Vad händer med en plattas momentfördelning vid håltagning? Vilka förstärkande åtgärder kan göras för att motverka dessa? Hur påverkar förstärkningsåtgärderna momentfördelningen jämfört med den ursprungliga fördelningen? Dessa är några av de frågor som har legat i fokus vid framtagande av denna rapport. Utifrån dessa tankar har en litteraturstudie av olika bjälklagtyper och förstärkningar genomförts. Detta har resulterat i en sammanfattning av de tre vanligaste bjälklagstyperna samt en rad olika förstärkningsmetoder. Dessa metoder är t.ex.

Logistic Culmination ? One or Two Sides of the Coin?An Observation From a Different Point of View Logistic culmination can be compared to a stretched rubber band. If combat units moves in direction away from the supplies the rubber band will gradually stretch. The rubber band will eventually burst and at that point the logistic culmination will be a fact. But if the rubber band was to be let go before bursting, it will instead be contracted.

During the period called Little Ice Age (1400 ~ 1900) the climate of northern Europe was in an annual year-basis overall colder than it was before and after that period. The numbers of short, cold and rainy summers and long, bitter-cold winters where often repetitive under the approximately 500-years the period lasted. In Scandinavia, the coldest time during this period is estimated to have started around the end of the 16th century and lasted to the beginning of the 18th century. Trees growing at the tree-line are limited by temperature for their annual growth and hence showing differences of growth during changes in the climate,  a method called dendroclimatology. The variations of growth can be read in the tree-rings either by analyze the width of the ring or by look into the density of the wood and is used to reconstruct past climates.

Funktionsinriktad musikterapi (FMT) är en musikterapimetod som används för att stödja individen i dennes utveckling oavsett ålder och funktionsnivå. I examensarbetet analyseras på vilket sätt FMT kan stödja barn med autism i deras utveckling. Hur kan sensorisk integration hos dessa barn stimuleras i FMT? Av fallbeskrivningarna framgår det att de två barn som fick FMT båda har visat tecken på positiva förändringar inom samverkan/kommunikation, motivation, språkutveckling, perception och rörelsekoordination. Sensorisk integration ingår i alla dessa moment och det är därför svårt urskilja den som en separat funktion.

The Goal with this Master of Science thesis is to expand the possible turbine efficiencymeasurements on an exhaust turbocharger. It was done as a part of the CICERO competencecentre. To feed the turbine with air a special flow rig has been used. Instead of loading theturbine by just restricting the compressor flow a docking system for an electrical dynamometer isdesigned to use the dynamometer as an additional loading source. By using an electricaldynamometer as loading device for the turbine, measurements are not depending on compressorperformance.A large part of the work consists in designing accessories for the dynamometer.

During the transportation of logging residues (LR) the material´s low density is a problem that results in low use of pay-load capacity. Comminution or compression of LR are possible methods to increase pay-loads. In the present thesis studied a bundling machine which was mounted on a truck chassis, and the subsequent transport and crushing. The truck bundler created bundles that were larger and longer than other bundling equipment on the market. The objectives were to determine the total time consumption and its allocation over work element and machinery, to measure dry matter (DM) content of green and brown LR-bundles.

In this report an MCNP (Monte Carlo N-Particle) model is described for the reactor vessel at Ringhals 2. The model is validated against the specific activity in neutron dosimeters, extracted in 1977, 1984 and 1994. The validation showed that the calculations of the model are within the requirements of a maximum of 20 percent uncertainty for every neutron dosimeter except one, extracted after the first cycle. The uncertainty of this cycle was mostly due to the operation data rather than to the MCNP model.The model has been used to investigate various questions concerning radiation damage. The reliability of the traditional measure of radiation damage, fast neutron flux (En > 1MeV) has been evaluated.  This has been done by taking the ratio for this and another measure of radiation damage, DPA (Displacement Per Atom), for various positions and layers.

Datorns möjligheter erbjuder idag många olika sätt att presentera ett material på vilket torde vara ett viktigt redskap för inlärningen.Vi har skapat tre olika visualiseringsmetoder som vänder sig till eleverna på gymnasiet som har ämnet fysik i undervisningen.Metoderna består av en videofilm, text och bild (webbsida) samt interaktiv produktion. Innehållet i alla tre produktioner är det samma och behandlar delområdet energi. Syftet med studien är att försöka kartlägga vilken metod som är effektivast vad det gäller elevernas inlärning.Resultatet av denna studie visar att det inte finns någon generell metod som passar alla. Dock har vår studie visat att videoproduktionen var effektivast inom ramen för de uppsatta avgränsningarna..

This study highlights the stereotypical depictions of journalists in film using a narrative analysis of four major Hollywood productions, starting with All the President?s Men from 1976 through The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo from 2011. Its purpose is to highlight traits given to journalists in the movies and re-occuring themes in the portrayal of the media and the journalistic occupation. Differences and commonalities between the films are concluded in a discussion of ethics, personalities and the media?s self image.

Det här arbetet syftar till att utforma ett ergonomiskt lock till glasburkar innehållandelivsmedel. Locket ska ersätta de skruvlock som finns idag då dessa upplevs somsvårhanterliga bland reumatiker. Personerna i fråga har svårare att genomföra vissarörelser än andra vilket bland annat beror på stela och ömmande leder. Problemen ochsvårigheterna varierar men det kan vara rörelser som att greppa saker, användapincettgreppet (tumme och pekfinger), stödja, precisera samt vrida.Olika rörelser och positioner påverkar handens styrka och funktion. Den mestfunktionella positionen är när handen och handleden hålls raka, vilket inte är möjligtdå ett skruvlock ska öppnas.

The number of young women who self-mutilate in different ways has increased dramatically in recent years. Self-mutilation is a way of trying to feel better for the moment. People who self-mutilate often have some other underlying illness such as borderline disease. Women are overrepresented in this group of people and their behaviour is often rooted in a history of childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and psychic maltreatment. The aim of this study is to reveal thoughts about the future among young women who self-mutilate.

I dagsläget finns ingen bearbetad beräkningsmodell för fästplåtar enligt Eurokod. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att utforma en fungerande och lättförståelig beräkningsmodell för dessa fästplåtar. Arbetet har begränsats till fästplåtar med fyra och sex förankringar bestående av varmvalsat stål samt armeringsstänger som förankring. Beräkningsmodellen är uppbyggt med hjälp av studier på gamla beräkningar samt nya aspekter som anses vara relevanta som sedan översatts till Eurokod.  Fästplåten har analyserats utifrån normalkraft, tvärkraft och moment samt samverkan mellan dessa krafter. Varje ingående konstruktionsdels kraftkapacitet har kontrollerats och sedan sammanställts till en totalt tillåten kraft.
