Cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) are great candidates for composite materials. The reasons why CNCs are such attractive materials for them are due to their great mechanical properties, high aspect ratio and low density. On the other hand, hydroxyapatite (HAp) is a kind of calcium phosphate and a main component of bones and teeth. The purpose of the present study is to Make oriented nano-sized composites with CNC and HAp. Although some researchers carried out to Make CNC composites with HAp for biomedical materials, nano-sized and oriented ones haven?t been achieved yet.

Studien bygger på halvstrukturerade intervjuer med sex kvinnor som har åtminstone ett gemensamt barn tillsammans med sin Make/sambo. Syftet med studien är att öka förståelsen av om kvinnor uppfattar sig leva under jämställda villkor med sin man/sambo när det handlar om att ta hand om deras barn. Studien har utgått från tre frågeställningar som lyder; Upplever mammor att pappor tar lika mycket ansvar när det gäller rätt att ta hand om barn? Uppger kvinnor att de lever under jämställda villkor när det gäller att ta hand om barn?  Vem av föräldrarna har tagit föräldraledighet och vilka är i så fall orsakerna till det?  Det empiriska materialet påvisar att kvinnor tar mest hand om sina barn oavsett om de yrkesarbetar eller är mammalediga. Utifrån kvinnornas resonemang framgår en tydlig bild av att papporna inte tar lika mycket ansvar när det gäller barnuppfostran och att ta hand om sina barn.

The thesis has investigated the use of templates in timber framing, a field where there has previously been a lack of comprehensive and clear information. The main goal was to map and describe the various types of templates, their appearance, usage, and function, in order to Make this traditional craft more accessible to both professional craftsmen and DIY enthusiasts. The project also aims to contribute to the preservation of traditional building crafts, in alignment with UNESCO's Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The methodology used in this study was a literature review, where relevant templates were gathered and analyzed. The templates were then categorized using a system developed by the author, which helped simplify the understanding of the templates functions and uses.

This thesis describes the development of a tank insert for diesel cars, from idea to a prototype. The idea is to design an insert which Makes it impossible to refuel petrol in a diesel car. The insert shall be installed in the existing tank opening on diesel cars. The tank insert is designed for the Swedish company SverigeGrepen AB located in Vänge, just outside Uppsala. Their main product is a pitchfork that is ergonomically designed and durable.A pre-study were performed in which information relating to fuel caps, tank openings, petrol- and diesel nozzles were collected.

In several countries that have been early in the development of wind farms, there is today a second hand market for the used wind turbines. The European Union (EU) has established a waste hierarchy in order to minimize throwaway mentality. The second hand market is a part of this as the steps are to minimize, reuse, recycle, extract energy and landfill.In order to promote the development of renewable energy, there are energy certificates for the producers that provide it, wind power being one type of renewable energy. After 15 years the energy certificates for a specific wind turbine are no longer paid, and after that there are several different scenarios for the wind turbine. The scenarios investigated in this bachelor?s thesis are export of the wind turbine to countries that are not as far along as Sweden in their development towards renewable energy, selling in Sweden to individuals, and recycling of the wind turbine, as it mostly consists of metals and therefore is recyclable.

The purpose of this study is to Make a qualitative evaluation of the MTFC-program (Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care) on the basis of six youth´s experiences of the program. The study will investigate what the youth experienced as positive and negative about the program as well as finding out what has helped them or inhibited them from the aim of getting out of their criminal lifestyle. A secondary purpose of this study is to Make the youth´s voices heard in the research world. The research question is: Which factors in the MTFC-program have helped or inhibited the youth towards the aim of getting out of their criminal lifestyle? For this purpose, a qualitative research method has been used where semistructured interviews have been performed on six youth who have gone through the MTFC-program.
