Detecting small signals with a comparator demands that the total voltage offset is lower than the actual signal. The total offset includes the voltage offset in the comparator and the voltage offset that is created by the offset currents that flows thru the load at the comparators input. The goal with this comparator that has been developed has been that it will have a total voltage offset at maximum 500 uV. The comparator does not need to be extremely fast or does not need to operate in a big frequency area. To have all the flexibility that is needed a full custom technique is used.

Background The Shetland Sheepdog is a popular breed of dogs in Sweden. The breed is mostly used as a companion dog and is also popular within certain dog sports such as agility. The Shetland Sheepdog is not included in any breeding programs regarding joint health. The animal insurance company, Agria had recently informed the Swedish Shetland Sheepdog Club (SSSK) that they had noted an increasing number of arthritis in the elbow joints, therefore they wanted to exclude elbow joints from the insurance until SSSK started a breeding program against elbow dysplasia. After the start of this study Agria withdrew their demand, but the study went on as planned. Aims of this study The aims of this study was to investigate if there is any data that may show if there is a larger or smaller reason than before to suspect that the breed has a problem with elbow dysplasia and therefore would benefit from a breeding program regarding this.

The aim was to identify if the veterinary nurse is as competent as the veterinaian in placing a nasoesophageal feeding tube. The aim was also to identify the complications with malnutrition and the advantage and disadvantage of the procedure. This essay is based on several interviews with both veterinary nurses and veterinaries. 16 persons were asked 4 short questions in conjunction with an intensive care/emergency and surgery congress in Gothenburg in February 2013. In addition 4 major hospitals that provided intensive care were asked to answer 5 more detailed questions, one answer from a veterinary and one answer from a veterinary nurse was requested.

The fertility of the North Swedish horse was investigated using a questionnaire. Data concerning altogether 73 North Swedish stallions and 213 mares used for breeding during the season 2005 were collected and analysed. The survey also included the analyses of 305 breeding case books, especially distributed for this study, from 27 stallions. The aim was to collect information on how the breeding was carried out in the North Swedish horse, and to learn what categories of mares that were covered and what routines were used in these farms. Breeding statistics from 1999 to 2004 was also analysed to complete the questionnaire.

Studiens frågeställningar var: Hur påverkar utförandet av övningen ?plankan? upplevelsen av smärta i nacke, axlar och skuldror hos deltagarna? Förändras den maximala uthålligheten i övningen mellan deltagarnas första och sista träningstillfälle? Kan interventionen fullföljas av deltagarna?Metod Fyra kvinnliga deltagare som alla hade kronisk/långvarig smärta i nacke, axlar eller skuldror utförde övningen ?plankan? som hemträningsövning under fyra veckors tid. Mängden träning dokumenterades i en träningsdagbok som deltagarna kontinuerligt fyllde i under träningsperioden. Före samt inom en vecka efter träningsperioden ifylldes en enkät med frågor om upplevd intensitet, frekvens och lokalisation av smärta.

Denna rapport behandlar automatisering av statorlindning vid monteringsline 4 för elmotorer på ABB Motors AB i Västerås. Målet med projektet var att hitta ett lönsamt sätt att automatisera delar av elmotormonteringen. Arbetet begränsades till att omfatta monteringsline 4 där motorer av storlek IEC 200- 250 monteras, dessa är de största motorer som produceras i Västerås. På grund av relativt små volymer och en omfattande variantflora måste en automatisering vara flexibel. För att nå en fungerande automatiserad lösning behövde flera praktiska materialhanteringsproblem lösas.

Diabetes mellitus type 2 and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) are two of the most common diseases in the world and the amount are increasing. The treatments of these diseases are self care and a change of lifestyle. For this to be successful there is a need for the person to have knowledge about the diseases and a motivation for making changes in his or her lifestyle. Most of this information is given by the district nurse at the health centre. It is important to get a better knowledge of these persons experiences and how they used the information given to them.

Retinoscopy, also known as skiascopy, is an objective method for assessing therefraction of the eye. This method has been used for a long time, both in animalsand human patients. According to the literature, it has been postulated that it is notnecessary to obtain cycloplegia before the examination in lower mammals. Someauthors even mention that it can make the examination more difficult. Therefore itis not recommended.

Avsikten med denna studie är att undersöka hur långt det går att justera ner ett reverbs efterklangstid på en efterinspelad dialog som är synkroniserad till en förinspelad scen i fyra olika lokaler med olika storlekar och akustiska egenskaper. Målet är att korta ner reverbets efterklangstid så mycket det går för att få maximal taltydlighet i scenen men ändå behålla rumskänslan. Studien visar att det gick att sänka efterklangstiden på reverbet i jämförelse med den riktiga uppmätta efterklangen drastiskt utan att förlora rumskänslan, i vissa fall upp mot 100 ms till 500 ms beroende på lokalens storlek. I studien undersöks även var gränsen ligger för, för lång efterklangstid för reverbet på dialogerna i de olika lokalerna respektive för kort efterklangstid. Resultatet visar även här att större lokaler är mindre känsliga för att justera klangtiden längre resp.

The most common way to treat wastewater in Sweden today is by a combination of an activated sludge process and a chemical treatment. These processes are not very energy efficient and may not be the most environmentally friendly. That is why it is interesting to evaluate new alternative methods to see if they can be less harmful to the environment and help to a lower resource consumption. New techniques are tested in a pilot installation at Hammarby Sjöstad, Sjöstadsverket. Målföretaget undersöks genom Talent management-konceptet People Equity. Vi baserar vår uppsats på empiri bestående av tolv kvalitativa intervjuer med medarbetare från företaget. Våra teoretiska utgångspunkter grundas primärt på Alvesson och Kärremans deskriptiva modell om hur företag arbetar med kunskapsstyrning, Model of managerial intervention. Utifrån analys av insamlad empiri placerar vi ut målföretaget på ovan nämnda matris.

Dairy farms have during a long time been under pressure and this situation was aggravated during the spring and summer of 2009, when profitability declined to historically low levels. Lower milk price and relatively high input prices have caused Swedish dairy farms great liquidity concerns and profitability problems. For a long time, Denmark has been identified as a leading country for the agrarian development with a leading structural rationalization and willingness to grow. In 2009, it was shown that the Danish agriculture, which is generally more leveraged, has difficulties in maintaining profitability and when market price of land started to fall, the proportion of technically insolvent agricultural enterprises rose dramatically. In light of this prevailing situation, this study highlights differences between Denmark and Sweden with the hope to learn from each other.

Vårt syfte är att undersöka huruvida det är möjligt att identifiera variabler som påverkar valet av kommunikationsmedia där kontexten utgörs av en affärsrelation. Vi strävar efter att i vår slutsats kunna presentera en viss vägledning i valet av kommunikationsmedia. I denna studie har ett kvalitativt angreppssätt använts. För att skapa en teoretisk förankring har vi behandlat relevant och aktuell litteratur bestående av i huvudsak vetenskapliga artiklar och böcker. Som metod för att besvara vårt syfte har vi även använt oss av intervjuer.
