Team är en arbetsform som har funnits en tid tillbaka i historien men inte alltid under benämningen team. På senare år förekommer även team som arbetsform inom den offentliga sektorn och dess fördelar har uppmärksammats inom vården. World Health Organization förespråkar ett teamarbete med olika yrkesprofessioner för att patienten ska ses utifrån olika perspektiv vilket enligt dem bidrar till vinster både för patienten och verksamheten. Denna uppsats bidrar till att synliggöra detta då en intervjustudie har genomförts i vården med syftet att undersöka de anställdas erfarenhet av att arbeta i team samt att ta reda på teamets betydelse för lärandet. Sex stycken samtalsintervjuer genomfördes med teammedlemmar från skilda yrkesprofessioner och olika verksamheter inom vården.

The aim of the study was to look at the differences in groups in Karlskrona Kommun in comparison to a larger population of work-groups in Sweden. The instrument used was the Team Diagnostic Survey developed by Ruth Wageman, J. Richard Hackman and Erin Lehman (2005) in order to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses in work-groups, as well as explore the group?s behaviours and effectiveness. The results show that there was a significant difference between the Karlskrona Kommun groups and the larger population of Swedish groups in the following areas: stable, clarity, challenge, diversity, whole task, resources and availability..

Allt fler företag i dagens föränderliga värld betraktar väl fungerande arbetsteam som nödvändiga för att möta omvärldens alltmer skiftande krav. Ett effektivt team skapas dock inte över en natt. Vår avsikt med denna uppsats är att studera ett företag som förändrat arbetsprocesserna från individuellt till teambaserat arbetssätt och vårt syfte består i att lokalisera problem som uppkommit i organisationens strävan att skapa ett effektivt team. Genom en fallstudie av LRF Konsult AB i Luleå har vi efter genomförda intervjuer kommit fram till att det finns ett antal problem med att få teamarbetet att fungera. Det övergripande problemet består i att samarbetet i teamet inte fungerar tillfredställande.

Creating a database to manage medical data is not the easiest. We create a database to be used for a presentation tool that presents medical data about patients that is stored in the database. We examine which of the three databases, MySQL with relational design, MySQL with EAV design and MongoDB that are best suited for storing medical data. The analysis i performed in two steps. The first step handles the database that is most effective to retriev data. The second step examines how easy it is to change the structure of the various databases. The results show that depending on whether efficiency or maintenance is most important, different databases are the best choise. MySQL with relational design proves to be most effective while MongoDB is the easiest to maintain..

The aim of this paper is two-fold. Firstly, it is the production of a historical and chronological narrative describing the development of the Swedish Red Cross Hospital in Pusan during the years 1950-58. Secondly, it is the investigation of the objectives and aspirations of the organisations and institutions involved and how they affected how the hospital developed during the wartime years and up until the inauguration of the Scandinavian educational hospital, the National Medical Centre, in Seoul. Shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950 Sweden, a neutral nation, offered to send a contingent for the establishment of a 200 bed mobile field hospital which was to be subjected to the command of the Eighth US Army in Korea. In the end a larger semimobile evacuation hospital was set up in Pusan where both UN soldiers and PoWs were treated, and it came to be known as the Swedish Red Cross Hospital. The decrease in and finally the cessation of hostilities in 1953 opened up for treatment of Korean civilian patients and such work was conducted not only at the Swedish hospital but all over Pusan, though initially it was not formally sanctioned by American and UN authorities.

I dagens globaliserade värld, har mångfaldsmanagement vuxit fram som en nödvändighet likväl ett verktyg för att nå konkurrensfördelar. Forskning tyder på att mångfald bidrar till fördelar som kreativitet och bättre problemlösning. Undersökningar talar för att heterogena team, medlemmar med olika bakgrunder, erfarenheter och kompetenser, presterar bättre i jämförelse med homogena team. För att ta tillvara på de positiva effekterna av mångfald vid teamarbete, behövs ett aktivt förhållningsätt till mångfald och mångfaldsklimat. Studien undersökte hur företag arbetar med den existerande mångfalden, och belyser sambandet mellan företags mångfaldsmanagement och sammansättning av team.

