På IKEA går produktionsflödet för en produktbild i dagsläget från konstruktionsritning till fotografering via tillverkning och montering. En produkt som är färdig för tillverkning definieras av sin mekaniska konstruktion och sina ytegenskaper. Ledtiden och kostnaden för bildproduktionen skulle kunna minskas betydligt om produkten kunde avbildas redan i detta stadium, utan att finnas tillverkad. För detta ändamål såg IKEA en möjlighet i att introducera ett nytt produktionsflöde där avancerad datorgrafik, grafisk teknik och bildbehandling omvandlar konstruktionsritningen till produktbild. Ambitionen är att från ritningen ta ut en 3D-modell, placera den i en omgivning, ljussätta och belägga den med material och av detta skapa en tryckbar produktbild som uppfyller företagets höga kvalitetskrav.Syftet med examensarbetet var att ta fram förslag på ett konkret sådant flöde genom att undersöka olika programvaror som skulle kunna användas samt att identifiera problemområden och komma med lösningsförslag på dessa.

Detta examensarbete omfattar brandskydd och dimensionering för de olikakonstruktionsmaterialen limträ, stål och betong. Där målet är att utveckla ett underlagför nyutbildade ingenjörer och konsulter. Layouten på arbetet ger en enkel överblicköver informationen kring de olika materialen och tar upp de viktigaste stegen manska ta hänsyn till vid dimensionering.Arbetet inleds med en allmän översikt på hur brandskyddet behövs i byggnader föratt uppfylla de lagar och regler som ställs. För att få en större förståelse för hur deolika konstruktionsmaterialen beter sig under påverkan av brand, presenteras de olikamaterialegenskaperna och hur påverkningen för samtliga ser ut.Huvuddelen av rapporten beskriver de grova skillnaderna mellan materialen och hurman går till väga för att nå samma brandklass på konstruktionen för de olikamaterialen.För att utvärdera litteraturstudier, har erfarna ingenjörer och konsulter intervjuats.Detta har resulterat i bredare inblick kring det informationsbehov som krävs för att tafram dimensionering vid brandskydd i konstruktioner..

Our study aimed at gaining insight of co-workers experiences of different factors that affects the verbal communication and leads to dialogue and misunderstanding between co-workers and their managers. The empirical material was gained from semi-structured interviews with co-workers at various departments within the same organization. We used a hermeneutic interpretive approach and our data was analyzed concerning different factors affecting communication. The result has been interpreted using the theories of deliberative conversations and dialogue competence. We have also used Illeris theory of learning. The result shows a number of factors that affects communication between co-workers and managers.

This master thesis work was done by two students at Machine Design at KTH for Lesjöfors Stockholmsfjäder AB. The task was to develop a calculation program for gas springs. The program is going to ease the selection of gas springs for a given case of a lid that should be opened. The program is going to be used internal by sales people at Lesjöfors AB in Sweden and internationally. The program is therefore written in English.The program was developed in Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition.

This master?s degree project concerns the combination of a multi dwelling passive house with solar energy for the generation of electricity and domestic hot water (DHW). Different alternatives with either solar thermal systems or photovoltaic (PV) systems are compared with two reference alternatives producing DHW from electricity or district heating. The economical comparison uses a life cycle cost (LCC) perspective based on the present value of expenditures for investment, energy and annual operating and maintenance.The energy yields from the solar energy systems were calculated by hand and with simulation software. Calculation and dimensioning of PV systems were carried out with a software called PVSYST.

This report is an attempt to clarify how religious and non-religious views-of-life [livsåskådningar] are created through the collaboration and opposition of religious and scientific elements/ideas. This with the hope of reaching a fruitful result related to the solution of world-view related conflicts, such as the ones existing between science and religion, on an individual and societal level.This is accomplished with the help of two assertions: (1) Mankind has a need to explain its existence and surroundings. (2) Religion and science has their origins in the same seed and aim to serve the same purpose, or function. Together these two assertions lay the theoretical foundations of this report which implies that all humans have an innate need of sustaining a stable world-view.The result of this report is that a final solution to world-view related conflicts are beyond reach as our mental and physical nature limits us. The residential and service sector in Sweden accounts for approximately 38% of the total energy usage and Sweden has an aim to reduce the total energy use by 20% by 2020 compared to 2008, which means residential sector will have to improve energy efficiency. As part of that a law was instituted by the Swedish parliament that all properties must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to thereby give the property owners a greater insight into energy use in their buildings and propose recommendations for energy-efficiency measures. On the EPC, a value on the building's energy performance in terms of energy use in kWh / m2 per year is declared, of which electricity is a share of it. Instructions on what to include in the amount facility electricity for running the facilities is regulated by the authority for building, Boverket while SVEBY has made an interpretation of the regulations in their report "Brukarindata bostäder" where they have a table on what should be included in the amount and what not to include.This report is a study of two similar apartment buildings, where one of the buildings recently underwent renovation, to see if the declared amount of energy for electricity, in the EPC, is consistent with the measured value, and whether there has been any reduction in facility electricity in the renovated building after the renovation.The result shows that the measured value of the building electricity was 2.6 kWh / m2 per year, 28,8 %, lower than the declared value in the building that have not undergone a renovation. Calculation of values from previous years (2011) by the same percentage of facility electricity as in the results of the measurements, 56.7%, it becomes clear that the declared value for facility electricity in the EPC of the renovated building do not correspond with reality and that there has been an increase in use of facility electricity after the renovation..

