These examples should cover as many types of controlproblems as possible. AbstractA continuous improvement of products and production is an important goal for a modern industrial company. A small engineering group located in Sweden came in touch with the authors of this report during the spring semester of 2014. The aim of this report is, as part of the group´s ambition of improvement, to analyse ways in which the quality of component casted parts can be verified. Non-destructive testing (NDT), and methods to use it for quality control, is the main focus of this report. However, fields such as material standards, component casting and quality engineering are analysed as well.

AbstractThe assignment were assigned by Camatec Industriteknik AB. Camatec is a Karlstadlocated consulting company, they make everything from pilot studies to complete projects in mechanical design and calculation. They even have their own patented product, Camcoil. It is a winder for steel strips and is used for example with hardening of the steel strip. The assignment has been to solve the problems encountered by some customers within this product.

Lime Hempcrete consists of lime, water and hemp and creates an insulating, sound-absorbing, lightweight and environmentally friendly material that can be used in wall, roof and floor structures (Bevan & Woolley 2008). This construction method is not yet developed in Sweden as there has been a ban on the cultivation of the hemp plant. This ban on the cultivation of hemp was removed in 2003, when the material got a boost. You can use it in many different ways and not just in the construction industry (Ahlsten, 2010).In this study we have investigated the possibility to produce prefabricated wall elements of LHC. We have also studied its mechanical properties and dehydration time.

This study investigates if, and in that case, how design theory is applied in practice in the web development field. Prior research has focused on methods used in the web development field. We wanted to study the designers role in a web design process by comparing existing designer roles with design theory literature. We did qualitative interviews with two practitioners at two different communication agencies in northern Sweden. Based on our qualitative data and literature review we have concluded that a designer has to devote a lot of energy on requirements engineering in order to develop a clear understanding of the design situation..

We got in contact with Marco AB, who we?ve had contact with before concerning earlier projects, to find out if they were interested in arranging a larger project for our last class (Examensarbete 15hp). They were very positive to this proposition, and soon they offered us a project regarding reconstruction of their current mechanical device that absorbs all the force from the lift itself when it is at a predefined level (sv. sjunkspärr). The current solution does fulfill the requirements that are given, however it is not a solution that gives a high level of satisfactory.

This bachelor thesis looks at developers knowledge about web security both regarding their own view on their knowledge and their actual knowledge about vulnerabilities and how you mitigate against them. Web developers knowledge regarding web security are becoming more and more important as more applications and services moves to the web and more and more items become connected to the internet. We are doing this by conducting a survey among developers that are currently studying in the field or are working in the field to get a grip on how the knowledge is regarding the most common security concepts. What we saw was that the result varies between the different concepts and many lack much of the knowledge in web security that is getting increasingly more important to have..

En marknadsundersökning av förekommande metoder för digitalisering av karosseridetaljer. Olika skannertyper analyserades och en rekommendation av lämplig metod lämnades till uppdragsgivaren. Förutom punktantal beaktades även punktorintering, inskanningskostnad/tid, positioneringssystem och mätrymd. Uppdragsgivaren rekommenderades att använda en optisk skanner för projicering av fransar med ett optiskt spårningssystem. Då tillverkning skall ske i mycket små serier berördes även olika tillverkningsmetoder, som exempelvis hydroformning mot ett formverktyg av aluminium eller kompositcement.

This examination work is the final work in our education to become a Bachelor of Science inMechanical engineering by the University of Lund.The main purpose with this work has been to develop a new effective material handling system for TPPM AB in Lund since the existing system starts to become out of date. The future system that is going to be installed shall have the capacity to support all machines with unit-, semi- and finished goods during full production. The work has also included studying the possibilities to change the material flow in a positive way between the storage and the production when one is using existing buildings.During our work we have been used a simulation program called AutoMod, performing company visits, interviews and reviewed internal and external information to create a picture of what the best conclusion can be. During the work we have contacted five suppliers to receive system solutions and quotatioris. The suppliers, which have been contacted, are Swisslog, Moving, Rocia, Christensen & Hansen and ABB.

Denna examensrapport redogör för hur man kan få en kortslutningsskyddadoch säker inkoppling av en DC-länk mellan två skiljda elektriska system.Rapporten bygger på hur en lastbil ska kunna få en större säkerhet för attbibehålla sina elektriska bromsar om tex ett av bromssystemen tappar sinordinarie matning.Lastbilens bromssystem består idag av två skiljda elektriska system med ett 24volts strömförsörjande batteri vardera. Det ingår två stycken elektriskabromsar i varje system. Om det tex blir fel på en av bromsarna och dennapåverkar ett av systemen vill man kunna koppla bort denna enskilda bromsmed sitt system. Man vill även kunna försörja den fungerande bromsen somsitter i samma system via en så kallad Axle Link. Denna strömmatningslänksitter mellan två hjulpar på samma axel.I denna studie undersöktes möjligheten att realisera en kortslutningsskyddadoch säker DC-överföring via en Axle Link, i första hand med diskretakomponenter.
