. The examination is based upon three journals of educational material that were connected with W.E.A. The question at issue is to show how the people behind W.E.A. aimed to educate and indeed educated the workers to modern people and moreso to see how the articles in fact were written and to analyse in what way they turn to the workers and get their attention.
