I arbetet undersöker jag de diskurser som asexualitet - utifrån en kontext som menas påtala och kritisera heteronormativa antaganden - inträder i. Genom en ständigt närvarande disciplinering görs asexualitet till ett föremål för tal, och därmed föremål för diskurser. Utifrån villkor och antaganden om var och hur ?rätt? tal formuleras görs asexualitet till ett motsägelsefullt element att ordna in i framförandet av identitet. Asexualitet förhandlas i materialet gentemot exempelvis medicinska, psykologiska och sociala effekter. Genom fortlöpande diskursiva erkännanden och misskännanden konstrueras ?de asexuella? som autentiska individer med en konstant och stabil livshistoria.

Hur är kameraövervakning på offentliga förenligt med frihet kontra trygghet? I bakgrundstycket presenteras George Orwells kritiska dystopiska samhällsskildring ?1984? som publicerades 1949 och väckte omedelbart stor sensation.

Avsikten med denna studie var att undersöka de faktorer som resulterade i att Socialförvaltningen i Luleå inrättade ett nytt chefsled; områdeschef. Vardera chefsled; enhetschef, områdeschef, verksamhetschef och därtill facklig part har redogjort för sitt perspektiv på vad som ingår i det nya chefsledets uppdrag. Avsikten med detta var att se hur det nya chefsledets uppdrag uttolkas mellan chefsled och facklig part. Studien avsåg även att redovisa och analysera de erfarenheter som ansamlats sedan installationen av det nya chefsledet. Erfarenheter avsåg även utkristallisera vad det nya chefsledet inneburit för förvaltningen därtill vilka för-respektive nackdelar som det medfört.Förarbetet visade på en rad faktorer som resulterat i ett nytt chefsled inom Socialförvaltningen i Luleå.

AbstractSyftet med denna uppsats är att med hjälp av närläsning, analysera Växjö fattigstyrelses protokoll och föredragningslistor med rapporter. Ambitionen har varit att försöka urskilja vilka individer som var i kontakt med fattigvårdsstyrelsen och vilka ärenden de hade. Vidare också om vem som sågs som rätt respektive orätt fattig och vad för värderingar som kunde skönjas i materialet. Likaså om vilka makt- och kontrollfunktioner som utövades av Fattigvårdsstyrelsen och de som var knutna till den. Det vill säga hur makten kom att manifisteras.

Syfte och frågeställningar: Syftet med min undersökning är att granska ett urval läroböcker i karaktärsämnen på Handels och administrationsprogrammet utifrån ett intersektionellt perspektiv med särskilt fokus på genus. Frågeställningen lyder: Hur beskrivs män och kvinnor genom bilder och illustrationer i läroböckerna?Material och metod: Intersektionalitet är en övergripande inriktning för studien då även klass och i viss mån etnicitet uppmärksammas, studien fokuserar dock på genus. Rådande heteronormativitet samt överlag den manliga dominansen visas genom granskning av tidigare studier av läromedel. Den värdegrund som ska råda i skolan konstateras handla om relationen mellan individer.

Dövhet definieras olika inom olika discipliner. Enligt det medicinska perspektivet är dövhet en avvikelse som bör behandlas, medan det kulturella perspektivet ser döva som en språklig och kulturell minoritet. I Sverige har döva länge kämpat för att få teckenspråket erkänt som språk, undervisning på teckenspråk och rätt till fri tolkservice. I och med att detta erkänts som rättigheter har Sverige länge ansetts ligga i spetsen gällande dövas rättigheter. Samtidigt opereras så gott som alla döva barn i Sverige med cochleaimplantat som gör det möjligt att uppfatta ljud.

Syfte: Inom ramen för och med grund i det specialpedagogiska fältet, är syftet att ta reda på hur ungdomars upplevelser är av att ha genomfört en pedagogisk utredning inom Statens institutionsstyrelse. Teori: För att förstå vad ungdomarna menar, när de berättar om sina livsvärldar, har litteratur inom följande områden beskrivits: specialpedagogiska perspektiv, delaktighet, identitetsskapande och KASAM ? känsla för sammanhang samt historik om ungdomsanstaltens framväxt i samhället till dagens särskilda ungdomshem.Metod: Då livsvärldsstudier har fokus på att studera fenomen som handlar om människans upplevelser för att förstå människans vara i världen (Berndtsson, 2001), valdes en fenomenologisk livsvärldsansats.Det är genom att utgå från den konkret upplevda världen, som upplevts i relation till något subjekt, som människan kan beskriva sin upplevelse, och sin verklighet, och genom att människan lever i och erfar världen, kan hon berätta om sina upplevelser, enligt Berndtsson (2005). Vid analysen av intervjuerna har studiens utgångspunkt varit inspirerat av en hermeneutisk tolkning. Med hjälp av förförståelse i ett speciellt sammanhang, bildar språket en sorts gemenskap, och för att kunna komma bakom de uttalande i intervjuerna, blev valet att använda hermeneutisk tolkning till dem.Resultat: Studien visar, att det finns genuint goda ambitioner att på olika sätt göra ungdomarna delaktiga, trots det visar studiens resultat att deras upplevelse av delaktighet är mycket låg.

With this study, our purpose has been to achieve profounded knowledge and understanding regarding the use of discretion among social workers specialized in social allowance issues. The Social Services Act, structured as a framework law in the Swedish context, provides the social worker with a certain degree of discretion, in order to enable accommodated decisions depending on client case specifics. This study problematizes these aspects of legal security, and our intention has been to examine which factors impact the assessments social workers carry out in statutory decisions of social allowance applications. To attain this, we narrowed down our intention into a number of distinct and delimitated research questions: (1) Which elements of the client case impact the social worker?s assessment? (2) Which external aspects influence the social worker?s assessments and decisions? (3) How do social workers decide the client?s credibility? In order to establish answers to our research questions, we have utilized a qualitative approach of research by exerting qualitative interviews in addition to a vignette study.

Varför ägnar sig somliga ungdomar åt samkönat hångel samtidigt som de ser sig som heterosexuella? Vad är det som gör att de väljer detta beteende trots att de riskerar att bli utsatta för våld på grund av detta? Dessa frågor har mynnat ut i föreliggande undersökning. Detta är en kvalitativ fallstudie/etnografi med hermeneutisk ansats. Syftet med denna undersökning har varit att belysa hur en specifik grupp ungdomar idag ser på genusidentitet och sexualitet för att försöka förstå dess betydelse i konstruerandet av självidentiteten idag. Undersökningen har skett genom deltagande observation i ungdomsgruppen under loppet av fyra år.
