Intranets can streamline workflow processes, improve communication and add value to the employees of an organization. Companies that don?t take advantage of the potential in their intranet is a common phenomenon. In connection with a migration project dealing with a switch of content management system it turned out that SAS Technical Services lacked clear objectives and strategies for the use of their intranet. Thereby they didn?t make the most of the possibilities an intranet brings.The work with this thesis began with collecting the experiences the company could take with them from the migration project.

Following the accident at the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl in 1986, great volumes of137Cs were distributed over large parts of the former Soviet Union and Europe. Over Scotland,radiocaesium was deposited as wet deposition. Due to the relatively long physical half-life of30 years, there are still measurable activity concentrations in the natural environment. Thisstudy was made on two organic soils, Knockandy Hill and Rora Moss, situated in the easternpart of the central highlands of Scotland. At these two sites, studies on migration and transferbetween soil and plants were conducted.

REFERATStudiens syfte är att påvisa utvecklingstrenderna i befolkningens utveckling och sammansättning under perioden 2000-2014. Syftet är också att diskutera denna utveckling utifrån teorier och trender i ett större perspektiv.Studien är kvantitativ och bygger på datamaterial från SCB. Studien är en deskription för hur befolkningsutvecklingen och sammansättningen av ålder och könsbalans ser ut för kommunerna i länet.Resultatet visar att de flesta kommuner har en negativ utveckling och att nästan all befolkningstillväxt sker i Umeå. För samtliga kommuner minskar andelen yngre och andelen äldre blir fler. Åldersstrukturen, könsbalansen och försörjningskvoten skiljer sig kraftigt mellan kommuner.

Uppsatsen undersöker befolkningsförändring sett ur ett migrationsperspektiv under perioden 2000-2009. Studien visar att 145 av Sveriges 290 kommuner under 2000-talet har minskat i befolkning medan 140 kommuner har ökat i befolkning. Det grundläggande pro-blemet uppsatsen belyser är det faktum att 15 av dessa kommuner minskat i befolkning med mer än 10 procent. Utöver detta tillkommer att 29 kommuner haft en befolkningsökning på mer än 10 procent. Utvecklingen orsakar en skevhet i den kommunala organisationen som medför problem ibland annat den kommunala budgeteringen.

This essay analyses text written by a gender equality movement critical of feminism. Themovement is active on the Internet and through this essay I would like to show the tensions in contemporary political debates on gender equality and feminism. 350 blogposts have been deconstructed through discourse theoretical method. In the analyses I have shown the discursive struggle that is going on within the movement in giving meaning to concepts as knowledge, society, gender, politics, feminism and gender equality. The movement is using the technical potential in blogs and common Internet forums tocreate a common political we.

The study is based on a case where Fältbiologerna were protesting against the establishment of two shopping centers near the outskirts of Lund.The study is inconclusive, but provides a few interesting questions for further studies in this subject..

Climate change is a phenomenon that know no boundaries. While focus on environment and climate change has become highly prioritized, nationalism has spread across Europe. Nationalism is by many considered to refuse action to combat climate change although some argue that nationalism could combat global climate change. Previous research on how nationalism is implemented in environment and climate politics has mainly focused on single parties. The thesis therefore aims to give a broad approach and compare how nationalism is used in environment and climate politics by analyzing 4 European parties with either ethnic or civic nationalism and different roles in their party system. With a qualitative content analysis on party programs and election manifestos the findings imply that parties use nationalism in the climate and environment discourse in a variety of ways.

To solvethe ?problems? they promote a nationalistic and a cultural racist discourse especiallypinpointing the ?Muslims? as being a problem.Since the Sweden democrats are striving to implement their discourse in the society andschool, and since their discourse already are reproduced by solar students in the classroom,I find it important to examine the essence of their particular discourse and contrast it withthe current value system of the Swedish schools.I don´t find the nationalistic and racist discourse of the Sweden democrats to correspond tothe value system of the Swedish school, mainly due to their strive to create alienation, andby labeling individuals in a reductive manner, instead of using apparent differences as asource for democratic discussions in the classroom.

Every now and then new political ideas appear which creates debate. A current example of political debate is the one which concerns the creation of a feminist political party in Sweden -Feministiskt initiativ. Apparent in the current debate is that there are two existing conflicts of ideas present. The liberal thought of politics of ideas stands against feminism's demand for presence in the political life. And the other, the conflict which concerns the question of where a line between the public and the private spheres should be drawn.

The method also studies what assumptions underlie policy problems, what is left as unproblematic within the policies and what effects are produced by specific problem representations. A central question for the thesis is what has remained and changed within Swedish gender equality politics. Tutor: Arne Larsson. ?Women?s conditions in municipal politics in the municipality of Karlstad - Six politicians tell?.  The purpose of this paper is to explore women?s conditions in the municipal political work in the municipality of Karlstad.

Syftet med föreliggande arbete var att få en djupare förståelse för några invandrarkvinnors upplevelse av kriget i hemlandet och de konsekvenser detta förde med sig i det nya hemlandet med tanke på hälsa och sociala relationer. Sju kvinnor som härstammar från Balkanområdet i åldrarna 36-50 deltog i studien. Kvinnorna har bott i Sverige mellan 13 och 18 år. Data insamlades genom en semistrukturerad intervju med fem olika teman: krigsupplevelser, livet i Sverige, hälsa, socialt nätverk och KASAM. Resultatet visade att krigsupplevelserna har förändrat kvinnornas både fysiska och psykiska hälsa negativt.

Denna uppsats undersöker samtalet om de mikrolån som dykt upp som fenomen under de senaste åren. Kan dessa på ett bättre sätt bekämpa fattigdom än det traditionella biståndet? Detta utreds genom en litteraturstudie, där material används från statlig utredning, nyhetsmedia (tidningar) och organisationers egna publikationer. Uppsatsen visar att den generella meningen i de texter som undersöks är att mikrolån kan bekämpa fattigdom på ett annat sätt än vad traditionellt bistånd har kunnat. Traditionellt bistånd visar upp ett antal problem såsom risk för korruption, att det kan skapa passivitet och att det inte verkar bekämpa fattigdom på ett effektivt sätt.
