Syftet med uppsatsen var att ta reda på mer om matematiksvårigheter och pedagogers syn och erfarenhet av detta. Syftet var även att finna ny kunskap om olika arbetssätt, vilket resulterade i insikten om olika laborativa material och dess betydelse för matematikundervisningen.Författarna valde att genomföra studien med hjälp av att låta pedagogerna skriva berättelser. För att vinna ny kunskap har författarna delvis använt sig av hermeneutisk metod för att se helheten genom de olika komplexa delarna.I studien har det visat sig att det är flera faktorer som påverkar elevers matematiska svårigheter. Det kan vara allt ifrån den kognitiva förmågan hos eleven till den omgivande miljön.Uppsatsen har givit författarna många tankar kring hur man kan arbeta med framförallt laborativt material. Några spännande förslag finns under sammanfattande avslutning där de presenterar vad man skulle kunna studera vidare..

This control is mainly given by the combination of the cars springs, shock absorbers and anti-roll bars.The aim of this report is to investigate, analyze and measure a Porsche Boxster?s turn in behaviour and roll dynamics as well as with the aid of simulation results give suggestions for improvement of the previous mentioned combination.Two different simulations were made, one based on a simpler model that was based on an evolved version of the bicycle model in Matlab and one was more advanced model in the simulation software rFactor. Measurements of the real car was made using a GPS-based measurement system.

Aggression is a normal part of a dog?s behaviour repertoire and has always been an evolutionary relevant behaviour. Even if aggression in some contexts is relevant, it is one of the most common problem behaviour reported by dog owners. It has been discussed if some breeds are more likely to show aggression and therefore should be banned. We have redone these activities to ontologies by forming general and specific descriptions of the activities.

This paper is an account of the work around the arrangement and registration of the archive of the Swedish Art-ists? Association?s archive. The Swedish Artists? Association is an association of artists that both makes exhibi-tions for their members? works and handles the Artists? House, called Konstnärshuset in Swedish. During the work with the archive the author faced a number of challenges and problems.

I dagens samhälle råder det ofta en bristande kunskap hos butikspersonal gällande textila material, och de har ofta problem med att besvara kundernas frågor gällande exempelvis krympning, fällning eller tvättråd. För att en butik ska kunna utmärka sig från e-handeln är det av största vikt att personalen är experter på dessa frågor. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka om den textila materialkunskapen hos butikspersonal är tillräckligt god för att matcha kundens förväntningar. Studien har genomförts med hjälp av tidigare forskning, samt egna undersökningar. Vi har utformat och genomfört två olika enkäter, en riktad till butikspersonal och en till kunder, samt genomfört en deltagande observation i butik.

The purpose with this thesis is to research what function the National Library Catalogue of Sweden (LIBRIS) has as an information resource for Chinese language material. How is LIBRIS used as an information resource seen from the point of view of a users specific language need. This will be exemplified through an empirical survey of three user groups with different prerequisites concerning their knowledge in Chinese. Group A were beginners and had studied Chinese for one year. Group B were advanced students who were studying their third year of Chinese.

Optimering av olika fogberedningsvinklarför svetsprocessen TandemMIG/MAG var målet för dettaexamensarbete. Frågan var omprocessen tillät en minskadfogberedning med likvärdig kvalitet.Svetsförsök utfördes på olika materialmed olika fogberedningar. Parametrarändrades och optimerades för olikakombinationer av material ochfogberedningsvinklar. De olikamaterialen reagerade inte på samma sättgällande minskad fogberedning. Smådiskontinuiteter och olikheter ifogberedningen hade större effekt påkvalitet och stabilitet närfogberedningsvinkeln minskades.

This master?s thesis investigates publishing of Swedish literary classics on the web. The purpose is to find out who is publishing and why, and what practice of publishing is used. The purpose is also to find out what importance the publishers attach to textual quality and proofreading. For these questions the ?Guidelines for editors of scholarly editions? by MLA is used.

In 2009 The National Land Survey of Sweden, Lantmäteriet, commenced a project intended to provide a new digital elevation model (DEM) of Sweden. The method chosen for the project was airborne laser scanning (ALS). In addition to information about the land surface the project will also provide information about the forest, this as a by-product. This data can be used to estimate forest variables such as height and volume. The estimates are often more reliable than what is standard today. This study is based on interviews with employees and members of the forest owner association Södra in southern Sweden.

Denna uppsats handlar om laborativ undervisning i matematik i en klass 3-4. Den laborativa matematiken anses bra för att den hjälper eleven att förstå det abstrakta med hjälp av konkret material och diskussion. Syftet med uppsatsen är med hjälp av observationer undersöka den laborativa undervisningen som många undersökningar anser vara bra och hur en laborativ undervisning kan se ut. Syftet är också att se hur språket och kommunikationen mellan elev-elev eller lärare- elev bidrar till utveckling. Uppsatsen utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv med Vygotkij som frontfigur.

All companies wants? to be as profitable as possible. The company in question is one of the leaders in it´s field in Sweden. In order to increase profits as much as possible it is important to identify and eliminate eventual quality defect cost as far as possible.This study was performed in Huddig AB, and the purpose of this study is to try to develop a routine for monitoring the quality defect costs, and to improve communication and create feedback between production and aftermarket.In addition to an extensive literature review on quality defect costs most of the work have been conducted at the company. Own observations and interviews have been done with the staff to get a picture of the current situation and to try to come up with improvement proposals.During the study it was proved that much of the quality defect costs in essence, derived from the production, which is seen as positive because it is the easiest part of the company to improve.

Intermodulated force microscope (ImAFM) is a type of dynamic AFM. ImAFM opens up possibilities for mapping the topography and making quantitative determinations of material parameters at the same time. With increased information the need to generate more informative images of the sample emerges. In this Bachelor's degree project I have created tools for rendering images of a sample. The topography is plotted as the height and a material parameter is color coded on topography.

Denna rapport är resultatet av ett 10 veckor långt examensarbete om logistik i byggbranschen. Rapporten ska redovisa för- och nackdelar med Just In Time-logistik jämfört med lagerföring av material på byggarbetsplatsen. I arbetet ingår även att redovisa vissa extra kostnader som tillkommer i samband med respektive alternativ. Rapporten jämför de olika logistikmetoderna och utgår ifrån tre olika byggprojekt i stockholmsregionen som har helt olika förutsättningar. Målet med rapporten är att ta reda på om byggbranschen kan effektiviseras med Just In Time-logistik. Som hjälp för att nå målet har bland annat intervjuer gjorts och en enkät delats ut till de berörda på varje projekt.  Vad som kostar mest är inte helt enkelt att bestämma då vissa osäkra parametrar ingår i resultatet.
