Supply Chain Management innebär styrande av leveranskedjor. En leveranskedja består av leverantörer, tillverkare, distributörer och återförsäljare. I dagsläget bör marknadskonkurrensen vara mellan olika leveranskedjor och inte företag mot företag.För att erhålla konkurrenskraftiga leveranskedjor krävs det bland annat att företagen nyttjar kommunikation tvärs genom hela leveranskedjan, samt att företagen använder de tekniska hjälpmedel som finns för att förenkla det administrativa arbetet.En förutsättning för att leveranskedjan skall bli konkurrenskraftig är att företagen som ingår i kedjan vågar delta i informations- och kunskapsutbyte. Med ett sådant utbyte bör företagen höja värdet på slutprodukten till ett reducerat pris.Syftet med rapporten är att sammanställa en modell över "hur den undersökta kedjans informationsutbyte äger rum idag".Den undersökta Supply Chain Management-kedjan har kommit en bit på väg, men nyttjar i dagsläget inte Supply Chain Management-filosofins alla konkurrensfördelar. Management of large carnivores involves more than just the management of animals, people also have a large influence. The Swedish parliament decided in 2009 that the county boards should use co-management to a greater extent in management. This shows how important human dimensions are.We know from previous research that the majority of people in Västerbotten are positive toward large carnivores and the management done by the state, however there is a negative minority which should not be neglected. This paper contributes with an examination of attitudes toward large carnivores, wolf, bear, lynx and wolverine, in Västerbotten County. The data for this study were derived from a survey that was sent out to 150 randomly selected persons in every commune in following counties: Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, Västernorrland, Dalarna, Gävleborg and Stockholm.

Projektet har gjorts för företaget Björn Borg med inriktning mot design management och designstrategi. Arbetet delades upp i två delar, under den första delen genomfördes research på såväl Björn Borg som på ämnena design management och designstrategi, i form av litteraturstudier, intervjuer och observationer. Detta ledde till att ett problemområde identiferades och att en ny produktutvecklingsprocess utvecklades genom designstrategiskt tänkande. Den andra delen behandlade hur två exempel- produkter utvecklades genom den framtagna processen för företaget. Slutsatsen blev att den nya processen skapar ett mer förankrat designarbete hos företaget som kommer att ge ett mer fokuserat uttryck på marknaden..

The subject of this master level thesis in historical osteology, is a study of waste management in the medieval town of Lund. The aims of the study is achieved through looking at the taphonomic aspects of bonefragments from the quarter Blekhagen. The study is divided in two separate sections, one that is a litterature study of what is known about waste management, and another one that contains a taphonomic and spatial analysis. Through examination of the taphonomic variables weathering, average weight and trampling and a spatial analysis, I am able to deduce that there are signs of controlled waste management in the material. It is not possible to draw any general conclusions about waste management in the medieval town however.

This thesis studies private equity firms' implementation of management control systems in their portfolio companies and whether the systems are affected by cross-national differences. A comparative case study examines five different private equity firms to derive if there are any differences between the private equity firms' management control systems in the United States, Europe and China. The empirical observations are categorized according to the framework developed by Merchant (1985) and further developed by Merchant and Van der Stede (2003). Theory on the effect of multinationality on management control systems, also developed by Merchant and Van der Stede (2003), are used to explain possible findings. The applied theory includes the cultural dimensions developed by Hofstede (1984) and Hofstede and Bond (1988).

This essay is based on a mission from Anna Schibli, Director of Tourism at Solliden Palace. The thesis aims to investigate the image that Solliden Palace has, and the picture that local and regional tourist offices have of the Sollidens Castle brand and what position Solliden include in these markets. A total of six in-depth interviews with tourist offices, at local and regional level, has been carried out and an initial in-depth interview with Anna Schibli of Solliden Palace. The responses of the respondents have since been interpreted and processed based on an inductive approach, in order to interpret the image that Solliden Palace has. Scientific papers have been studied and analyzed in order to generate an explanation and understanding of the research area.

