Elever arbetar ofta med textuppgifter när de arbetar med matematisk problemlösning och förståelsen av textuppgifter kan vara problematisk för många elever. Som lärare är det viktigt att veta vad som är svårt och vad som kan underlätta förståelsen för elever. I denna litteraturstudie undersöks vilka språkliga aspekter som kan försvåra för elever i årskurs 1-3 när de läser matematiska textuppgifter samt vilka undervisningsstrategier som kan underlätta förståelsen. Studier på svenska och engelska från år 2000-2014 togs fram genom en systematisk sökning i databaserna LIBRIS och ERIC. Resultatet visar att begrepp, symboler och siffersymboler kan försvåra förståelsen.

AbstractBackgroundParkinson?s disease is a chronically not curable progressive disease that leads to different degrees of disability. Controlled studies on how patient education influences subjective health in Parkinson?s disease are lacking.AimThe aim of this study was to examine the influence patient education had on drug requirements and on subjective health status of persons with Parkinson?s disease.MethodologyA short form of Health Survey, SF-12, was used to measure perceived health. SF-12 was administered before and one month after patient education (intervention group; n= 48), and in waiting list control (n= 48).

Aim and Problem statement The study aimed to investigate views on physical health amongst patients in methadone maintenance program, which is a subject little explored. Previous studies suggest that methadone patients are at risk developing illnesses related to the metabolic syndrome and an unhealthy lifestyle. Methadone also has side effects such as weight gain and irregular levels of glucose. Method This qualitive study included seven interviews with patients in the methadone maintenance program in Uppsala. Qualitive content analyses were performed Findings Content anlyses gave the theme: The view on physical health is a stuggle after normality were ambivalence of lifestyle changes and alienation causes instability in helath.

 Nyckelord:Akutmottagning, sjuksköterska, tidsfaktorer, stress, välmående Bakgrund:Stress och tidsbrist är vanligt förekommande inom sjukvården, och arbetet som sjuksköterska på akutmottagning genererar höga nivåer av stress. Syfte:Att undersöka hur sjuksköterskor på en akutmottagning upplever att tidsbrist och stress påverkar deras välmående. Metod: Kvalitativ studie där tolv stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer utfördes med sjuksköterskor på akutmottagningen på Akademiska sjukhuset. Intervjuerna analyserades med latent innehållanalys enligt Graneheim och Lundman samt Aaron Antonovskys hälsomodell. Huvudresultat:Sjuksköterskornas intervjuer resulterade i fyra kategorier och tio underkategorier vilka tillsammans bildade två domäner och ett tema. Kategorier som erhölls var hanterbarhet, meningsfullhet, begriplighet samt brist på hanterbarhet. Sjuksköterskornas välmående påverkades positivt av stress som upplevdes som hanterbar, meningsfull och begriplig, medan välmåendet påverkades negativt av brist på hanterbarhet. Tidsbrist påverkade sjuksköterskornas välmående endast negativt. Slutsats:Tidsbrist påverkade sjuksköterskornas välmående negativt, medan sjuksköterskorna upplevde att stress kunde ha både positiv och negativ inverkan på deras välmående. .

Abstract This paper discusses protectionism of intellectual property rights in general and the conflict between large pharmaceutical companies? rights to patent and developing countries? rights to cheap generic preparation in particular. The essay focuses above all on HIV/AIDS medicine. The description tries to give an image of the different interests that collide and why they collide. The different actors are above all the pharmaceutical branch, including researchers, inventors and salesmen with their economic interest of revenue, and the population of the development countries and their pressed situation considering the great need of medicine.

Bakgrund: Asylsökande löper större risk att drabbas av psykisk ohälsa än den generella befolkningen, på grund av traumatiska händelser och förlusten av kultur och stöd. Sjukvårdspersonal behöver kunskap om asylsökandes specifika vårdbehov för sin psykiska hälsa och inneha en kulturell kompetens för att kunna ge en personcentrerad vård. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur distriktssköterskor skattade sin egen förmåga att identifiera, bedöma och hantera psykisk ohälsa hos asylsökande. Metod: En kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie med enkät som datainsamlingsmetod har utförts. Enkäten besvarades av 53 distriktssköterskor.

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to compare and analyze Malmö Aviation and Rica Talk Hotel's service culture. This is done by examining three themes, the organizations ways of working with training, motivation and empowerment of frontline employees.Method: The essay is a case study-based qualitative research which mainly focuses on semi-structured, qualitative interviews with various people within the two organizations.Theory: The theoretical framework considers theory within two sections. The first section, the organizations importance in service quality, focuses on service culture or service climate and different management strategies. Section two, the employees? importance in service quality, focuses on three themes: training, motivation and empowerment of frontline employeesResults: Both Malmö Aviation and Rica Talk Hotel are companies that put great emphasis on developing and maintaining a quality service culture within the organization.

