The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to examine and understand how teachers of younger children teach information literacy and also what part the school library and the school librarian take in this process.I have, in the study, used parts of Limberg & Folkesson´s IDOL project as my theoretical framework and the material was collected through qualitative interviews with four teachers. My result of this study indicates that many teachers have a vague idea of what information literacy is. My study also indicates that teachers only teach information literacy occasionally. This despite the new curriculum (Lgr11) which clearly indicates that information literacy is a priority. Some of the teachers express an opinion that the students, for example; in their source critical ability, develop this skill with age.

Studies have shown that young people in residential care homes tend to be low achievers in school and are at high risk of entering adulthood with a low level of education. This group has also shown tendency to adverse psychosocial outcomes. The aim with this study is to reach an understanding of how teenagers and young adults view themselves and their future, what ambitions they have in life and how they see their opportunities to realize their goals. The study is based on a qualitative method and was conducted with semi structured personal interviews with five youngsters 15-21 years old in two different residential care homes. The theoretical viewpoints have been based on E.H Erikson?s theory about identity as well as the theory about resilience.The result of this study indicates that the persons we have interviewed have expressed difficulties in describing themselves.

This degree project focuses on the importance of being professional doing a job at the same time as being able to express one self in a professional way. The degree project also focuses on how the work as an environmental- and health inspector could be made easier by making the inspectors aware of their language and open to change. Finally the focus of this degree project lies on how positive contacts can be made with people despite them being informed of difficult or unwanted things.In order to get an overview of the inspectors? communication skills today the environmental- and health inspectors at the environment office in Laholm´s municipality were evaluated. The inspectors´ communications styles and languages were checked on the basis of the ?nonviolent communication model? by Marshall Rosenberg.The content and the result of this report were presented for the head of the environment office, the chairman of the committee and the participating inspectors in Laholm´s municipality.

Problemen med våldsamheter kring Stockholmslagens allsvenska fotbollsmatcher ökar, och kostar både klubbarna och samhället miljoner varje år. Samtidigt har publikintresset för allsvenskan minskat under 2008, inte minst i huvudstaden. Vissa hävdar att det finns ett samband mellan ökade problem med fotbollsvåld och fallande publiksiffror. Andra menar att det rör sig om två skilda företeelser. Alla verkar dock överens om att det krävs ett nytänkande kring hur och när elitfotboll ska arrangeras..

The artist Pehr Hilleström has been credited as the founder of the Swedish genre painting. In the second half of the 18th century he began painting everyday subjects of the different social stratums. Today his paintings are noted for their way of showing us the culture of the time since the photograph still had still not been introduced.   Hilleström was a court painter for King Gustav III who wanted him to depict the Swedish people and their different costumes. The king thought the costumes were of great significance for their psychological impact on people and therefore used them as a way to unite the nation psychologically, both by the genre paintings and also by making a national costume. The costumes were used as a symbol of an unbroken tradition and national heritage.

The aim of this study was to examine how individuals with disability pension reason about a return to work. Action theory, as presented by Berglind, was used as theoretical approach. Qualitative interviews were conducted with five individuals who have disability pension due to mental illness. The respondents describe how they weigh benefits and disadvantages against each other. The main reason for a return to work is economical.

Uppsatsens syfte är att göra en komparativ studie av hur den ryska friheten för media har förändrats under tre olika politiska perioder mellan åren 1985 och 2008 tillsammans med de olika presidenter som personifierade dessa perioder. Arbetet utgår ifrån ramarna av yttrande- och pressfrihet mot bakgrunden av FN:s och EU:s konventioner om mänskliga rättigheter och Dahls demokratikriterier. Fri media spelar en avgörande roll för demokratin. Politiker står genom media till svars för sina handlingar och medborgarna får viktig information och för detta krävs det yttrande- och pressfrihet. Utan rätten till dessa försvinner snabbt den vanliga medborgarens förmåga att delta i, och positivt påverka politiken.

I uppsatsen utvärderas projektet Vägen in, som drevs av socialförvaltningen i Enköpingskommun 2007?2008. Deltagarna i projektet var individer med missbruksproblematik, oftatillsammans med en historia av kriminalitet och/eller psykisk ohälsa. Syftet med studien är attundersöka vilka kostnader och utfall Vägen in har gett upphov till i jämförelse medsocialtjänstens tidigare insatser för deltagarna, sett ur ett samhällsekonomiskt perspektiv.Bakgrunden till studien är att det i princip saknas samhällekonomiska utvärderingar avmissbruksvård. I studien jämförs samhällets kostnader för deltagarna två år innan projektet(2005-2006) med motsvarande kostnader under projekttiden (2007-2008).