Problem discussion: Syncron experience a challenge in realizing the full market potential of its newly developed IT-based price management system, Global Price Management (GPM). The system has already been implemented and is currently running with success within the IT-structures of the first customer. The fact that the development of the system has been initiated by a customer, and thereby has left Syncron oblivious of the real underlying drivers and incentives for the development, is part of the problem. Understanding the customers? incentives for developing their pricing process thus reducing the application uncertainty is a good starting point.

The aim for my thesis has been to investigate how literature, or fiction, is used in management education. What books are used ? is there a literary leadership canon? What do the educators and the writers on this subject suggest that these books can teach the leaders? What are the philosophical foundations of this education? And ? last but not least ? does what the educators and writers offer respond to the needs of the businesses? My investigation shows that there is a canon in the area of management and fiction, where realistic 19th century novels, alongside with Shakespeare?s plays are dominant. Female writers and non-western writers are very underrepresented. The positive outcomes of reading and discussing these literary works that the educators and writers suggest do substantially correspond with the needs of the businesses, as presented by my sources.

BakgrundFriluftsliv är något som nämns i kurs- och ämnesplanerna i Idrott & Hälsa. Trots detta kände jag att jag saknade kunskap om det under min egen skolgång vilket gjorde att jag uppfattade friluftsliv som ointressant. En del forskning har gjorts om vad man kan göra för att göra friluftsliv mer intressant för eleverna. Däremot har lite forskning gjorts angående vilka elever har/har inte ett intresse för friluftsliv.SyfteSyftet med studien är att undersöka hur intresset är för friluftsliv hos elever i årskurs 2 på gymnasiet. Finns det något samband mellan social position och intresset för friluftsliv samt skiljer sig intresset något åt mellan könen?MetodI studien har jag använt mig av en kvantitativ metod i form av enkäter.

Rapportens huvudsakliga syfte är att undersöka relationen mellan motivation och hierarkisk position, och huruvida anställda på högre hierarkiska positioner motiveras av annat än anställda på lägre positioner. Inledningsvis i teoriavsnittet redogörs det för trevälkända motivationsteorier för att förstå vad som driver människor att handla och efter det behandlas teori om hur belöningssystem ofta utformas och för vanliga inslag i dessa. Undersökningen byggde på en enkätundersökning som genomfördes med totalt 97 anställda på företaget, 72 yrkesarbetare och 25 tjänstemän. Yrkesarbetarnasom ombads att delta i undersökningen valdes ut genom ett icke-sannolikhetsurval.

Denna uppsats undersöker en medlemsorganisations roll och betydelse för utvecklingen av en klustermiljö, samt vilka möjligheter en sådan organisation har att förmedla vikten av sina insatser i och utanför ett nätverk. En kvalitativ metod har använts i form av intervjuer med personer inom den offentliga sektorn vars arbetsuppgifter berör näringslivet i Öresundsregionen. Dessutom ligger diskussioner med nyckelpersoner inom organisationen Medicon Valley Academy till grund för den empiriska studien. De teorier som används är: kluster, trippelhelix, regional innovationsteori, nätverk, organising capacity och Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The aim of the literature review was to illuminate the importance of nutritional management to patients who have sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and describe nurses responsibility and meaningful function in the nutritional support. TBI patients tend to be associated with hypermetabolism and hypercatabolism, resulting in negative nitrogen balances. The results reveal increased energy expenditure and assessments of needs energy requirements at the TBI patients. This study determining the route of feeding: enteral versus parenteral nutrition. Furthermore describes complications associated with enteral feeding.

AbstractRelationships between white women and black men have become a topic of interest in various discussion forums. By examining different arguments within certain discourses, it becomes clear that discourses that have a distinct autocrat outline, i.e. a closed and declaring nature which excludes alternative discursive arguments, also define these relationships as different and deviant in comparison to relationships that does not encompass and include the constellation white women and black men. As a result of the use of autocrat discourses the white women and black men who enter into relationships are displaced and positioned as subaltern. A position which, on the one hand, allows for uninhibited criticism, but, on the other hand, and most importantly, it is a position from where they can be defined by others.