How do you build cities that are exciting and nice to live in? What factors in the physical environment is it that make you feel comfortable in some of the places in the city, but in other places not comfortable at all? Why do some cities have a rich public life in their public realm, while the public realm in other cities is abandoned and empty? How do you plan environments that support people?s physical and mental health? These are questions that I put to myself, and that people who are interested in or working with physical planning should ask themselves. That is why I have been studying an authority on the subject, the Danish Professor Jan Gehl, who has been researching and working with peoplefriendly public realms for 50 years. He is best known for his book Life between buildings that has been a text-book in the education of architects for more than 30 years, and to have initiated Copenhagens most famous pedestrian street, Strøget, to show his theory of how people will use the public realm, if it?s only got the right qualities.

The conception of exhaustion was first used in the end of 1960 and was then used in a psychological context directed towards the working life. Eventually was the conception devided into two main categories: mental and somatic symtoms. Today research of exhaustion is mainly aiming towards recovering and returning to working life.This work sets out to analyse the importance and effects of social networks such as family, friends and professional relations in helping people who suffer from exhaustion to recover. The study is based on interviews with eith people who have suffered from exhaustion but today are recovered. To my aid I have used tree different questions: What part have the social network of family and friends ment to the recovery? What part has the professional relationships with doctors, therapists and curators ment to the recovery? How have you changed your life in order to maintain balance?The interviews pointed out the importance of the social relationships as support, feedback and understanding that the process takes time.

Regeringen vill lägga mer vikt på att stärka möjligheten till kultur och social delaktighet. De belyser vikten av att skapa trygghet och att minska isolering inom grupper som till exempel långtidssjukskrivna och långtidsarbetslösa. Kulturaktiviteter som konst, film, musik och teater har bevisats ha en positiv effekt på hälsan genom bland annat ökad social funktion, ökad livskraft och ökad fysisk hälsa. Det avser både att delta i samt att uppleva utan att delta i kulturen.Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om kulturaktiviteter kan påvisa en skillnad i återgång till arbete och psykisk ohälsa hos långtidssjukskrivna personer med psykisk ohälsa, samt undersöka vilken påverkan egna förväntningar har på återgång till arbete. Det insamlade materialet kom från enkätdata ur projektet Kultur och hälsa, genomförd av landstingets enhet Kompetenscentrum för hälsa i Västerås stad.

ABSTRACT Background: Aging and losing cognitive and physical functions is difficult. To also be affected by dementia means that you lose some part of your identity and the ability to take care of yourself. It is important to find alternative, non-pharmacological ways to increase health for the elderly and those who are affected by dementia. When dogs are used for therapeutic purposes in health care it is roughly divided into two different forms; AAA (Animal Assisted Activity) and AAT (Animal Assisted Therapy). AAI (Animal Assisted Intervention) is also used as a term, in which AAT is included.

The Swedish foreign minister Anna Lindh was murdered on September 10 2003. The police pursuit for the man that murdered her was initiated immediately. Two weeks later, the police arrested the 24-year-old man that six month later would be sentenced to imprisonment for life for the murder of Anna Lindh. The main purpose of this essay is to examine how the man that murdered Anna Lindh was described in Aftonbladet and Expressen from the time of his arrest to the sentence of guilty. One part of the purpose of this essay is also to inquire how the Swedish evening press paid regard to the ethical publicity rules in their descriptions.

?Dementia is an umbrella term for several symptoms of impaired brain function. The person's behavior is affected when mental functions such as memory, attention, concentration and language are affected and the dementia patient can have difficulties to interpret sensory input. Communication is based a lot on body language. It is therefore important for the caregiver to seek eye contact with the patient in order to simplify communication and it can be of great help to show with the whole body what they mean and be able to point out things.

Bakgrund: Tidigare studier har visat att psykisk ohälsa ökar bland ungdomar i Sverige. Skolsköterskan har en viktig del i det hälsofrämjande arbetet med barn och ungdomar. Att delaktighet och inflytande har ett samband med hälsa är känt, men det är oklart hur väl dokumenterat ämnet är. Syfte: Att göra en sammanställning kring barn och ungdomars psykiska hälsa relaterat till inflytande och delaktighet i skolan. Metod: Scoping study användes för att sammanställa aktuell litteratur inom det valda ämnet.

This research focus on key groups; students with dyslexia, librarians and teachers, and interaction between these two professional groups regarding students with dyslexia. In searching for the exchange of knowledge and experience to meet dyslexic students needs, I have in this study turned the attention to librarians and their experiences with students with dyslexia.The purpose of the research has been through semi-structured qualitative interviews with four librarians, to explore and describe how they experience their work, in working with pupils with severe reading and writing problems, dyslexia, and interaction with teachers on this user group. The qualitative approach in the gathering of the empirical evidence is based on a desire to have an indepth and thoroughly understanding of the librarians experience.All informants in this study indicate that they see it as a natural part of their duty to keep themselves updated about dyslexia and what materials to suit the dyslexic user group. The informants have knowledge of dyslexia and have great knowledge and keep abreast on the latest technology of compensatory aids - alternative tools.The informants have primary a consulting and supply function for teachers and dyslexic students, where they are consulted on  suitable material in both fiction and facts in various disciplines. The informants highlights the importance of planning and preparation time to find suitable material, as audio books or easy read, so students who have a need for this also can be provided.
