Bakgrund: I slutet av 1900-talet hade det gjorts väldigt stora framsteg inom teknologin samtidigt som ekonomin inom den svenska hälso- och sjukvården hade försämrats. På grund av denna upp ? och nedgång har olika metoder tagits fram i syfte att förbättra effektiviteten. I vår undersökning har vi studerat Balanced Scorecard (BSC) som är en av dessa metoder. BSC har alltid ansetts som en speciell modell som är skräddarsydd för privata företag och har därför varit svår att tillämpa på offentliga företag, såsom hälso- och sjukvården.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att genom en fallstudie undersöka hur BSC effektiviserat ekonomistyrningen inom hälso- och sjukvården.

This essay focus on the social media Twitter and how three Swedish PR practitioners view and use communication strategies for this social media. Twitter was created 2006 and is kind of a new channel in the digital world. The micro blog has over these few years attracted 175 million users across the world. In Sweden there is 91 000 registered users and according to a survey, 11 000 of them are active by tweeting once a day.Twitter is highly current and all kinds of people are using the social media, for example, artists, companies and individuals. Twitter is with its highly number of users building a new market for organizations to find their stakeholders.

Legacy-system sköter idag flera kritiska affärsprocesser hos många företag och banker. Dessa system är dyra att underhålla och uppdatera med nya funktioner. Legacy-systemenär också svåra att anpassa till en tjänsteorienterad arkitektur eller SOA (Service OrientedArchitechture). Därför vill företagen börja fasa ut dessa system. SOA är ett tankesätt i hur man strukturerar ett system.

The main objective of this essay is to examine how the identities of young people are influenced by their choice of an individual sport or a team sport.The following questions are the focus of the essay:? How does the sport influence the creation of an identity for active young people?? How will the choice of an individual sport or a team sport affect the development of an identity in young people who practises sport?To achieve the objective of this essay I have used a qualitative research approach. The empirical material has been collected with help of eight semi-structured interviews. Four of them were held with young people who practised swimming and the other four with young people who played soccer. The essay is structured from Derek Layders model regarding how to understand the social reality.

 Bakgrund: Sedan 1988 har alla svenska aktiebolag oavsett storlek varit tvungna att ha en kvalificerad revisor som granskar företagets räkenskaper. Idag är Sverige ett av två länder i EU som fortfarande har kvar revisionsplikten för små företag. Inom EU finns bestämmelser som medger medlemsländerna att undanta små företag från revisionsplikt. Utifrån undantagsbestämmelserna har en utredning gjorts i Sverige och ett lagförslag har lagts fram som innebär att 96,5 procent av alla företag i Sverige kan välja om de vill bli reviderade eller inte. Revisionspliktens vara eller inte vara har diskuterats flitigt i Sverige och studier har gjorts avseende vilken relation företagen har med revisorn, vilken nyttan är med revisionen och vilka faktorer som spelar in vid frivillig revision.

Fissurer och odislocerade frakturer hos häst kan ibland vara svåra att upptäcka utan avancerad bilddiagnostik. Det är dock viktigt att diagnostisera dem i tid för att hindra att skadorna förvärras. Röntgen, datortomografi, magnetresonanstomografi och scintigrafi kan ge bra information men metoderna är relativt dyra, inte alltid tillgängliga, innebär en del säkerhetsrisker och kräver erfarna tolkare. Ultraljud är en mobil metod som anses ofarlig men dagens teknik är inte så användbar för att undersöka skelett. Inom industrin har nya ultraljudsmetoder utvecklats som tar hänsyn till olinjära egenskaper hos ljudvågorna.

SammanfattningOCS950(Object Controller System 950) är en av Bombardiers produkter som hanterar säkerhetssystemet i järnvägstrafiken. Det består av olika delsystem och strömförsörjs mha nätaggregat (PSU ? Power Supply Unit). I den här rapporten undersöks den befintliga PSU74-modellen samt nya switchade nätaggregat som finns på marknaden.Bakgrunden till att Bombardier vill byta ut PSU74 mot ett nytt switchat aggregat är att PSU74 har en vikt på 14 kg och tar stor plats i el-skåp. Ett swichat nätaggregat väger ungefär 1,5 kg och är så pass kompakt att det tar litet utrymme i el-skåpet.Bombardier har medvetet väntat med att gå över till SMPS eftersom tillförlitlighet blir ett problem.

The energy sector is facing an impending paradigm shift. Today?s technology enables the end-user to generate their own energy locally at home. Furthermore, recently developed storage technologies make it possible to balance energy demand with stored energy and integrate district heating with the local power grid. This means that in the future heat and electric power will interact and energy flows is converted over energy boundaries.

Bakgrund: Budget har använts som planerings- och styrverktyg av svenska företag sedan 50-talet. Budgetens effektivitet har de senaste åren varit omdiskuterat. Industridesign är ett begrepp som använts sedan 40-talet, då en uppdelning gjordes mellan konstruktion och design. Det har i studier visats att industridesign leder till ett ökat ekonomiskt värde för företag, samtidigt visar budgetstudier att företag bör budgetera för aktiviteter som är värdeskapande. Detta till trots finns det lite forskning som behandlar budget och industridesign tillsammans.

A Swedish electronics company wants to make the cooling of one of their electronic components more efficient. They propose that a retrofit liquid cooler is the way to achieve this goal. The current air cooling has high energy cost due to the high amount of power needed to power fans and heat exchangers. Using high volumes of air for cooling also leads to noise pollution. The conversion from air to liquid cooling would possibly make the operation of the electronics more cost efficient and less noisy.The purpose of this project is to theoretically evaluate different concepts of drawing the heat generated by the electronic component in to a fluid, using numerical calculations in Matlab and FEM simulations in ANSYS.

Thesis purpose: The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate the expectations of roles between supplier sales representatives and retailer store personnel in relation to in-store campaigns, this in order to enhance effectiveness of these functions creating an increase in consumer response. Methodology: The researchers believe that social phenomenon and their meanings are continually being accomplished by social actors, hence a study of individuals? expectations must have a point of departure in these people?s social reality. Store personnel and supplier sales representatives are to a certain degree affected by the structural power relationships within the organizational network, thus the researchers combine an interpretative and radical structuralist paradigm. Theoretical perspective: The researchers investigate expectations of roles through examining interaction between parties involved.

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to study the adaptation of recently recruited young professionals to a top consulting firm through their identity construction efforts. We analyze the influence of a major organization-related discourse on young professionals in order to account for the effects of emotional labor on their adaptation to work. Methodology: We have studied our empirical material in the light of a reflexive pragmatic approach. Thus throughout the analysis of interview material, we try to interpret carefully the material from various perspectives. As authors, we also reflect critically upon our own interpretations.

Ekonomen har tidigare varit en så kallad bean-counter men har över tiden utvecklats till att vara mer delaktig i organisationen och har därmed börjat anta rollen som en affärspartner. Offentliga verksamheter såsom stat, kommun och landsting är stora organisationer som har hand om en viktig del av Sveriges samhällsekonomi. Ekonomen har därmed en viktig roll inom den offentliga sektorn då deras verksamheter berör alla medborgare. Denna studie har genomförts i en kommunal sektor och syftar till att kartlägga olika typer av ekonomers arbetsuppgifter och arbetssätt för att därigenom kunna öka förståelsen för vilken roll ekonomerna har inom den kommunala sektorn.
