The purpose of this report is to develop a visual identity and a brand book for the company Yakobs Ram & Reklam (Yakobs Frame and Advertising). To answer the question of how a brand book should be designed for a company that manage several businesses within one brand a qualitative approach including a case study has been conducted.This qualitative method included research on brand building, logotypes, colour, design and typography and interviews with the company Yakobs Ram & Reklam and three representatives from the advertising agencies Anfang and Jerhammar & Co.In order to develop a brand Manual for a company with several businesses, the study revealed that there should be a main logo where the secondary logos, consisting of the various components of the company, are linked by colour coding. In addition, the study has shown that the key elements to include in a brand book are the use of the logo, colour, typography, visual style and profile products including brochures and business cards. These findings form the basis of the brand Manual and are the result of this work. As the amount of previously known facts regarding the construction of a brand book are scarce, the choice of method has been crucial and the data generated can be generalized and applied to new similar cases.

Ångest är ett relativt vanligt förekommande psykiatriskt problem hos skolbarn, framförallt flickor. Obehandlad kan den fungera som brygga till annan psykopatologi. I barndomen fungerar föräldrar som viktig bas för inlärning. Förälderns grad av omsorg och överbeskydd anses kunna bidra till utvecklande och vidmakthållande av ångest. Genom reciprocitet påverkar även barnet föräldrarna.

Som en avslutande del i utbildningen ?Samhällsbyggnad - samhällsplanering? vid Luleå tekniska universitet skall ett examensarbete genomföras. Då ett flertal kurser innefattande CAD under utbildningens gång genomförts samt i och med ett stort eget intresse av detsamma kändes det för mig naturligt att genomföra ett examensarbete i någon mening omfattande konstruktion i CAD.Detta examensarbete har genomförts i uppdrag för Lindbäcks Bygg AB i syfte att förbättra den i dagsläget något ineffektiva arbetsmetodik som vid framtagning av ritningar används. Huvudmålet med arbetet har varit att ta fram en Manual över ett alternativt, förhoppningsvis bättre, tillvägagångssätt i den arbetsgång som projektörerna utför. Det verktyg som främst använts för att skapa metodiken är ?annotation scaling?, ett verktyg vilket syftar till att koppla modell till ritning genom skalfaktorer.

Det här rapporten är en del av mitt examensarbete för högskoleingenjörsexamen i elektroteknik vid Växjö Universitet, MSI. Arbetet är en del av ett större projekt kallat Kranstyrningsprojektet som bedrivs av Växjö Universitet, Rottne Industri med flera, vars syfte är att underlätta för förare att kontrollera den kran som finns på Rottnes skotare. För projektet har det använts en laborationskran och nu har önskemålet varit att det till kranen ska installeras ett nytt styrsystem från dSPACE. Dessutom vill man att nya givare ska sättas på kranen och kopplas till dSPACE. Man vill även ha en Manual för att nya studenter ska kunna använda systemet.

At Volvo Construction Equipment outside Eskilstuna a wide range of heavy equipment machines are developed that are used by a variety of industries worldwide. For the handling and maintenance of these machines a deep knowledge is often required. Volvo CE and their dealer Swecon offer courses for both drivers and technicians that last for 1-2 weeks. Out on the workplaces however, the knowledge from these courses need to be supplemented with information from the machine?s operator and repair Manuals.

AimThe purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is scientific evidence that exercise and/or Manual therapy can improve function, in terms of increased mobility and strength on shoulder impingement-like symptoms among athletes. Another aim is to investigate whether these interventions can reduce shoulder pain.MethodA systematic review was conducted in the databases PubMed, CINAHL, PEDro and Amed. A total of thirteen articles were selected for further review and compilation. They were then graded for level of evidence according to the PEDro scale and the Swedish Council on Technology Assessment (SBU).ResultsThe systematic review shows that there is strong scientific evidence that acupuncture and heat can reduce pain in athletes diagnosed with supraspinatus-tendiopathy. There is limited scientific evidence that exercise increases strength, limited scientific evidence that stretching increases mobility and insufficient scientific evidence that a combination of treatments, with both exercise and stretching, reduces pain and increases function in overhead athletes.ConclusionsExercise and Manual therapy can reduce pain and/or improve function in terms of increased mobility and strength in athletes with shoulder impingement-like symptoms.

We chose to study the groups for divorced children in Vellinge municipal because there was no evaluation made of these kinds of groups with the involved methods.Vellinge municipal has had groups for children to divorced parents since 2000. During this period of time the total numbers of children in these groups have expanded. As of now, there are two groups.Our goal with this study was to see which way the CAP, Children Are People, Manual has been implemented in the every-day work in the group. Several studies have been made about CAP but not in the context of groups for divorced children. We have also examined results in other municipals that have implemented groups for divorced children into their social services.We have interviewed ten children and four social workers.

The climate at the labour-market in Sweden today means that students who have recently passed their examinations find it quite difficult to find work. The competetiveness calls for a strategy to find advantages in the employment process. The strategy explored in this thesis is called personal branding. We believe that by building a strong personal brand you can increase the possibilities to influence the decisions of those responsible for recruitments in our society. The question we ask ourselves in this essay is how to build a personal brand with the power to give students a competetive advantage in the employment process.

The aim of this report is to analyse the logistics of a medium sized restaurant and give an overall solution for improvements on the restaurant's logistics. The restaurant of interest belongs to Laponia Hotel and is located in Arvidsjaur, Sweden. Investments for over 100.000 Euros are planned for the hotel, which includes a reconstruction of the restaurant. The details on how the restaurant will be reconstructed are not yet known. I therefore chose to analyse the problemin general terms and find a solution that is focused on the logistic system itself rather than its layout.

Språkliga och kulturella skillnader kan leda till komplikationer i den textila tillverkningen med tanke på att kommunikationen mellan beställare och producent ibland kan missförstås. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur man, med hjälp av avancerad fotografi, kan förenkla den sömnadstekniska kommunikationen mellan producent och leverantör. Framtagningen av resultatet har gjorts med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med två experter inom områdena fotografi samt produktion. Det har även utförts intervjuer med en inköpsassistent på ett stort internationellt svenskt modeföretag och en intervju med designer/inköpare vid ett mindre företag. Det har vid sidan av intervjuer utförts experimentella observationer där framtagning av en fungerande Manual för 360° fotografering har skett.
