MC-kriminaliteten är idag ett växande hot mot samhället. Det finns tre stora MC-klubbar med tillhörande supporterklubbar som utger sig tillhöra de enprocentsklubbarna som står utanför samhällets regler och lagar utan håller sig till deras egna bestämmelser. Gävleborgs- och Norrbottens län har under många år varit förskonade mot en större etablering av dessa klubbar. Av denna anledning så är det av intresse att fördjupa sig i vad orsaken är till att dessa klubbar inte har etablerats i dessa två län. Denna kunskap är viktig att erhålla som nybliven polis, detta eftersom att det i utbildningen inte finns inlagt i något moment som ett ämne och att det ger oss förutsättning för att kunna jobba effektivt mot denna typ av kriminalitet.

Syftet var att undersöka ungdomars kunskap och uppfattning om självhjälpsgrupper och självhjälpshus.Huvudresultat: Ungdomar har en låg medvetenhet och kunskap om självhjälpshus i Sverige. Däremot har de överlag en positiv inställning till grupperna och det finns goda möjligheter för att Solkatten i framtiden ska kunna locka till sig ungdomar i högre grad genom medveten och väl riktad kommunikation..

Electronic availability of information resources has increasingly become an important part of academic libraries everyday vocation. This is a fact that puts impetus on the libraries to know more about the way in which electronic information is being dispersed and handled. This thesis aims to comparatively evaluate Uppsala university library´s own metadata system Summon with the publicly available equivalent Google scholar. The evaluation is based on Péter Jacsó´s theories on database evaluation which concretely puts focus on Summon and Google scholar via the use and application of ten different criteria. The uses of precision and relevance criteria were also implemented as additional evaluation tools.

I byggproduktionen behövs noggranna förberedelser för att undvika störningar och kvalitetsfel. En form av styrnings- och planeringsverktyg är arbetsberedningar och egenkontroller som vi i detta examensarbete har undersökt. Syftet har varit att se hur de fungerar och att finna förbättringsmöjligheter för dem. I arbetet gjordes en intervjustudie som visade att anställda på Peab tycker att arbetsberedningarna är ett mycket bra hjälpmedel i produktionen och att användandet fungerar ganska bra i nuläget. Enligt medarbetarna finns det dock mycket som kan utvecklas och förbättras.

Career counselors in schools have for a long time reported a feeling that their work is not as important as teachers work. According to the Swedish Curriculum for the compulsory schools, all staff is responsible for viable counseling for pupils. Therefore, this study focuses on teachers, headmasters and a school executive director view of school career counseling, how they experience the fulfillment of curriculum goals and how it interferes/interacts with their work. To analyze the empirical material we collected from interviews, we used theoretical terms of organizational theory with focus on social structures, differentiation and integration. We also used the career theory of Super.

As demand for renewable energy is increasing rapidly, the market for biomass pellets is expected to continue to grow in the near future. Most of the new raw materials that are discussed for pellet production have one thing in common; the production costs will increase compared to using traditional raw materials such as sawdust and planer shavings. The aim of this thesis is to investigate to what degree increased use of new raw materials for pellet production will affect the general pellet prices in Sweden and to survey what plans Swedish pellet producers have concerning new raw materials. To investigate the raw material situation of the Swedish pellet producers an industry survey was performed. Literature studies were also made on previous research in the subject field. Calculations of the production costs for pellets were done for the raw materials sawdust, wet sawmill chips and energy wood respectively. New raw materials are already used by the large-scale pellet producers in Sweden.

Rapporten beskriver ett examensarbete på 10 poäng som har genomförts av Moa Jantze, möbeldesignstuderande på Carl Malmsten Centrum för Träteknik och Design vid Linköpings Universitet. Rapporten består i huvudsak av två olika moment. Det första som beskriver skånska allmogemöbler och -textilier ur ett historiskt perspektiv och den andra som beskriver arbetet med att ta fram två produkter med inspiration ur allmogen. Projektets bakgrund är ett möbelprojekt som engagerat mig under hösten 2004, där jag tog fram en gungstol som presenterades i Malmstens monter på möbelmässan 2005. Gungstolen fick mycket uppmärksamhet både i svensk och internationell press och därmed väcktes ett större intresse för historien och mitt ursprung.

Kulturstudier i undervisningen i moderna språk och huruvida de förekommer är det huvudsakliga temat som behandlas i rapporten. Syftet var att undersöka hur kulturstudier förekom i språkundervisningen, på vilket sätt det skedde, och om lärarna ansåg det viktigt att undervisa i kulturstudier. Några lektioner avsattes till observation och en enkät delades ut till de språklärare som arbetade på den skola där undersökningen genomfördes. Studien visar att lärarna tyckte att det var viktigt att ha kultursudier i språkundervisningen eftersom det ökar förståelsen för andra kulturer och respekten för oliktänkande. Kanske något motsägelsefullt, för man kunde vidare konstatera att kulturstudier förekom, men inte som ett planerat moment i undervisningen, utan det skedde snarare under mera spontana former.

For these purposes ITT Flygt sell a screw pump, PC-Grinder 3068. The hydraulic part of the PC-Grinder is manufactured by a subcontractor. Therefore ITT Flygt wants to evaluate an alternative to their screwpump PC-Grinder, which can be entirely manufactured by them self.

Feedback tools support electricity users within the Swedish residential sector to increase their knowledge of electricity and the electricity market as well as to become more aware of their electricity consumption, which in turn encourages a reduction and an increased flexibility of electricity use. The primary aim of this study is to identify and analyse how existing feedback tools can be improved, to ensure that they contribute efficiently to the achievement of the EU objectives congruent with a more sustainable energy system in 2030, emphasizing: greenhouse gas reduction, increased energy efficiency and an increased share of renewable energy. In order to reach the primary aim of this study, existing feedback tools have been identified and mapped and interviews with feedback tools providers have been conducted. The study is limited to three research areas: the practical functions of feedback tools, available technology and the use of feedback tools.The use of more efficient feedback tools will provide an increased success rate for energy management, which includes both behavioural changes and energy efficiency. According to the results from the interviews conducted for this study, an increased use and user frequency is important to utilise the energy management potential.

Uppsatsen är en reflekterande och behandlar ett verk som har skapats inom ramen för examensarbete i medier vid Högskolan i Skövde. Verket består av en datoranimerad sekvens med rytmisk sportgymnastik. Texten inleds med idén bakom verket och de mål som har satts upp för arbetet.Efter det ges en kort introduktion till rotoscoping och varför de vanliga metoderna inte fungerar i just detta fall. Därefter följer hur jag anpassat den traditionella rotoscoping-metoden till 3D-verktyget Maya och utvunnet rörelsedata för att vidare förädla rörelsen med hjälp av några av Disneys 12 animationsprinciper.Sedan tillkommer en redovisning av de estetiska moment som har ingått i framställandet av min animation och klarlägger den tekniska och kreativa processen bakom verket. Den centrala slutsatsen som presenteras i rapporten är att en utvecklad form av traditionell rotoscoping kombinerad med ett par av Disneys 12 animationsprinciper har använts och fungerat för att avbilda rytmisk sportgymnastik med band med hjälp av tekniskt låg kvalitativ referensmaterial..

This qualitative research is a contribution to the ongoing debate among marketing researchers regarding if there is a dominant paradigm and viewpoint of marketing and which one is the most appropriate. In this study current views of marketing are identified and then compared against the older Goods-Dominant Logic of Marketing and Vargos? and Luschs? alternative Service-Dominant Logic of Marketing. The trends that have been observed are situated in the framework of Thomas S. Kuhn?s philosophy of science.
