This paper examines in what way the heterosexual matrix is challenged by Stephenie Meyer in Breaking dawn (Så länge vi båda andas). By doing a thematic study on the various family constellations appearing in the novel, I search for the queer elements in it. I discuss incest, family building and motherhood, and find that there are numerous queer elements associated with the themes I have chosen. I conclude that the Cullen family challenges the heterosexual matrix, despite not being typical queer vampire characters. I also find that building a successful family is not based on gender or constellation otherwise, but is instead dependant on democracy and equality.

The purpose of this paper is to standardize and simplify the design work on a few specific types of storage brackets for balconies. The company Balco AB had the wish to simplify the design work in the preparation of attachments to their balcony structures. This would be done by a calculation matrix that could be produced which then in turn could be used for each new project by the company. The design work behind the development of these fittings at each new project is costly both in terms of time devoted by each calculation but also the cost of the time. The purpose of this report is that in a systematic manner, a calculation matrix can be created that then the company instead may follow from each new project.In carrying out the project used HILTI calculation program, which was provided by the company HILTI.

Kandidatarbetes syfte är att klarlägga vilka rättighetsupplåtelser för ledningar som används på kommunal mark. Vi har genom litteraturstudier kommit fram till att kommunerna och ledningshavande bolag idag kan använda olika former av nyttjanderättsavtal, avtalsservitut eller ansöka om ledningsrätt. Tredimensionell fastighetsbildning kan även tillämpas. Då  uppkommer en total äganderätt istället för ett partiellt ianspråktagande av mark, som de tidigare nämnda rättigheterna ger. Vi har också intervjuat representanter på fem kommuner i Stockholmområdet, tre ledningsägande bolag samt Lantmäterimyndigheten (LM) i Stockholm.

Bakgrund. Fysiska tester används för att kunna förutsäga idrottsprestation, finna talanger, upptäcka fysiska brister och minska risken att idrottaren drabbas av skador. Många konståkare genomför fysiska tester vid flera tillfällen under en karriär men dessa tester utförs sällan på is. Syfte. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det fanns linjära samband mellan konståkares sprintprestation på is och på mark samt mellan dessa resultat och konståkares personbästa (PB).

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how gender and sexuality are made in the videogames Prince of Persia and Fable II, and more specifically to look at possibilities and limitations for the construction of gender and sexuality in these games. I understand videogames as an interactive media form that differs from other types of media like film and literature. It is a media form that depends on a player to be played. At the same time it is constituted by rules of how it can be played. I have analyzed my material by a method called close-playing.

The thesis presents an optimally designed kinematic structure for a new 6-DOF haptic devicebased on TAU configuration. The configuration of the TAU-2 proposed by Suleman Khan andKjell Andersson [1] was modified and its mobility was verified by using Grübler criterion tohave a 6 DOF. Analytical kinematic models for the inverse and forward kinematics weredeveloped for the haptic TAU configuration to determine a set of optimal design parameters.Kinematic performance indices such as volume of the workspace, kinematic isotropy and payload index, were defined based on the singular values of the Jacobian matrix. The Jacobianmatrix was scaled to homogenize the physical units. The Jacobian matrix dependent on theposition and orientation of the end-effector gives local isotropy and pay load index, so globaldesign indices were defined, which represent the performance of the mechanism in the wholeworkspace.

Matrix metalloproteinaser (MMPs) är en grupp proteolytiska enzymer som degraderar komponenter i vävnaders extracellulära matrix (ECM). Dessa proteiner spelar en viktig roll i många fysiologiska och patologiska processer. Enzymerna anses vara delaktiga vid olika typer av hjärtsjukdomar där de genom att utöva sin effekt påverkar sammansättningen hos ECM. Aktiviteten hos MMPs hämmas av TIMPs (tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases) som är enzymernas specifika inhibitorer. Balans mellan nedbrytning och uppbyggnad av ECM är nödvändigt för att bibehålla hjärtvävnadens normala struktur och funktion.

Naturvårdsverket har bedömt att det i Sverige finns cirka 80 000 områden med risk att klassas som förorenad mark. För utvärdering av denna mark utförs miljöriskbedömningar med syftet att bedöma sannolikheten för att en skada skall uppstå, samt fatta beslut om eventuella åtgärder. För detta krävs att hänsyn tas till både osäkerhet och variabilitet för att förhindra utförandet av otillräcklig eller överdrivna åtgärder. Två viktiga aktörer i Sverige vid utföranda och utvärderingen av förorenad mark är Länsstyrelsen och konsultföretag. Då dessa parter har stor påverkan på den utvärdering som sker av förorenad mark var syftet med denna studie att undersöka deras syn på miljöriskbedömning, osäkerhet och variabilitet.

