What are the competencies and qualifications required by employers concerning the first line executives in medical care? In this paper we aim to scrutinise this question by analysing the significance of terms reproduced by employers in advertisements between 1971 and 2007.Our survey concerns 93 advertisements and two interviews with knowledgeable authorities on personnel administration in the county council of Jönköping municipality, Sweden. Using a theoretical framework developed by Ellström our results point out how the demands of the employer have changed starting in the 1970?s. Det är vetenskapligt underbyggt att det finns ett tydligt samband mellan omfattning av fysisk aktivitet och hälsotillstånd. Genom att öka den fysiska aktiviteten går det att komma åt en av de stora grundorsakerna till vällevnadssjukdomar, fysisk inaktivitet. Fysisk aktivitet på recept (FaR) är en metod i ett steg mot en mer hälsofrämjande hälso- och sjukvård och för att etablera en långsiktig förändring av samhällets syn på fysisk aktivitet. Utvärderingar visar såhär långt att mer motivation och kunskap krävs hos vårdpersonalen för att arbeta efter FaR-metoden. Syftet är att undersöka attityden till FaR bland sista-termins studenter på läkar-, sjuksköterske-, sjukgymnast- och arbetsterapeut- utbildningen, samt om utbildningarna gett förutsättningar att kunna arbeta med metoden i framtiden.

Approximately one third of all patients in primary care have a psychosocial component to their illness that requires adequate professional treatment. However, primary care is insufficiently prepared for these patients. The aim of this case-study was to evaluate a pilot project in primary care offering psychotherapy as a treatment alternative. The data collected includes 1) data from 352 referred patients regarding demographics, diagnosis, treatment duration and pre- and post health status, 2) a patient-satisfaction questionnaire and 3) interviews with six therapists and five medical doctors. The treated patients improved significantly and showed a high degree of satisfaction.

It has mostly been seen in Cavalier King Charles spaniels (CKCS). The condition seen in dogs is usually called occipital bone hypoplasia. The aim of the study was to examine whether there is a difference in the shape of the caudal fossa between CKCS, small bred dogs with a similar head shape and dogs with a normal head shape and if occipital bone hypoplasia is related to a head shape with a steep back of the head. Other aims of the study were to examine the crowding of nervous tissue in the foramen magnum in each breed group, the extent of syringohydromyelia and to what extent the malformation had caused neurological signs. Sculls from dogs on autopsy were divided in halves and the position of the cerebellum compared to the level of the foramen magnum was studied.

The result builds on our four main categories, confirmed as a unique indidual, the meaning of the information according to the patient, the humanistic side of the nurse, and the importance of humor in the meeting.

The aim of this essay is to study how parents to children with learning disability experences the support they get from society. My main question has been: what kind of support offer does society offer this parents? What is good and what is less satisfactory in this support? The study is based on a qualitative method. Five parents with children who has learning disabilities has been used as base. The material has been analysed with a narrative, hernmeneutic perspective.The study concludes that the parents, use in this case, find that society does not offer the necessary understanding for their problem of their family.

Mot bakgrund av detta ville jag ta reda på hur den interna och externa kommunikationen kan se ut på ett företag som inte har en publik målgrupp.Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur ett litet B2B-företags identitet och image uppfattas från tre olika perspektiv; ledningens, de anställdas samt kundernas. Föremål för min undersökning var Compware Medical, ett tyskt företag i medicinteknikbranschen som riktar sig till kliniker, sjukhus och fångvårdsanstalter.  För att få svar på frågeställningarna genomfördes kvalitativa intervjuer med informanter från varje grupp. Eftersom förförståelsen och involveringsgraden i ämnet antogs vara olika beroende på om informanten tillhörde ledningen, anställda eller kunderna användes en intervjuguide för respektive grupp.
