The expectations of a successful outcome are great during childbirth. The overall objective of prenatal care and birth care is that midwives contribute in creating the most positive experience of pregnancy, child birth and infancy as possible. During the past 30 years there has been a significant increase in sectiofrequency both in Sweden and the rest of the Western world. More parents feel an overall insecurity when it comes to child labour. The purpose of this study was to describe how midwives experience the work of creating a sense of security and good nursing when meeting the expectant parents.

Hur en användare upplever ett material har också undersökts.Information har samlats in i två undersökningar; en om trender, marknad ochkonkurrenter samt en om material, leverantörer, tillverknings- och ytbehandlingsmetoder.Tre subjektiva test har gjorts på taktilitet för att få reda på hur vissa material upplevs avanvändare. Testerna utfördes med hjälp av materialprover, frågeformulär ochtestpersoner.Ett objektivt test på friktion utfördes också där friktionskoefficienten mellan ett materialsyta och fingertopparna räknades ut.

Uppsala- och Stockholmsregionerna använder Mälaren och dess tillflöden som dricksvattenkällor. I Mälaren varierar halten organiskt kol från år till år och kan medföra problem såsom oönskad lukt, smak och färg vid dricksvattenrening. Det kan även vara problem med avseende på bildning av desinfektionsbiprodukter (DPB) och transport av toxiska ämnen med dricksvattnet. I takt med den globala uppvärmningen kan dessutom halten av organiskt kol i Mälarens ytvatten och dess tillflöden öka. Det medför att halten av organiskt material även skulle öka i vattenverkens råvatten och det skulle i sin tur uppstå svårigheter att hålla dagens gränsvärden.

Inadequate data quality has a negative effect for organizations, however utilization of modern technology and data analysis may shape new values for organizations. Our research has found that the quality of information in field reports for error reporting varies significantly. In many cases, the information in the field reports are deficient in such way that the field report need additional information from the sender, thus risking prolonging lead times in the error reporting process. More efficient use of information has become possible with today?s technology.

When Swedish Meats sold the slaughtering and processing components, it ceased in some respects to serve the function of a cooperative. This is a lost opportunity for both members and non-members, because Swedish Meats as a functioning cooperative could have exploited its dominant market position to positively effect producer?s prices.

In this essay I examine how the norm-critical material ?BRYT! ett metodmaterial om normer i allmänhet och heteronormen i synnerhet? is used by Hyresgästföreningen in Stockholm in their education of personnel in the perspective of equalisation. I?ve mostly been interested in how the personnel who takes part in workshops about the material react and reflect in relation to the purpose of the material. How do they discuss about norms and the connection to discrimination and how do they look upon the power and responsibility that comes with power in relation to norms?  Earlier research in norm critical pedagogy and the critic of tolerans pedagogy perspective helps me to analyse how critical pedagogy stands above non-critical pedagogy in many perspectives.By observing workshops and by interviewing personnels taking part in these workshops I?ve examined how they react on both the practical and theoretical parts of the material.To summarise my examination I find the personnel who is educated in working with the material discover new experiences in knowledge and on how norms and discrimination functions.

Många av de uppladdadevideoklippen är upphovsrättsskyddade och just sådana videoklipp har visat sig tendera att varasärskilt efterfrågade bland användarna.I den här uppsatsen tittar jag på användarnas beteenden på YouTube i form av en observationnär de laddar upp upphovsrättsskyddat material. Jag undersöker hur användare ställer sig tillupphovsrätten och de regler som råder på YouTube genom en enkätundersökning. Slutligenintervjuar jag två advokater specialiserade inom området för att ta del av deras professionellasynsätt.

Inom Östgöta Städs bransch finns det inte många studier om styrning av lager, interna materialflöden eller intern orderhantering. Östgöta Städ AB är ett av Sveriges största entreprenadföretag inom sektorn privat service. De har sitt huvudkontor i Norrköping och detta arbete begränsar sig till Norrköpingsavdelningen.Syftet med examensarbetet är att kartlägga flöden av information och material samt att granska möjligheten att använda sig av lagerstyrning . The dialysis ward at Karolinska University Hospital is a highly pressurized work environment filled with critical treatment situations where patient?s lives can be constantly in danger. Staff have to deal with a myriad of alarms and error codes in response to their patients varying ailments. The workforce at the dialysis ward lack controlled environment training, sufficient to address all of the potential treatment scenarios, with no risk of jeopardizing the patient?s condition.The purpose of this essay is to design and test the efficacy of using an IT based device for dialysis education at Karolinska University Hospital.The main topics this essay intends to address are:? Identification of user scenarios and training fields.? Prioritization of key training areas.? Utilization of IT in effective staff training.? Design of a conceptual prototype.The process focuses on the user and their needs.

The main purpose of this study was to determine the impact of bedding material on the faecal microflora of horses. Another objective was to investigate the hygienic and physical qualities of the bedding materials used and how these may change in the course of the trial period. The bedding materials used were sphagnum peat and wood shavings. Six horses had each material as bedding for a three week period in a change?over experiment.

When I was fifteen I decided that I wanted to become a blacksmith. At the time of my decision I had been obsessed with fantasy for several years. I came to the conclusion that if I could not live in a fantasy world then at least I would make bits and pieces from it. That became the entry point of my fascination for material and techniques. I started with blacksmithing since it had an aura of magic or mystique in the material and in the making process.

In this thesis I set out to study how the reading of fictional literature is viewed, legitimatized and operationalized in two educational domains: the recently revised steering documents that all Swedish teachers must relate to, as well as a selection of teaching materials designed for education in the Swedish language for upper secondary school. The teaching material I have studied has been recently updated in order to correspond with the new steering documents. I relate my analysis to previous research about the use of fiction in education, and I also combine my analysis of the two educational domains to see whether the underlying intentions of the steering documents have influenced the revision of the teaching material. The outcome indicates that the steering documents? previous focus on culture has diminished although a certain insecurity as to how to use the concept and deal with the issue of whose culture should be taught can be identified.
