ABSTRACT Introduction: During the past 40 years the ambulance service in Sweden has evolved from mainly being a source of transport to today?s high-tech caring facilities that enable qualified care to start already in the patient?s home. This first level of care is now provided by registered nurses and registered nurses with specialist training in pre hospital care.At the same time as the care provided is becoming more advanced, results from studies demonstrate that the amount of dispatches to patients that lack the need for ambulance care and transport is increasing. Nurses in pre-hospital care possess the knowledge, training and authority to perform an initial assessment of patients and also treat patients according to local and national guidelines. After the treatment it would sometimes be possible for the patients to remain at home without having to use ambulance transport to an emergency department or in other cases find other means of transport to hospital.

Detta arbete kom till på inrådan från Jordbruksverket som tagit emot telefonsamtal från hästägare som haft problem med att få titta till sina hästar i samband med färjetransporter. Regelverket kring transport av djur är omfattande och detaljerat och man måste ta hänsyn till både den nationella djurskyddslagstiftningen och EU:s regelverk, Rådets förordning (EG 1/2005). Jordbruksverket var främst intresserade av efterlevnaden vad gäller de regler som hanterar tillsyn av hästarna samt ventilation och placering/fixering av transporten på färjan. Enligt transportföreskrifterna (DFS 2006:9) ska transporten placeras nära ett friskluftsintag och hästarnas tillstånd ska kontrolleras varannan timme under färjeöverfarten. Det är länsstyrelsens djurskyddskontrollanter som har i uppdrag att kontrollera lagens efterlevnad, både på land och till sjöss.Transport av djur ökar risken för lidanden såsom hunger, törst, obehag, smärta, frustration rädsla och oro.

SAMMANFATTNINGEnergianvändning under produktion av nya byggnader är en aspekt på den angelägna miljöfrågan, men än saknas både regleringar och undersökningar. I denna studie görs en jämförelse av energianvändning och utsläpp vid byggnation och transport av byggmaterial för två nybyggda hus ägda av Gavlegårdarna AB på Sjåaregatan 19 och Maskinistgatan 19: Gävle. Strand Etapp 2 kallas projektet på Sjåaregatan 19 och Maskinisten kallas projektet på Maskinistgatan 19 i denna undersökning. Målet för studien har varit att fastställa vilket av dessa två projekt som har haft lägst energianvändning samt utsläpp av växthusgaser vid resningstillfället, dvs. under projektens produktionsskeden.

Holmen Skog AB is an important supplier of conifer pulpwood to the Iggesund Paperboard mill. After logging and transport to the landing by a forwarder, the wood is loaded on trucks for further transport, often by using separate loaders. During this handling process considerable amounts of stone material is sometimes mixed into the pulpwood and this causes problems for the industry. The aim of this study is to identify which part of the chain from forest to pulpmill, that contributes the most to this contamination. Sizes and total volumes of the contaminating stones were also investigated.

Behovet inom FM att transportera militära förband i fredstid inför en övning eller vid mobilisering, har alltid varit stort inom Sverige. I och med att FM ominriktades så uppstod bl.a. förändringar av förbandstyper. Detta i kombination med den tekniska utvecklingen på civil och militär sida, kommer troligen att medföra både problem och möjligheter vid transport av militära förband i framtiden. Uppsatsens syfte är att analysera vilka möjligheter FM kan komma att ställas inför, avseende utnyttjande av civil och militär transportutrustning i framtiden.

Over an extended period of time there have been plans to establish a shared facility in Lennheden to extract groundwater from the Badelunda esker to provide drinking water for the cities of Borlänge and Falun. The city of Falun is dissatisfied with the quality of its drinking water and the city of Borlänge is concerned about the risk of contamination of its existing groundwater supply at its current location. To provide a basis for a decision on this issue, the company Midvatten AB has been commissioned to perform hydrogeological investigations in the area of Lennheden.The purpose of this thesis is to design a functional groundwater model of the area between Lennheden, place of planned extraction, and Övre Tjärna, place of existing extraction, to get a better understanding of the groundwater situation in the area. A groundwater model enables simulations of different scenarios in risk assessment and contaminant transport. The aim of the thesis is that the model can be used as an aid in Midvatten?s investigations in Lennheden and that it also can be used in future projects in the area.The model has been made in Processing Modflow 5.3 and encompasses an area of 19,5 × 11 km along the Badelunda esker and the river Dalälven between Djurmo and Frostbrunnsdalen.

I detta examensarbete undersöks vad som lockar med bilen som vardagligt transportmedel hos invånare i Malmö. Som en del i detta, identifieras faktorer bakom valet av transportmedel. Malmöbors tankar kring sin egen miljöpåverkan samt vilka utmaningar vi står inför när det gäller att gå emot ett mindre bil-dominerat samhälle diskuteras. Metoden bestod i att genomföra samtalsintervjuer med sex personer som samtliga bor i Malmö och som har körkort och tillgång till bil. Resultaten tyder på att bilens attraktion består i de fördelar den tillhandahåller, såsom lastutrymme, sparad tid, frihetskänsla och oberoende.

