This master thesis covers the seasonal planning of a small scale hydropower system. The system in this study is owned and operated by Mälarenergi Vattenkraft AB. The total system consists of 4 different main rivers with 24 hydropower stations and several dams. The total installed power in the system is 43.75 MW. Most of the hydropower stations are regarded as small scale hydropower stations and thus entitled to green certificates.In this report the issue of planning is formulated as an optimization problem.

However, despite that notion strength and function in the hand?s complex biomechanical system are in fact both needed to cope with daily life. The grip function is a main function in the hand and is used in many examples of scientific research, for instance when assessing physical health and predicting the probabilities of premature mortality.

I skolan talas det om hur viktigt det är att man bedömer varje individ utifrån skolverkets betygskriterier. På salongerna för den arbetsförlagda utbildningen har man andra kriterier när man bedömer eleverna, till exempel kundkriterier samt betalandekriterier. Syftet med denna undersökning har varit att ta reda på om eleverna blir likvärdigt bedömda på den arbetsplatsförlagda utbildningen och i skolan. Undersökningen har bestått av kvalitativa intervjuer med nio personer, inom kategorierna frisör, handledare samt elev. Undersökningens resultat visar att den arbetsplatsförlagda utbildningen och skolan lever i två helt olika världar. En av orsakerna är att handledarna inte har tillräckligt med tid att sätta sig in i kursplaner och betygskriterier samtidigt som lärarna inte tilldelas tillräckligt med tid för att kunna utöka samarbetet parterna emellan..

Syftet med utvecklingsarbetet var att studera eventuell förändring av elevernas motivation i lärandet om kostens betydelse för deras eget välmående. Undersökningen genomfördes i en grundskola i Norge. Undersökningsgruppen bestod av sex elever i år fyra. För att kunna studera detta använde vi oss av observationer där samtliga elever i år fyra observerades under varje lektionstillfälle. Under våra lektioner har vi haft olika moment där kosten varit det centrala.

This thesis describes the planning and development of a volume meter of pine and spruce cones. The product was designed and developed for Stigsjö Skog och Frö AB in Härnösand. It was developed taking into account a number of requirements set by the supervisor David Zetterlund. The main requirements were that the volume measurement would be fast and give accurate results. These are two requirements that are missing in today's volume measuring method which is very problematic for the company.The plant was visited several times in Härnösand, mainly to discuss the generated concepts with the supervisor and perform tests on the prototype.

Denna studie har undersökt vem som gör vad när flickor och pojkar laborerar i ämnet No och om det då finns arbetsuppgifter som är relaterade till kön. Studien genomfördes med strukturerade observationer i en grundskoleklass, år 3. Resultatet visar att i tre av fyra observationsmoment, Vem plockar fram?, Vem plockar undan? och Vem redovisar?, var det ett förhållandevis jämställt arbete medan ett moment gav ett starkt avvikande utfall. Momentet"Vem antecknar?"utfördes till övervägande del av flickor.

Reflektionsgrupperna har nu under några år varit ett obligatoriskt moment av socionomutbildningen på Malmö högskola. Detta är dock den första utvärderingen som har gjorts. Uppsatsens syfte är att få fram studenternas bild av reflektionsgrupperna efter att de slutfört de tre terminerna. Deras svar används i samband med bland annat gruppteori, symbolisk interaktionism och begreppet reflekterande praktiker för att få en tydlig bild på vad som är bra och dåligt med reflektionsgrupperna. Det som studenterna anser som positivt är att det finns ett forum för reflektion oc det som anses som negativt är bland annat att de är ostrukturerade och inte uppfyller deras förväntningar.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the function of the budget as a means of control within an organisation in the public sector. To accomplish this, a case study has been conducted on a certain business unit within Luftfartsverket responsible for providing Air Traffic Control services. The thesis is built on a framework of contemporary theories of budgeting and includes a brief discussion of the weaknesses usually associated with the traditional budget. The conclusion of the study is that the use of budget as a means of financial control within Luftfartsverket is not efficient enough at the moment.

The main goal with this thesis report was to come up with ideas of how to make the use of energy more effective and thus save money for the company.First a survey was made to find out where and how the energy consumers were divided within the company. The results were then used in calculations to find out how much money that could be saved and how long it would take to get back the investments.There is a big potential in saving money by recovering heat from the UV-lamps with a heat exchanger. It would also even out the pressure in the factory which is a source to heat loss and a cause for discomfort amongst the employees. It?s possible to save 105 000 kr in a year and the money needed for the investments is 600 000 kr.By using the recovery air more effectively the company could save up to 250 000 kr a year in lowered heat purchases, but this would require the use of automatic dampers.If you reschedule the running times for the wood chipper and invest in some kind of load management, for example Sydkraft?s ?Energidirigent? you can save at least 42 000 kr.

Studies indicate that between 6-9% of all children has some type of voice problems. Voice problems in children may have different etiology and can affect all ages. In Sweden, there is a lack of a standardized questionnaire addressed to children with voice problems and their legal guardians. The purpose of this study was to translate and validate the Pediatric Voice Handicap Index (pVHI) in Swedish children aged 6 to 10 years. The study was carried out through an internet-based assessment form for children referred to speech and language pathologist/ phoniatrican due to voice disorders in Sweden and a matched control group of children without voice problems.

Today cultivation of cereal in Sweden has high costs for establishment in relation to the rest of the world, and if this cultivation will be able to continue, the farmers have to control their costs. It is important to see all costs, not the maximum harvest achieved, but the net result. All farmers have different conditions with respect to soil, direction of the farm and were the farm is located geographically. With the right knowledge and ambitions, we think most farmers could change to reduced tillage. In this paper we have tried to find out if reduced tillage is an alternative for farmers.

I dagsläget finns ingen bearbetad beräkningsmodell för fästplåtar enligt Eurokod. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att utforma en fungerande och lättförståelig beräkningsmodell för dessa fästplåtar. Arbetet har begränsats till fästplåtar med fyra och sex förankringar bestående av varmvalsat stål samt armeringsstänger som förankring. Beräkningsmodellen är uppbyggt med hjälp av studier på gamla beräkningar samt nya aspekter som anses vara relevanta som sedan översatts till Eurokod.  Fästplåten har analyserats utifrån normalkraft, tvärkraft och moment samt samverkan mellan dessa krafter. Varje ingående konstruktionsdels kraftkapacitet har kontrollerats och sedan sammanställts till en totalt tillåten kraft.

accidentellt blivit exponerade för oorganiska fibrer i form av så kallade keramiska fibrer (RCF) vid reparationer av skadade värmeisoleringskassetter som omger de turbiner man levererar och driftssätter. Siemens har erbjudit alla som exponerats en hälsokontroll genom sin företagshälsovårdsleverantör Haluxa Arbetsmiljö AB. Sammanlagt rör det sig om 32 personer som erbjudits hälsokontroll. Hälsokontrollen har bestått av besök hos företagssköterska, spirometri och lungröntgen. Sammanlagt har 27 personer genomgått undersökning, i alla fall dock inte alla moment.

Syftet med det här examensarbetet är att få en djupare förståelse och mer kunskap om förskollärares syn på lek. Mina frågor är: Vad är lek och vad är lärande enligt förskollärare? Hur använder sig förskollärare leken för att utveckla barns lärande? Jag har gjort fem intervjuer med förskollärare från en förskola. Utifrån mina frågeställningar visar resultatet att: Leken är lärande av det vardagliga livet. Leken är frivillig och ska vara rolig.