Denna uppsats syftar till identifiera och förklara sambandet mellan belöning, inre motivation, yttre motivation och arbetstillfredsställelse med teamprestationer vid produktinnovation. För att kunna uppnå vårt syfte har vi utfört en surveyundersökning genom telefonenkäter med 69 företag. Vi fann ett positivt samband mellan teamarbete och teamprestationer vid skapande av innovationer. Vi fann också att belöningar ökar chansen för en individ i ett team att bli arbetstillfredsställd vilket leder till en framgångsrik innovationsprocess. Om företag ska lyckas skapa framgångsrika innovationer måste de ge innovatörer incitament i form av belöningar vilket ger upphov till arbetstillfredsställelse och en mer framgångsrik innovationsprocess..

Background: To wait on an emergency department is a reflected and well-documented problem. Thou it´s mainly due to a patient perspective should also nurses' perspectives be significant to obtain a faceted perception of the phenomenon.Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe how nurses perceive the phenomenon of anticipation of a somatic emergency department.Method: The analysis was performed using a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted in a medium-sized hospital in southern Sweden, during the latter part of 2005, and had a qualitative approach based on a lifeworld perspective. Data collection consisted of written stories from twelve nurses.Results: The results indicated that the waiting was the scene of the expectations. These expectations led to dilemmas, powerlessness and frustration, the more the phenomenon was allowed to stand.

The purpose of this study is to find out how and to what extent doctors use the hospital library?s collection of print and electronic medical journals. Major changes have the last years occurred in the journal collection. The journals are very costly and little is known about the user satisfaction with them. Therefore it?s important to examine how satisfied the users are with the collection and how they utilize it.

Bakgrund: Virtuellt arbete blir allt vanligare därför att tid och pengar kan sparas och arbetskollegor behöver inte finnas på samma plats för att samarbeta. Forskningen har dock inte hållit takten med utbredningen av virtuellt arbete, och forskning på team i praktiken efterfrågas.Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka konceptet virtualitet i praktiken, och hur virtualitet upplevs av medlemmar i team som arbetar virtuellt. Fokus ligger specifikt på geografisk spridning.Genomförande: Genom en litteraturstudie gjordes en sammanställning av olika dimensioner av virtualitet och hur graden av dessa kan bestämmas. Genom en kvalitativ studie av fem team som arbetar virtuellt fångades åsikter och upplevelser angående virtualitet. Resultat: Litteraturstudien visar att forskningen har börjat behandla virtualitet som ett attribut i alla team.

Att söka hjälp via allmänheten för att lösa problem har historiskt sett använts sedan länge,men först 2006 myntades begreppet crowdsourcing. Crowdsourcing är en modell där företagpublicerar problem som allmänheten erbjuds lösa. Att utnyttja allmänheten på kunskapenden besitter torde betyda att ?massans? förslag kommer att vara åtminstone lika bra ? ominte bättre ? som den enskilde individens förslag. Tidigare forskning har fokuserat påområdet från en organisatorisk samt individuell nivå.

Framgångsrik interprofessionell samverkan i team har bevisats öka patientsäkerheten i hälso- och sjukvården. Sjuksköterskor är ofta en del av interprofessionella team och en av deras kärnkompetenser är samverkan i team. För att uppfylla kärnkompetensen krävs kunskap om vad som påverkar samverkan. Syftet var således att belysa sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av samverkan i interprofessionella team. Metoden som tillämpades var en osystematisk litteraturöversikt med systematiska sökningar av omvårdnadsforskning.

The work place is becoming more flexible and an increasing number of employees report to a leader in another location or country. The borders between different countries, work places and cultures are diminished to a greater extent than before. Working from a distance means new opportunities in terms of competence development, flexibility in working hours, tasks and resources, a larger platform for various career opportunities and an expanded network. The purpose with this study is to examine how leaders can create a successful virtual team and motivate remotely. The qualitative study is carried out through interviews with leaders and employees within Nielsen Nordic.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a special unit for patients who is in the need for emergency life-sustaining measures and every patient has complex medical- technical equipment. The experiences of a critical illness and the needs of critical care are experienced in different ways. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences from patients in the ICU and how this experience has an influence on the patients. The method was a study of literature with a qualitative inception based on eight scientific articles and the analysis of content has been inspired by Graneheim and Lundman (2003). The result of the study is presented by four categories: to loose the ability to make themselves understood, to be forced to adjust to the environment of caring, to have the lack of connection with reality and to be in an intensive care environment, The results showed that patients in the ICU are affected by the attitude from the staff, the equipment around them as well as the sounds and lights in the environment there.