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att belysa de psykiska aspekterna av att drabbas av hypertyreos och hur det påverkar individens dagliga liv. Studien vänder sig till sjuksköterskor som kan använda studien i sitt arbete för att underlätta omvårdnaden kring patienter med hypertyreos, vilket på så sätt ger kunskap åt blivande kollegor. Hypertyreos är en sjukdom som blir alltmer vanlig i Sverige och som kan ge stora inverkningar på individens dagliga liv om den inte upptäcks och behandlas i tid. Metoden som valts är en litteraturstudie där tio vetenskapliga artiklar blivit systematiskt och kritiskt granskade utifrån Polit & Hunglers kriterier för vetenskap. Resultatet visar att ett flertal psykiska symtom påverkar som kan ge stora inverkningar på individens dagliga liv, vilket leder till reducerad generell hälsa och minskad vitalitet och känslomässighet, därmed upplever patienter begränsningar i det dagliga livet..

With a shifting world market and periodically profitability issues, Swedish farmers seekalternative ways to enhance their profitability. One interesting alternative to get a highervalue and enhance products is biodiesel, a way to improve the profitability on a farmscale.The diesel that is produced and sold, already have a mixture of 5% biodiesel, andthere is a possibility to add more biodiesel to it. By developing new engines severalengine-manufacturers now allow a mixture up to 100% biodiesel in their engines. Hencethere is a market for an increased production of biodiesel. The aim of this study were toinvestigate the possibilities and the problems related to farm-scale production ofbiodiesel, and to study the profit margin in the production.

According to the statistics, the number of older inmates in prison is increasing, and the care needs for this group are relatively unexplored. The purpose was to study prison officer?s perceptions of older inmates and their care needs. The study was based on a qualitative approach in which prison officers at one prison were interviewed. The interviews were analyzed based on earlier research and from a social constructionist perspective.

The E-department at GETRAG All Wheel Drive in Köping have problems with the efficiency on parts of their production equipment. The equipment with the most significant efficiency problems are four automated multifunctional production cells that produces housing for rear drive units. The major part of the problem is the large amount of small stops that causes the low efficiency.The department already worked with logging of interruptions and efficiency calculations before this project started. However this work was not done to the extent considered necessary for a systematic follow-up of the interruptions.The aim of this paper is to point out a more effective and systematic way to work with logging of interruptions and the follow-up. In addition the equipment were studied with a method for efficiency calculation that ? if used properly- is a more powerful and a visually better method than the one used by the company today.As the initial current state analysis of the equipment was made a lack of documented knowledge about the equipment was discovered.

Detta examensarbete har genomförts i samarbete med byggteknikavdelning på Ramböll Sverige AB, i Norrköping/Linköping. På företaget finns ett behov av att förenkla arbetet med vindlastberäkningar för hallbyggnader enligt Eurokoden. Idag använder företaget en förenklad metod som överdimensionerar. För att kunna göra en mer exakt beräkning helt enligt Eurokoden och effektivisera arbetet har det i detta examensarbete skapats en beräkningsmall för detta ändamål. Beräkningsmallen har tagits fram i programmet Microsoft Excel.För att också kunna se konsekvenserna av att jobba med en förenklad metod, har det utförts en jämförelsestudie mellan två befintliga projekt på företaget.

The main objective of this study has been to explore how art therapists experience the visual art´s that can be used in the promotion of health among people with depression - and anxiety disorders. The concept of SOC- sense of coherence has been a central term and a link between imaging and SOC were identified in the study. The underlying method in the study was a qualitative form, where semi-structured interviews were used. Through a strategic- sample five female art therapist were contacted, who all came to participate in the study. The study is essentially based on hermeneutical method and the analysis of interview material has been analyst by using thematic analysis.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how an ADHD diagnosis late in life as an adult can have effected childhood and adult life. It is a qualitative study executed by interviewing four adults, two men and two women. The individuals in the study had all experienced difficulties in their childhood and in school and had all felt different from the rest of the ambient. None of the interviewees were on medication for ADHD but most were open for trying. Support from school or other settings had been minimal.

Syftet med studien var att genom intervjuer med personal inom socialpsykiatrin ta reda på deras upplevelser av stigmatiseringstendenser och mediabild i relation till personer med psykisk ohälsa och till sig själva som yrkespersoner. Tidigare forskning visar på stigmatisering, diskriminering och mediapåverkan i samband med psykisk ohälsa. En meningskategorisering av insamlat intervjumaterial fann mönster i intervjuerna beträffande individsyn, stigmatiseringsuttryck, mediapåverkan samt generell okunskap om psykisk ohälsa. Resultatet bekräftar tidigare studier om okunskap och mediapåverkan samt motsäger delvis tidigare forskning gällande diskriminering av psykiatripersonal. Resultatet visar även hur personalen inom socialpsykiatrin upplever att stigmatiseringen kan minskas utifrån ökad kunskap om psykisk ohälsa och medvetenhet om varje människas värde..