 Abstract: Facebook in the Public Sector - qualitative interviewstudy with The Swedish maritime Administration, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, the Swedish prison and Probation services and the municipality of Katrineholm about their precense on Facebook.In my bachelor?s thesis I have studied how three government authority and one municipality uses or don?t use Facebook in their communication towards the citizens. I have chosen to study four different cases, to see if there are any significant similarities or differences between how the different services are working with their communication. I have chosen to explore my cases through semi-structured qualitative interviews, where I met communications officers of every organisation face to face.I have found out that there is not one right way to communicate through Facebook, every organisations decisions must be based on their own mission, aims and objectives. And I have seen that both the transmitter and the receiver need to mature into the new acting of this new channel - Facebook..

As a company it is required to work with strategies to minimize costs such as packaging and logistic costs. The increased market of industrial produced wooden buildings results that the time and the cost which the packaging of prefabricated building elements consume, is experienced to be in greater need of development than before and demands a better solution. The aim with this dissertation was to discover how the development of the handling of the packaging can improve the packaging process. The goal was to present improvement proposals for a simplified and thereby a more efficient production in time and cost perspective.The packaging process which includes packaging, handling, storage and transport were studied. Interviews were made with participants from the market for manufacturers of wooden houses and a case study was made at the company A-hus.

We travel more nowadays. The increasing travel rate generates greenhouse gases which in the long run cause an increasing number of natural disasters over the world. Car traffic is a major contributor to this development. Out-of-town shopping centres have historically good accessibility for car traffic. This study aims to look into what are the factors that influence the choice of transport mode for dwellers in the outskirts of a town when going to out-of-town shopping centres.

Detta examensarbete är utfört åt Alnöbud och Transport i Sundsvall. Alnöbud och Transport håller påmed transport inom såväl Sundsvall som ute i landet. Deras tidrapporteringssystem var föråldrat och de använder sig idag av papper och penna för att registrera de olika anställdas tider. De ville dåveta hur man skulle kunna datorisera detta påett enkelt, smart och prisvärt sätt. Genom att gå till grunden för hur ett litet företag i dagens läge skulle kunna gå tillväga för att datorisera exempelvis ett sådant system krävdes genomgående information om allt från undersökningar, priser för liknande typer av kravspecifikationer och jämförande mellan olika produkter/tjänster.

In Sweden, the demand for bio energy has increased in recent years due to the current energy and climate debate. In 2008, the energy supply of Sweden was 612 TWh, biofuels accounted for 123 TWh of these. Stumps have been highlighted as a potential fuel in recent years and the Swedish Forest Agency expects a technically and biologically feasible potential of 20.7 TWh annually between 2010 and 2019. The idea of utilize stumps is not new. During the 19th century stumps were used for tar production and during the 70?s and 80?s attempts were made to use stumps in the pulp industry.

Inledning Intrahospitala transporter av intensivvårdpatient är ett ansvarsfullt arbetsmoment och en stor del av intensivvårdssjuksköterskans och undersköterskans arbete. Det är riskfyllt eftersom tillbud med patient och utrustning kan ske.Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva förekomsten av tillbud och typ av tillbud under intrahospitala transporter av intensivvårdspatienter, samt jämföra om det finns skillnader i förekomst av antalet tillbud under olika tidpunkter på dygnet och skillnad mellan akut respektive planerad transport. Syftet var också att undersöka sjuksköterskors och undersköterskors upplevda grad av stress och trötthet under transporten samt om det finns skillnad i förekomst av trötthet och/eller stress vid transporter där det sker tillbud respektive inte sker tillbud.Metod: Studien är kvantitativ, deskriptiv och jämförande. Förekomst av tillbud samt upplevelse av stress/trötthet besvarades på ett svarsformulär av sjuksköterska och undersköterska under eller direkt efter intrahospital transport. Totalt ingår 42 transporter.Resultat: Tillbud förekom vid 19 transporter.

Today, companies can take advantage of mass intelligence by making use out ofcrowdsourcing. Crowdsourcing is a business model that uses the power of the collective bythe offer of a problem by means of competitions in various social media. The benefit ofcrowdsourcing is that the company gets more creative and creative solutions to the sameproblem, which would not have been possible if the company solved the problem internally.The larger mass gains an insight into the company, which in return also releases power tothe company's development. The study aims to examine the way in which citizens can beattracted to participate in the development of public transport using crowdsourcing. The studyis based on both qualitative and quantitative approach since the study has a qualitative pilotstudy.

Denna uppsats är skriven inom ramen för ämnet Krigsvetenskap under författarens  studier på yrkesofficersprogrammet 2009 -2012 till nautisk officer. I studien beskrivs risker och metoder i samband med att ammunition omhändertas. Syftet är att belysa en problematik som ammunitionsröjare skulle kunna möta idag då de metoder som finns idag främst är avsedda för röjning på land.  De senaste åren visar en ökad frekvens av attacker utanför Somalias kust. I samband med den här typen av attacker finns chansen att behov av nya metoder också uppstår.
