Denna uppsats är en utvärdering av en metod där socialtjänsten i Haninge kommun arbetar behandlande med familj- och skolsystemet. Behandlingsformen kallas korttidsbehandling och följer en manual som behandlare skapat utifrån inspiration av Barn och Ungdomspsykiatrin (BUP) i Östersund. Metoden är inte tidigare utvärderad.En kvalitativ studie genomfördes med fyra föräldragrupper och respektive fyra skolpersonalgrupper som deltagit efter en relativt kort prövotid av metoden. Det övergripande syftet med studien var därför att få en ökad förståelse för vilken betydelse korttidsbehandlingen har för familj respektive skolpersonal.I intervjuerna beskrivs att processen under behandlingen påminner om nätverksspiralen i nätverksterapi. For a significantly cheaper price, SME: s can nowadays acquire ERP-solutions and become more effective and increase their profit.  The authors have examined five SME: s in both the production and service company segment and have come to the conclusion that an ERP-solution would indeed benefit these companies in many levels but also induce certain obstacles the examined companies must overcome, both financial and organizational.Purpose            The purpose of this thesis is to examine if and how SME: s can become more efficient and developed and increase their profit by implementing an ERP-solution. Further, the purpose is to discuss which conditions that exists for the examined SME: s in order to implement an ERP-solution.Method            The thesis consists of a qualitative research where the authors have interviewed either the owner or employees at management level by using semi-structured interviews.

Approximately 4000-5000 hectares, of SCA´s forest land area in Västerbotten, are in need of pre-commercial thinning (PCT) every year. Within the management district, the areas annually treated with PCT must increase, in order to decrease the area with an urgent need for PCT. This can be done by employing more forest workers or entrepreneurs, by mechanized PCT or by an extended season for PCT. Positive experiences from a private forest owner, who started to carry out PCT when the first snow came and then continued for several months, gave an idea to investigate the possibilities to prolong the season of PCT. The purpose of this experiment was to compare PCT carried out when there was snow on the ground with PCT performed when there was no snow on the ground.

Stockholm is growing with almost two fully loaded SL-buses a day. One of the consequences that derive from this is the increase of public transport travelers who put the regionally governed public transport up to the test in terms of its capacity. The Transport administration in Stockholm County initiated 2015 a project with the purpose of simplifying the calculation of bus stop capacities. A hypothesis (set up by the Transport administration) based on that a model for calculation of bus stop capacities could be calibrated for Stockholm conditions is being researched in this bachelor?s essay.The study is implemented by self-collected traffic data from bus stops located in the Stockholm city center.

Problem: Det satsas mycket på internutbildningar inom många företag och det finns en del forskat kring ämnet. Den mesta forskningen berör hur internutbildning bör planeras och genomföras samt vilka positiva egenskaper denna utbildning har. Däremot upplever vi att det finns mindre forskat kring om dessa interna utbildningar faktiskt bidrar till något, om de anställda i praktiken tar till sig utbildningarna och drar nytta av dem i sitt dagliga arbete. Inom forskningen kring internutbildningar har fokus även ökat på de anställdas (inom serviceföretag) estetiska attribut såsom utseende och attityd. Syfte: Syftet med vår uppsats är att studera effekten av internutbildningar inom servicebranschen, med fokus på säljpersonal och deras syn på internutbildningar.

The theoretical focus in this master is information retrieval (IR), and especially the part of IR that includes interactivity. This research is by some researchers called IIR. Our principal aim was to examine if search engines on the WWW are taking advantage of research results from IIR research. A way to do this is to look at the application of special features, in this case query expansion (QE) and relevance feedback (RF). Both these methods aim for a better matching of documents and the searchers information need.

Introduction: Domestic violence is a big public health problem and the hiddennumbers over victims are big. There is a lack of scientific research in the Nordiccountries when it comes to how the health- and medical care identify and care for thevictims of domestic violence. Aim: This literature review has two aims: To investigatewhat kind of methods maternal health services, child health services and gynecologyclinics in the Nordic countries use to discover women and children exposed to domesticviolence and to investigate if there are any guidelines to go by when a victim ofdomestic violence is identified. Method: A literature review. 12 articles were found inPubMed, Scopus and Cinahl and three more were included after a manual search.

This study is a part of a larger project where the aim has been to evaluate different methods to assure the quality in stallion semen, due to the fact that some stallions in horse breeding have poor semen quality. The increased use of transport semen requires new methods to ensure good semen quality. In this part of the project the viability and concentration in fresh and cooled semen was examined with NucleoCounter SP-100. A comparison between two different commercially available semen extenders, Kenney?s and INRA 96, was made.

