At seed-growing the aim is to produce a commodity with high germination capacity, good soundness and purity, and also slight admixture of seeds from other species. The capacity of germination and the vigour of the seeds may become impaired in consequence of mechanical damage, infection of diseases, growth of mould, attacks of vermin, high drying temperature, secret germination, sprouting in the ears etc. The germ belongs to the outer and most unprotected parts of the seed, and consequently this is much exposed. Even quite sound seeds can instantaneously have low capability of germination. It can be due to the fact that the seeds are in rest of germination, i.e.

Avsikten var att hitta ett system som kunde hjälpa användaren att utföra sin flygverksamhet på ett kostnadseffektivt sätt och förenkla planeringsarbetet. Rapporten skulle vara en vägledning för bolag som står i begrepp att välja nytt färdplaneringssystem. I urvalsprocessen gjordes en marknadsundersökning för att välja de mest lämpliga systemen till utvärderingen.

AbstractThis report is about the creation of a test system for development of a control system for a off the shelf RC-helicopter, which can be bought for about two thousand SEK. The test system consists of both electronics for controlling the helicopter and mechanical constrainer. The constrainer is used for mounting the helicopter so that it won´t crash.A circuit board including processor and sensors was manufactured. This was used for doing test of the different control algorithms. In this way were we able to analyze the quality of the sensors chosen, and what other sensors that could contribute to the control of the system.Basic helicopter control have been studied and presented in the report.

Abstrakt Klämning mellan dörrblad och dörrkarm är en frekvent förekommande olyckstyp som drabbar såväl barn som vuxna i alla åldrar. I genomsnitt drabbas var fjärde svensk någon gång under sin livstid av så pass allvarliga skador till följd av klämning i dörr, att sjukhusvård krävs. Som regel är det handens fingrar som skadas. På marknaden finns ett stort utbud av tekniska lösningar som i någon mån syftar till att förhindra klämskador i kontakt med dörrar. Dock är de flesta av dessa lösningar utformade för dörrens gångjärnssida. För dörrbladets låssida existerar inget klämskydd som kan göra anspråk på att vara heltäckande.

Målet med examensarbetet är att utveckla ett grafiskt gränssnitt som markant underlättar användandet av mobiltelefoner för synsvaga personer. Examensarbetet gjordes i samarbete med företaget The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) i Malmö. TAT designar och utvecklar grafiska gränssnitt för mobiltelefoner. I dagsläget finns det ett flertal olika hjälpmedel till mobiltelefoner för synsvaga personer. Det finns även specialutvecklade mobiltelefoner som främst vänder sig till äldre men som även kan tänkas hjälpa synsvaga personer.

Examensarbetet genomfördes åt företaget Corus Byggsystem AB. Ett företag placerat i Halmstad som tillverkar profilplåt och lättbalk till tak och fasader. Företaget erbjuder även god rådgivning och skapar optimala lösningar för kunden.I företagets produktion finns det en maskin som pressar specialbalkar. Denna arbetsplats är varken produktionseffektiv eller ergonomiskt riktig då materialet och balkarna lyftes manuellt, i vissa fall även över huvudet. På tunga arbetsplatser är det oerhört viktigt att se över ergonomin, både för att förbättra säkerheten och för att öka produktionsvolymen.

At Rottneros pulp mill mechanical pulp is bleached with hydrogen peroxide. The changes of bleaching chemicals that are used for different grades are taken from bleaching tables; however these tables are old and need to be updated. The purpose of this thesis was to be the basis of new documentation.In this thesis three pulps where studied with the aim to find the optimal bleaching chemical changes (total NaOH/VP-quote) for each pulp. The pulps were taken from the filter before the bleaching tower and the pulps were bleached in the lab. The most important pulp property in this study was the brightness and how that was influenced by the chemical dosages.

Turning solar collectors, heliostats, is certainly not a new idea but has been explored for at least two decades. Projects on this subject have resulted in more or less realistic constructions, in a commercial point of view. Far too often the technical goals have had higher priority than the economical, which has resulted in a few constructions having the ability to compete with conventional, fix solar collectors. The economical issues have been given high priority in this project, without decreasing the demands on reliability. The system has been given the following mechanical and electronical properties: One-axis movement, fix heat carrying fluid system, microcomputer controlled movement and automatic protection from overheating.

För att ta reda på detta togs ett koncept på en dynamisk webbplats fram, i form av wireframes, under tre iterationer med hjälp av en iterativ designprocess. This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using different benchmarking models to measure and compare the efficiency of Swedish gas distributors. It also discusses to which extent the results of a benchmarking study should influence the revenue-cap which will be implemented in the gas distribution sector in Sweden from year 2011. The discussion is based on arguments from both theory and practical applications of benchmarking. The results suggest that benchmarking Swedish gas distributors against distributors in another country using a parametric model is most favorable, but the reliability will be increased if non-parametric models are used also. Partial and total productivity measures could be used to confirm results of other benchmarking analyses.
