To automate software testing is an investment, and that makes it important to have good knowledge about automation before an implementation is made. In this master thesis a study about automated testing is carried out. The study also includes a closer look at the testing tool TestComplete. TestComplete is one out of many tools on the market that is developed for automated GUI testing and the goal is to get a picture of how well the tool can adjust to CC Systems own applications. Studies show that it is hard to write lasting test scripts.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien var att få en uppfattning om hur kosten och måltidsmönstret påverkas av en oregelbunden dygnsrytm hos skiftarbetande poliser. Syftet var också att skapa en bild av hur och vilka metoder som används för att skapa goda kost- och sömnrutiner i vardagen. Specifika frågeställningar var hur poliser upplever att deras kostvanor och måltidsmönster påverkas av skiftarbete med en oregelbunden dygnsrytm samt vilka livsstrategier som används för att hantera kost- och sömnvanor som skiftarbetande polis.MetodDatainsamlingen är baserad på intervjuer med fyra poliser, två kvinnliga och två manliga i åldrarna 26 till 37 år, som arbetar i en närförort till Stockholm. Respondenterna valdes ut med hjälp av bekvämlighetsurval via en bekant inom polisen. Samtliga deltagare kontaktades via telefon för att bli informerade om studiens syfte, frågeställningar, genomförande, för att boka in tid för intervju och blev dessutom upplysta om att de har full anonymitet i studien.

För att på ett bra sätt kunna marknadsföra och sälja en produkt är det viktigt att ha ett attraktivt ansikte utåt. En stor del av en produkts identitet finns i dess logotyp och grafiska profil. För att skapa en effektiv identitet gäller det att använda färger och former på ett sådant sätt att rätt sorts känslomässiga budskap förmedlas. Syftet med examensarbetet är att få grundläggande kunskap inom grafisk design för att kunna undersöka och ta fram en visuell identitet. Uppdragsgivaren är ett företag under uppstart som betår av fyra studenter som har tagit fram produkten Sockmate.

Yahtzee is a popular dice game around the world. The complexity makes the game interesting to play and analyze. This report compares the effectiveness of the mathematically optimal strategy with a strategy that can be used for casual play. The rules used are those of the Nordic variant Yatzy, in which a few but important rules are different from the American Yahtzee. To evaluate the everyday strategy 100,000 games was simulated in a java program written specifically for this purpose.

The aim of the present literature review was to describe and evaluate the effects and experiences within the complementary approaches such as aromatherapy, tactile massage and acupuncture amongst palliative care patients. Search through Medline (through Pub Med) database and additional manual search was conducted. In total 16 articles fulfilled the inclusion criteria and were reviewed. The result was presented under respectively category: aromatherapy, tactile massage and acupuncture. Physical and psychological effects as well as experiences from the treatments were also documented under the different complementary approaches.

This study intends to analyze and compare the core litterature outlined in two specially selected teacher training establishments. The purpose of the investigation is to examine what specific perspectives they focus upon and the competences they require for teachers of tomorrow.The result shows that there are certain differences in perspective when varying the point of focus, but there are also common elements inte the core litterature between the two establishments. This analysis will provide a base for discussion on how the differences may be a result of the environment where the colleges of higher learning are situated and also on the individual needs in the surrounding area when they were first established..

The study aims to analyze conceptions of death and dying at a clinic for palliative care, using a constructivist perspective and a discourse analytical approach. The empirical material consists of interviews with staff members, documents and photographs of the environment, taking both space and materiality into account. Automatic milking systems (AMS) provide the opportunity for less manual labour and an increased milking frequency. But in order to reach an optimal milking frequency a well-functioning cow traffic is crucial. There are many factors affecting cow traffic but one factor that has not been studied thoroughly yet is the effect of different light intensities during the night, 22.00 h to 05.00 h. Therefore the aim of this study was to determine the effect of different light intensities during the night on number of selection gate passages (GP), milking frequency and milk yield. The study was conducted as a Latin square were three light intensities were applied: LOW (11 ± 3 lux), INT (33 ± 1 lux) and HIGH (74 ± 6 lux), in three different herds.

Social indexing is an approach to manual indexing of web content. The purpose of this master thesis has been to investigate terminological and conceptual consistency in social indexing of web content. Conceptual consistency was investigated/measured focusing on synonyms and (the use of) singular and plural forms of words. In order to measure consistency in social indexing data were obtained from the Delicious website. The data set consists of five indexed objects, 3001 tags and 239 users.

Introduction: In this study an innovative and multimodal method in family therapy called NVR, Non-Violent Resistence, is examined. NVR is an approach developed by Haim Omer, professor in psychology at the University of Tel Aviv. This approach is described as coming from the ancient ideological roots used by Gandhi in the Nonviolent resistence of oppressive regimes. NVR advocates that the parents give up the desire to control their children. Instead parents should take control of their own lives by actively resisting any behaviors of the child that are damaging.

Background: When a person suddenly pass away, the relatives often arrive to the Emergency Department under chaotic circumstances. In this critical situation the nurse has an important role for the care. Many nurses lack of knowledge about how to take care of the bereaved relatives. Aim: The aim of the literature study was to describe aspects of caring for suddenly bereaved relatives. Method: The data for the study were scientific articles found in the databases PubMed and Cinahl and from a manual search.