Assessment of the level of the pupils´ knowledge and understanding are important parts of teaching. There are diverse ways to do this and many different tools to use.The purpose of this study is to explore, through qualitative interviews, how five teachers work with assessment. The focus lies on both how they work with assessment in general and how they use the assessment tools called »LUS» and »Nya språket lyfter!». The pupils´ participation in their own education is an important part of the Swedish curriculum, which is why the study also focuses on how the informants work to enable the pupils´ participation in the assessment and in their education.The informants all think that both assessment and the pupils´ participation in the assessment are important, since teaching is easier when the pupils are aware of what they need to know and learn. Many of the informants express that time is an issue when it comes to making the assessment trustworthy.

The purpose is to se if the message is an express for the neoliberal ideology.Question formulation:? In which ways have the Taxpayers association expressed neoliberal ideas during 1975-2007?? Does the organisation have the same opinions 1975-2007?Results: The organisation writes mostly about taxes.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to describe by a gender approach what ideas and values are expressed in the novel One Night at Bullar Lake and how they do coincide to a tendency. We also want to discuss authority and class divisions and how these can be connected to the novel and the author. Our final question is to examine in what way the voice of the female author is represented in the novel. To approach our material we use Yvonne Hirdman?s theories about the construction of sexes and Susan Sniader Lanser?s work about voices of female authors, as well as Horace Engdahl?s studies about the silent voice in literature.

Bakgrund och problem: I och med globaliseringen befinner sig världen i en mer och mer integrerad tillvaro där våra tidigare separerade ekonomier är mer och mer sammankopplade. Den senaste finanskrisen som startade i USA har haft kraftigåterverkan på den europeiska ekonomin. Vissa europeiska stater har dock klarat sig bättre än andra vilket får oss att fundera över varför och om fallet verkligen är sådant. Syfte: Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka om den gemensamma valutan som vissa stater i Europa har implementerat har någon betydelse i dess förmåga att hantera och bekämpa den senaste finanskrisen 2008.Metod: Arbetet har utförts med hjälp av ett kvantitativt tillvägagångsätt då vi behandlar utvalda europeiska börsindex för att beräkna nödvändiga faktorer. Dessa faktorer används sedan i utvalda modeller och teorier för att kunna analyseras på ett tillförlitligt sätt.

This study is about the potential advantages as an investment option in a portfolio. The study shows that the incorporation of bitcoins in a portfolio, even to a small degree, gives significant increases of both risk and return. The different studied portfolios sharpe ratio rises, which in turn shows that the risk reducing return increases when bitcoins is used as an investment option.This study is based on Virtual Currency, Tangible Return: Portfolio Diversification with Bitcoins by Brière, Oosterlinck and Szafarz. The authors of this study have compared their own results with the study mentioned and seen its similarities and differences. The study investigated a total of eleven different assets percentage return over 192 weeks ranging from July 2010 to March 2014.

Energismarta lösningar är väldigt aktuellt och alla möjligheter till att spara energi anses absolut nödvändiga för att värna om naturen. Energi kan sparas på bevattningsanläggningar genom att inte vattna om nederbörd är annalkande. Via övervakningar av väderleksrapporter kan nederbärdsmängden analyseras och bevattningen anpassas efter det. Målet med detta examensarbete är att ta fram en prototyp av ett energismart bevattningssystem, avsedd att spara in på oönskad bevattning. Via fuktmätning och analys av väderdata kommer bevattningsmängden att avgöras beroende på fuktigheten i jorden samt annalkande nederbördsmängd. Via en webbsida finns konfigureringsmöjligheter samt information angående aktuellt bevattningssystem. I rapporten förklaras vad sensornoder har för olika funktionaliteter i systemet.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relation between certain chosen fundamental factors (emission trading rights, hydrological balance, interaction with continental Europe, fuel prices) and the spot price at Nord Pool. Particular focus has been put on the trade with emission rights since it is only now their actual impact on electricity prices can be studied. The relationships are measured with regression analysis which includes both R2 and the simulation possibilities of ARX models. The studied period covers 2008 and 2009 with partly daily data and partly weekly data. Owing to the expected higher importance of the fundamentals during the winter months the winter 2008/2009 has been studied separately.
