Studiens syfte är att undersöka elevers uppfattningar om matematik och hur mycket och vad lärare vet om sina elevers uppfattningar. Syftet är även att undersöka vad lärare anser om användbarheten av kunskaper om enskilda elevers uppfattningar. Studien innehåller en teoretisk och en empirisk del. En fallstudie har genomförts i en klass i år 6. Den empiriska delen är uppdelad i tre delar; elevenkäten, lärarenkäten och lärarintervjuerna.

In this essay, Neolithic potsherds from Alby, Öland has been examined. The purpose was to investigate the connection between the lipid residues and the vessel shapes and ornament. To solve the attempt lipid and morphological analyses were executed. The lipid analysis revealed traces of different food residues and the morphological method showed various shapes and decors. The result indicates that the Alby ceramics has been used for cooking/storage of different fish and meat dishes, as well as vegetables and that the vegetables doesn?t derive of cereals..

The aim of the study is to describe and analyze bank officials' views about what auditors will do. The main motivation comes from the government?s proposals that the audit duty will be abolished and it can lead to that bank officials in a bigger extent can influence the audit?s formulation. It can also lead to that a consumer audit becomes reality. The study covers a sample of 302 bank officials where 153 have participated through a survey questionnaire.

In this study we examine how the image of women, through framing and stereotyping in interviews, is constructed in the Swedish television morning show Gomorron Sverige on International Women?s Day. Our study is based on qualitative method, using the ECA (Ethnographic Content Analysis) model.Our main theoretical assumptions are that media contributes to constructing the images of reality we see in our heads, and that the images of women mediated through television are stereotypes which are displayed in the presenter?s questions and in the respondent?s answers. By defining the problems related to International Women?s Day, showing causal connections, making moral judgments and presenting solutions, television contributes to the viewer?s perception of what is important, why it is important, what is wrong and how to make it right.Based on our theoretical assumptions we have divided our study into three analytical themes:1.

With the introduction of the Swedish Code for Corporate Governance in December 2004, most companies listed on the major Swedish stock exchanges were required to have a nomination committee responsible for, among other things, evaluating the incumbent board and nominating new candidates. This master thesis aims at analyzing the effects of these nomination committees on institutional investors in their corporate governance, through a qualitative study of 13 interviews. We have found that institutional investors have become more active through their participation in nomination committees and that they have gained more influence over the companies in which they own shares. Mitt syfte med detta examensarbete är att se hur man bör hantera elever med behov av särskilt stöd i matematik. För att få en bättre förståelse för ämnesvalet har jag läst i litteraturen om hur vanligt förekommande matematiksvårigheterna är, vilka hinder som finns för inlärning i matematik samt hur man ska hantera eleverna med behov av särskilt stöd. Dessutom har jag genomfört en undersökning i år 6 på två olika skolor. Jag har intervjuat lärare och speciallärare om hur de hanterar de elever som inte nådde upp till godkänt på det nationella provet i matematik i år 5. Jag har även studerat skolornas kommunala skolplaner samt lokala arbetsplaner, för att se vilka riktlinjer som ges i arbetet med elever i behov av särskilt stöd.

I denna uppsats tänker vi analysera ett systemutvecklingsfall där en användare hade väldigt stor roll i utvecklingsarbetet. Syftet med studien är att bidra till ökade kunskaper om vilka faktorer påverkar nyttan av användarmedverkan i systemdesign. Vi gjorde en fallstudie om ett projekt där författarna hjälpte en läkare att utveckla en applikation för att hålla reda på blodaccesser hos dialyspatienter enligt en användarcentrerad metod. Det visade sig att användarmedverkan gick mycket bra och var avgörande för kravspecifikationen och design av databasen men design av gränssnitt gick mycket sämre. Analysen visade att problemen uppstod främst när gränssnittsdesignen utfördes utan användaren.

For many years, the construction industry in Sweden has not developed much of an integral approach for design across disciplines. The sector?s impact on society, economics and environment is huge. To make the interactions within the construction industry more efficient, a relatively new concept called BIM (Building Information Modeling) has been introduced. The idea with BIM is that the different actors of the construction industry will work through intelligent CAD software, with common file formats and more cooperation between different actors during the various steps of the building and construction process.The technical consultancy company WSP Sweden is working actively to implement BIM within the frame of its activities.