Facilitated by the breakthrough of the internet, new ways of organizing internet-based projects that harness the power of the crowds are becoming increasingly common. Today there are ways of using the crowd as paid labour, as funders of your new project ventures and even for helping scientists doing science. Staying true to its traditional principles of objectivity and trustworthiness while asking the crowd to contribute, crowd generated ?Citizen Science? does not provide even the slightest amount of pay in exchange for the time and effort put in by their contributors. Surely there can not be many people willing to do such a thing voluntarily? Actually, practice is showing the exact opposite with contributions counted in their millions among the more popular Citizen Science projects.

A new phonological test, LINUS, for Swedish-speaking children between the ages of three and seven, has been developed at the speech and language pathology department at Linköping University. The aim of the present study was to create a reference manual for the long version of the new test. The participants in the present study were children between the ages of five to seven in a medium-sized municipality in the Northern part of Kalmar County, Sweden. In total, 124 native Swedish-speaking children (58 girls and 66 boys) with typical language development participated. The children were divided into two age groups, 5;0-5;11;31 and 6;0-6;11;31 years.

Wetlands play an important role in the ecosystem. They reduce the impact of flow flux in the drainage area, acts as upholder of biodiversity, as an esthetic and recreational component in the landscape and they have the ability to reduce nutrients such as nitrogen, and help preventing eutrophication in costal areas.The number of wetlands in Scania have, due to the intensified agriculture been reduced to maximize the area suitable for crops.However since the mid 80th the consequences of this has been acknowledged, and many wetlands have been restored.This master?s thesis aim to see what impact this development have had on wetlands in Scania over the last 60 years. And also look at some of those factors important for the efficiency of nitrogen removal in wetlands. During the process a detailed manual for inventories of this sort was created.The material used to execute the inventory of wetlands where aerial photographs over Scania from the 1940th, 1980th and 2000.

I Sverige finns ett brett utbud av föräldrastödsinsatser. Trots att 1,5 miljoner av Sveriges invånare är utrikesfödda riktar sig endast 4 av 60 föräldrastödsinsatser till utrikesfödda föräldrar. Att blanda föräldragrupper med inrikes- och utrikesfödda föräldrar kan bidra till social interaktion mellan människor som inte med självklarhet kommer i kontakt med varandra i vardagslivets olika aktiviteter. Det finns ingenting som säger att en föräldrakurs är givande för en utrikesfödd förälder bara för att en inrikesfödd förälder har utvärderat kursen som positiv. Det finns forskning som visar på att det kan vara svårt att arbeta med föräldrastöd när deltagarna har skilda föreställningar om vad en bra familj och förälder bör vara.

Hur påverkas socialarbetares handlingsutrymme och relation till brukare i arbete medmanualbaserade metoder, enligt de yrkesverksamma? Vilka hinder kan uppstå när manualbaserademetoder importeras och används i svenska förhållanden? Hur kan den lokala organisationen tahänsyn till dessa kulturella skillnader? Vad kan arbete med manualbaserade metoder innebära försocialarbetarna? Hur påverkas professionen och socialarbetarnas syn på sin yrkesroll?Vad kanarbete med manualbaserade metoder, enligt socialarbetarna, innebära för brukare?Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur arbete med manualbaserade metoder, i en utvaldstadsdel i Göteborg, kan påverka det sociala arbetet som profession, samt hur det kan påverkasocialarbetare och brukare. Vi har intervjuat tio socialarbetare, verksamma inom behandlande ochförebyggande arbete med barn och familjer. Dessa semi-strukturerade intervjuer analyserar viutifrån begreppen humanism, etiska värden, normer och värderingar samt teorier ombehandlingsarbete och bemötande i socialt arbete.För de yrkesverksamma finner vi att arbetet med manualbaserade metoder kan leda till enlojalitetskonflikt mellan rollerna hjälpare och utvärderingsassistent. Relationen till brukarnaförändras så att teknik, kompetens och ekonomiska värden får ökad betydelse, kanske på bekostnadav humanistiskt hänsynstagande.

Iliotibialt friktions syndrom (ITFS) är en av de vanligaste överbelastningsskadorna som drabbar knäet. Traditionellt har skadan betraktats som ett friktionssyndrom, senare studier har dock hävdat att en kompression av underliggande fettvävnad är orsaken till diagnosen. Etiologin och patologin bakom diagnosen har därmed inte kunnat fastställas. Kliniskt tillämpas stretching, styrketräning av höftabuktorer, neuromuskulär korrigering och myofaschiella behandlingsmetoder i rehabiliteringen av ITFS. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att sammanställa det vetenskapliga underlaget för behandlingsmetoder vid iliotibialt friktions syndrom.
