Köttfri Kommunikation : En studie av den digitala kommunikationen i kampanjen Meat Free Monday
Denna studie har genomförts för att undersöka hur Meat Free Mondays kampanj för att minska människors köttkonsumtion representerar och presenterar relevanta frågor om miljö och hälsa i delar av deras externa kommunikation.Syftet har varit att se hur miljö- och hälsofrågorna presenteras och representeras i Meat Free Mondays digitala kommunikation via videoklipp och delar av hemsidan. Vi har diskuterat vilka motiveringar som finns för att helt eller delvis sluta äta kött och utgått från tidigare forskning och teori i miljö- och hälsokommunikation. Vidare har vi utgått utifrån begrepp som kommunikationskampanjer och social marketing, och utifrån ett teoretiskt ramverk över miljö- och hälsoutfall undersökt vilka motiv och retoriska resurser som används i kommunikationen. Det har även diskuterats vilken roll och verkan Paul McCartney har som ambassadör för kampanjen.Studiens metodologiska ram har baserats på Karlberg & Mrals neoaristoteliska retorikanalys av både text och bild, och huvudsakligen de tre appellerna ethos, logos, och pathos. Materialet innefattar fyra videoklipp från Meat Free Mondays YouTube-kanal där Paul McCartney framför tal, samt delar av Meat Free Mondays hemsida, med innehåll som berör aspekterna hälsa och miljö.Studien visar att innehållet av Meat Free Mondays kommunikation kombinerar olika strategier för att stärka kampanjens teser. Budskapet förmedlas genom att anspela mycket på människors ekologiska drift och gemensamma värderingar, och användandet av den retoriska appellen pathos framträder tydligt i materialet.

This thesis was performed as assignment from Fazer Food Services. The aim was to survey which food additives that were present in the products in the quotation list of one of their suppliers to the Education and Nursing segment. The aim also was to perform a theoretical analysis of these food additives and to make recommendations which food additives are acceptable and which should be excluded from the products in the future. The recommendations are not published in this report, for more information Fazer Food Services can be contacted. Food additives which have already been approved are regarded as safe according to the safety evaluation methods available at the time of approval.

The purpose of this report was to obtain an overview of rabbit Meat production in the world, in terms of breeding and feeding. It examines how different feed components contribute to the health of the rabbit as well as the quality of the carcass, and the breeding strategies that are most common in the major producing countries. The production of rabbit Meat in Sweden is at present not very large, but it is gaining ground, and that is why this paper mainly deals with the rabbit production abroad. This report also examines the disease Rabbit Viral Haermorrhagic Disease (RVHD) in Sweden, where this disease can cause big problems.
The rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) is very special, both in its reproduction and digestion. There is no specific mating season and the digestive tract is designed to digest forage efficiently.

The aim of this study is to review the commercial quail production for eggs and Meat in the world. Another aim is to review the potential for increased production. Globally the quail production is very small, except in China where it is the second largest poultry industry. The production globally is small despite the quail's rapid growth, early sexual maturity and its high feed efficiency. The quail is also used as a laboratory animal and can be reared to be released in hunting areas.

about these brands is poor. We wanted to find out what the stores own brands stand for
and what the manager of purchase thinks it stands for. We choose to concentrate on Meat
and cured Meat and limit our study to ICA, Axfood and Coop because they are the three
main actors in the Swedish branch of grocery.
The supplier has traditionally manufactured products and made there own brands. These
products have been distributed and sold to the consumer thru stores.

Situation had a negative impact on company?s trademark, which acquired long recovery work by the company. Study is following a case example of Findus problems with having horse Meat in their Meat product that was supposed to contain beef Meat. Study aims to research how the company dealt with situation, through crisis communication and recovery strategies.

What factors correlates with the use of game meat, wild fish, berries and mushroom in Swedish households : urban vs. rural areas
This study was made to see too what extent Swedes uses consumptive resources such as berries and mushrooms, game Meat and Meat from fish in their household on a yearly basis. I have also looked into the difference between rural and urban areas in Sweden. Further aim was to determine what factors that correlates with the participation in berry and mushroom picking and the use of game and fish Meat within the household. The study was conducted in form of a mail survey that was sent to randomly chosen persons in every municipality in the six northern most counties in Sweden and in the county of Stockholm. In addition a sample was sent to randomly chosen persons on a national level.The results showed there is a difference in use between rural and urban areas in Sweden in all 4 investigated consumptive resources.

About four million sheep and half a million to one million cattle are exported annually from Australia to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Most of these animals are exported for slaughter, but some cattle are exported with the purpose of breeding. One factor that has been the driving force for the live export industry is that countries through tariffs and other barriers have favored the import of live animals rather than the import of Meat.The export means that animals with a great cognitive ability are exposed to a long chain of production from the farm to the market and there are many factors that can affect the welfare of the animals in a negative way. Some of the most serious are high temperatures and a high stocking density, although seasickness, noises and handling can also have a negative impact on the welfare of animals.

Cheap imports are competing with Swedish products and consumers, restaurant and retail let the price decided what to purchase. Swedish food producers can become better at communicating the added values that Meat and poultry produced in Sweden has. Social media gives companies a possible tool for communication in order to communicate and create a relationship with consumers. The rise of social media does not only affect consumer decisions making, but also corporate communication.
The objective of this project is to investigate how social media can connect the farmer to the consumer.
Vivesholm : djurbenen belyser den gotländska medeltida borgens husdjurshållning samt husgrundernas användningsområden
The castle Vivesholm is located about two miles north of Klintehamn on the west side of Gotland. The castle was built around year 1395 and burned down in the end of the 14thcentury. Around the 17th and the 18th century the castle was re-used. However, the emphasis on its use is during the middle ages.This paper aims at getting an insight in the animal husbandry at Vivesholm by analyzing the osteological material. The analysis revealed that bones from sheep/goat were more common than bones from cattle.
Wallenbergare : En jämförelse i sensorisk kvalitet
Inledning Wallenbergare var från början en elegant restaurangmaträtt bestående av en panerad kalvfärsbiff serverad med potatispuré, ärtor, lingon och skirat smör. Rätten torde vara uppkallad efter häradshövdingen Marcus Wallenberg någon gång under 1930- talet. Det finns många historier om Wallenbergarens uppkomst men ingen tycks veta med säkerhet vem som serverade den för alldra första gången.Syfte Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur val av styckningsdetalj, kryddning, temperatur och mixning påverkar den sensoriska kvaliteten i en Wallenbergare.Metod/material De tre metoder som användes under denna studie var en provmatlagning med en större mängd av variabler, en enkätundersökning gällande tidigare erfarenheter och uppfattningar om Wallenbergare samt en sensorisk bedömning av biffens sensoriska kvalitet.Resultat För att Wallenbergaren ska uppnå en konsistens av hög sensorisk kvalitet bör denna bestå av 75 % malt kalvinnanlår, 25 % kalvbräss, äggula, grädde och salt. En Wallenbergare bör endast smaksättas med salt och nymald vitpeppar.Provernas samtliga ingredienser skall vara väl kylda för att uppnå högsta sensoriska kvalitet. De prover som blandades med handkraft erhöll en lägre sensorisk kvalitet än de prover som blandades mekaniskt.