I den här uppsatsen beskrivs en ansats till att med hjälp av statistiska metoder förutse utfallet i förmögenhetsra?ttsliga dispositiva tvistemål. Logistiska- och multilogistiska regressionsmodeller skattades på data för 13299 tvistemål från 5 tingsrätter och användes  till att förutse utfallet för 1522 tvistemål från 3 andra tingsrätter.  Modellerna presterade bättre än slumpen vilket ger stöd för slutsatsen att man kan använda statistiska metoder för att förutse utfallet i denna typ av tvistemål..

The purpose of this thesis is to study how preschool teachers can reach the goal of the swedish educational plan to prevent traditional gender roles for children ages 3-6 through drama in education.This is answered by four hypothesis based on Judith Butler's queer theory, George Herbert Mead's social psychological theory and Gavin Bolton and Dotothy Heathcotes drama pedagogical theories. The hypotheses are tested against four teachers' examples of their work.The hypotheses areHypothesis 1: By using the expert's mantle and active observation in teacher-in-role indrama educational exercises, we can see how the children internalize the heterosexualmatrix and the outline of the internalized other.Hypothesis 2: By using the "mistakes" that occur when children repeat performativeacts that do not fit with the heterosexual matrix, these other possible behaviors can bestrengthenedHypothesis 3: Through drama exercises that are not normative teachers can widen theheterosexual matrixHypothesis 4: Through drama pedagogical methods like teacher-in-role teachers canprovide possibilities of other performative acts and the creation of a more tolerantinternalized other.The analysis show that the respondents work within all these hypotheses in different ways and thathypotheses 2 is the one with the weakest support in the interwievs. The examples are also weakregarding the use of Boltons drama pedagogical methods, but that there are a number of othermethods in use.Some of the conclusions are that more theoretical knowledge in the preschool drama pedagogics tocounteract traditional gender roles and patterns, as well as the drama of educational theory need tobe linked to queer and social psychology research. During September 2010, Google decided to change their trade mark policy to allow keywords which is equal to an already own trademark to be offered to all who intend to link the word to their ad. They offered a service for this called Adwords. The update followed since The Court Of Justice (CoJ) stated that Google does not commit trade mark infringement by doing this. The question to answer is whether the proprietors of trademarks can do something to stop them from being used by competitors as keywords in Adwords. CoJ has stated that the advertisers are infringing the exclusive right of a trademark if the used keyword is identical to the trademark, the commercial focuses on products that is identical to the products which are registered on the trademark and if the commercial makes it difficult or impossible to an average internet user to decide whether the products originate from the proprietor, a company which has a financial connection to the proprietor or a third party.

Examensarbete syftar till att undersöka dels vilka byggherrar som genomför bostadsprojekt och dels hur markägorförhållanden såg ut när exploateringsprojekten initierades i olika kom-muner i Stockholms län. Dessutom undersöks antalet tillkommande bostäder. Undersökningen har gjorts genom granskning av detaljplanhandlingar, som vunnit laga kraft mellan åren 2005 och 2009, i åtta kommuner i Stockholmsregionen.I alla kommuner genomförs de flesta projekt, som är av större omfattning, av olika professio-nella byggherrar, men det förekommer att även mindre byggbolag genomför planen. Alltså finns det en stor variation av olika byggherrar i de flesta kommuner. I några kommuner är dock variationen av byggherrar något mindre, då det framkommer tydligt att vissa professio-nella byggherrar dominerar.

Aim and questionsThe purpose for this study was to investigate how marks and mark settings are formed in physical training at some compulsory schools. We also wanted to see how the criteria for marks are formed. These were the main questions during this study.? How do the students find the evaluation and the making in physical training?? Are there differences between different student groups when it comes to their experience around estimation and marking in physical training? (gender, marks, schools etc.)? How do the teachers motivate their marking in physical training?? Are there any differences between the criteria for marking between different schools?MethodThe study was carried out during the spring 2005 at eight schools in a municipality in the middle of Sweden. The study involved 339 students opinion polls and 12 teacher opinion polls.

För att tillgodose allmänhetens behov av vägar, kraft- och vattenledningar med mera, får mark tas i anspråk. Expropriationsändamål och ersättningsbestämmelser för att tvångsvis ta mark i anspråk, finns stadgat i Expropriationslagen (SFS 1972:719). Genom århundraden har kritik framförts mot höga kostnader för att få åtkomst till mark vilket motiverat sänkningar av ersättning för mark. År 2010 genomfördes ändringar i ersättningsbestämmelserna som syftade till att höja markersättningen. Förhandlingar ska alltid föras vid markåtkomst för att eftersträva frivilliga uppgörelser.
