The aim was to evaluate and suggest improvements for the prototype TIVOLI (sign-learning via computer-based playful interaction). The game purposed to give children who need signing as augmentative and alternative communication enhanced signing skills. Three children in need of signs played TIVOLI at home during 4-5 weeks. Data contained parental interviews, Talking Mats interviews, assessment of signing competence before and after the evaluation period and game protocols. One game interaction per child was filmed.

Industriellt byggande i trä och projektledningsmetoder hänger ihop. För att visa på vilket sätt de har ett samband har kunskaper om projektledning och byggteknik applicerats på företaget Martinsons sätt att projektera höga bostadshus i trä. Syftet med examensarbetet är att upprätta ett förslag till en hållbar projektmodell för projekteringsprocessen gällandes höga bostadshus i trä. Genom strukturering och standardisering av projektflödet i ett bostadsprojekt kan detta i framtiden gynna byggandet av höga bostadshus i trä både i Sverige och internationellt. Resultatet visar en flödesstruktur över ett bostadsprojekt, en Manual till projektledaren samt en analys över beslutsunderlaget med rekommendationer på åtgärder för att uppnå en effektivare process utifrån både traditionell-och agil projektledningsmetodik.

The economic crisis has affected the airline industry as much as it has affected all other industries in the world. The small airlines and maintenance organisations must find new opportunities and options in order to survive the harsh crisis. Priority Aero Maintenance is now an approved maintenance organisation performing maintenance on aircrafts, engines and components. The company sees economic gains in the future by becoming an approved organisation that follows the European Aviation Safety Agency guidelines (EASA) and meets the requirements outlined in the rules of Part-M.In order for the company to become an approved organization, responsible for continuing airworthiness of aircraft, a handbook should be presented to the local authority. This handbook describes the company?s responsibility for the continuing airworthiness in order for the authorities to get an insight into the company and its work.This thesis resulted in a draft of CAME (Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition) and this draft has been approved by Priority Aero Maintenance.The CAME will in the future be used by the company as a basis for developing a more detailed Manual to be presented to and approved by the Swedish Aviation Authority (Transportstyrelsen)..

Lastflödesberäkningar kan användas för att se om ett nät behöver byggas ut för att tillgodose en ökad belastning, hur mycket reaktiv effekt som behöver tillföras, eller för att se om ett givet nät klarar av bortfall av en ledning. Syftet med denna rapport är att presentera teorierna för lastflödesberäkningar. Dessutom ska en Manual till simuleringsprogrammet Power World färdigställas.Ledningens viktigaste förluster är genom: serieinduktans, shuntinduktans och resistans. Reaktiv effekt kan tillföras dels genom seriekondensatorer, för att motverka ledningens spänningsfall; och dels genom shuntkondensatorer för att kompensera för lastens behov av reaktiv effekt. En lindningskopplare ändrar transformatorns omsättning, vilket renderar i att spänningen i överföringsledet ändras.

This degree project has been carried out in cooperation with Gedevelop in Helsingborg.Gedevelop has developed a camera that can calculate the weight of a liquid glass mass.Because of the density and viscosity changes in the glass, the weight information issometimes incorrect given. Glass industry is today addressing the problem by an operatorperforming a Manual weighing of a few bottles which, in turn, calibrates the camera system.The project aimed to develop an automated system to control the weighing of glass bottles forglass industries. This system must be so flexible that it can be easily mounted on plants withdifferent production equipment around the world.The project includes design and construction of equipment that meets the requirementsformulated together with Gedevelop. Work has been done both in Halmstad and Helsingborgand has included both calculations and review of the theory to understand the forces thatinfluence the design of different construction parts. A prototype was produced that meets theoperating requirements for the design and can be used in testing features.

Parenting is increasingly seen as a profession which requires training and support with the purpose of creating improved interaction. A central question appears to be how the concept of interaction is defined. The aim of this study is to examine how training programs, trainers and parents perceive this concept, whether they define it the same way and whether trainers succeed in reaching parents with the message of what it actually is that will improve in the area of interaction. The study uses a phenomenological approach and a qualitative method.The research subject is the parental training program Komet, a Manual-based education program for parents. The goal of the program is to offer families training in methods that have strong scientific support in order to reduce conflicts and to improve the relation and interaction between children and parents.One important result of the study is that parents and trainers viewed the concept of interaction from different perspectives.

Denna uppsats analyserar bearbetningsfasen vid översättningen av "La protección de los derechos humanos en el Sistema Interamericano. Manual para defensores y defensoras de derechos humanos" som är utgiven av organisationen CEJIL (Center for Justice and International Law) som verkar i Nord- och Sydamerika. Först ges en förberedande textanalys där källtexten och förutsättningarna för översättningen beskrivs. I den följande analysen studeras översättningsproblem som rör textens komplicerade meningsbyggnad och tunga koordinationsfraser. Utifrån olika teorier och artiklar om svenskt klarspråk studeras det vilka strategier som har använts för att skapa en enkel och tydlig text på svenska.

The aim of this descriptive review was to elucidate how the literature describes how children of parents with mental illness experience and have knowledge about their parent?s illness. The aim was furthermore to describe how the children?s existence is affected, can be improved and why the children so often are invisible. Search through Medline (through PubMed) database and additional Manual search was conducted.

Purpose of the thesis is to construct a tool for car wheel change. Car wheels can be heavy and hard to handle and therefore the company Movomech intends to develop a tool that makes wheel change easier. Movomech does not have any similar product and because of this the work was condition less.The intended users of the product is tire workshops and there for the work began with investigation of these. The reason of the investigation was to see how wheel change is done and how tire workshops are planed. The tire workshops? crew?s opinions were also considered and above all one important conclusion was made.

För inneliggande patienter inom slutenvården genomförs överrapportering minst tre gånger varje dygn. Överrapportering skall innefatta information som skapar patientsäker vård dock kan information gå förlorad eller missuppfattas vilket kan leda till vårdskador. En litteraturstudie har genomförts där tolv artiklar granskades med syftet att belysa hur överrapportering kan utformas för att vara patientsäker. Analysen resulterade i två kategorier: Överrapportering med kommunikationsverktyg och överrapportering vid patientens säng. Kommunikationsverktyg gjorde överrapporteringen formell och strukturerad, vilket förstärkte kommunikationen och främjade patientsäkerheten.

As the Swedish governments long term goals include a reduction of fossil fuel dependency, increasing pressure is placed upon energy companies to create and develop new solutions for renewable energy. The following case study was done in collaboration with the company Sydved Energileveranser AB and one of their contractors, Enarssons Skogsentreprenad AB. The objective of the study is to examine the bioenergy situation in region of Skåne and evaluate the potential solutions in the region for a forest-fuel assortment, based on a bioenergy-cutting-system. As a part of this study I have compared ordinary Manual cuttings done with a chain saw and cuttings made using the new ?bio- energy cutting system?. The cuttings made under both systems were tested in areas near agricultural fields or pasture land in order to maintain an open landscape.

Denna studie är genomförd på en bultsvetsstation med fyra bultsvetsrobotar från ABB som används i den dagliga produktionen i karossfabriken på Saab Automobile i Trollhättan. I dagsläget används off-lineprogrammerade robotprogram från IGRIP i flera robotceller på karossfabriken. IGRIP har under flera år används utan att man har någon metod för att utvärdera för hur kapaciteten i robotcellerna utnyttjas. Begränsningarna hos IGRIP är att det inte automatiskt kan beräkna och generera kollisionsfria banor vilket är mycket tidskrävande. Programmeringen av via-punkterna sker via manuell inmatning i programmet vilket medför att de inte utnyttjar maximal kapacitet i robotcellen.

The aim of this paper is to examine how teachers experience their possibilities to develop democratic teaching in high school and how they reflect upon their position of power within the teaching situation. Four professional high school teachers have been interviewed for the study. The theoretical perspective of the study is an intersectional view on power and a view on democratic teaching which is partly built on the high school curriculum, but mainly defined by deliberative conversations, anti-oppressive education and norm-critical education. The result of the study is focused on three themes, which were shown in the analysis of the interviews. These themes are: choices of teaching content,  authority of the teacher and democratic teaching.

HLSC (Haldex Limited Slip Coupling) är en koppling för fyrhjulsdrift i personbilar, och för-finas ständigt för att ge en bättre funktion och körupplevelse. Kopplingen använder ett hyd-raultryck för att skapa momentöverföring mellan fram- och bakaxel, och därför är en förståel-se för vad som påverkar detta tryck viktigt för utvecklingen. Skapandet av en simuleringsmo-dell av hela hydrauliken i kopplingen är ett sätt att förbättra denna förståelse. I detta arbete har HOPSAN använts för att simulera hydrauliken i HLSC och även den meka-nik som påverkar hydrauliken. Fokus i arbetet har lagts på noggrannhet, numerisk stabilitet och prestanda.
