In this composition we will treat issues about intercultural approach and managing diversity in Swedish municipal/public school. This survey includes several theories and conceptions as ethnicity, culture, multiplicity/managing diversity and intercultural approach/multiculturalism.We studied two different schools and their awareness concerning intercultural approach and managing diversity . The study is concentrating on two schools in two different communities. One of the schools had a greater ethnic multiplicity than the other school, and therefore, we thought, it seemed easier for them to accept an intercultural approach and managing diversity. But that was not the whole truth.

The main object for this thesis is to study how students in library and information science at Högskolan i Borås search and valuate documents in the process of writing a paper. The study is based on a series of interviews with 12 students. Our methodology is also based on studies of their final product. The goal of the study was to map out how the students make their decisions during their search process. We studied the students use of search words, relevance judgements and how their need for information changed trough out the writing of their paper.

Bakgrund: I Sverige är hjärtinfarkt den vanligaste dödsorsaken för kvinnor över 55 år. Kvinnor har erfarenheter av diffusa symtom och de väntar med att söka vård. Syfte: Att belysa kvinnors erfarenheter av symtom och ta beslut om att söka vård när de drabbas av hjärtinfarkt. Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie med 14 artiklar inkluderades från databaserna Pubmed, Cinahl och PsykInfo. Samtliga artiklar kvalitetsgranskades enligt granskningsmallar och analyserades med innehållsanalys som utgångspunkt.

Outsourcing är ett aktuellt ämne som flitigt debatteras i media. Vi ville därför öka förståelsen till varför företag väljer outsourcing samt hur motiven rangordnas för olika funktioner. Vi ville även beskriva leverantörernas tolkning av företagets motiv och rangordning. För att uppnå arbetets syfte valde vi att göra en fallstudie av Fritidsresor som utlokaliserat två av dess funktioner som tidigare utförts internt. Fallstudien innefattade två intervjuer på Fritidsresor samt två intervjuer med dess leverantörer av utlokaliserad tjänst.

Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt. Litteratur­sökningarna gjordes i databaserna Medline och Cinahl efter relevanta artiklar. Sökord som användes var relatives, experience, caregivers burden, coping, dementia, nursing home, placement, decision, Sweden, family caregivers. Sexton vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

The Swedish preschool combines both education and care from a holistic point of view. This makes it even harder for both parents and the educators to make an objective evaluation on their own preschool. In Sweden we are proud to have one of the world?s best preschools. It is regulated by the government and is obligated to undertake critical evaluation from the state and the parents that are the consumers of these services.

The use of transrectal ultrasonography of the uterus is a fairly new method for early pregnancy diagnosis. In the present study 40 cows and 10 heifers were examined 16, 19, 22 and 25 days after artificial insemination to decide on what day an accurate pregnancy diagnosis could be made under field conditions. A 5 and 7,5 MHz transducer were used in all examinations in order to determine wheter one of them was better for the present purpose. The animals were also examined for clinical signs of oestrus. The results shows that an accurate pregnancy diagnosis "not pregnant" was easier to make on day 22 than on day 25 since most of the not pregnant cows then were in heat.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka den diskurs som följde i svensk media efter migrationsverkets beslut att ge syriska flyktingar permanent uppehållstillstånd.Metoden som vi har utgått ifrån är kritisk diskursanalys och innehållsanalys. Som data har vi valt ut tolv artiklar och två TV-program.Resultatet visar att media äger den makt som gör att de får avgöra hur ett sådant beslut ska presenteras och diskuteras. Resultatet visar även att media använder idag en annorlunda diskurs jämfört med 1980 och 1990 talet.Media kan med sin makt avgöra vem som ska/inte ska uttrycka sig. En ?Vi? och ?De? skapas av media som skiljer mellan den etablerade och den oetablerade i samhället.

AbstractThe purpose of my essay was through economically, socially and psychologically aspects examine the impact Bethesda Children´s Ministry made on families. Special interest have been taken to how Bethesda is dealing with responsibility and expectations. Also I´ve been interested in which vital change the boy have gone through during the rehabilitation? I´ve got the information from staff, parents and former street boys through interviews done in Kenya.The first result showed that rehabilitation at Bethesda means socialisation of the boy, from the behaviour of the street, to a functional family member. A great change for the boy was stopping using drug and start live in a family.

I dagens informationssamhälle fattas snabba och åtskilliga beslut. Ständiga förändringar äger rum och de företag som har en snabb reaktionsförmåga med medarbetare som tillåts fatta självständiga beslut lyckas konkurrera på marknaden. Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva utvecklingen av medarbetarskap och urskilja vilka effekter som uppkommer för medarbetaren. Med hjälp av teorier från främst Hällsten, Tengblad, Ackerman, Kinlaw och Altén har empirin analyserats och medarbetarkspsutveckling har beskrivits och effekterna har urskiljts. Resultatet blev att medarbetarskapsutveckling inte är generell inom organisationen där medarbetarna arbetar utan skiftar från en avdelning till en annan. Det är således svårt att få några allmängiltiga svar på om hur medarbetarskapsutveckling bör se ut för hela organisationen.

At Forsmark nuclear power plant a new course called "education in everyday safety" has been started in an attempt to improve the safety culture. The goal is to spread the of expectations and approach the maintenance management has set, to all employees working at the plants. During the course, theory is mixed with practical tasks to reach a common view how work should be done to achieve safety for the plant and the people that work there.The practical tasks are done inside "maintenance simulators". They are built inside 20 ft containers which contains two dummy pipe systems. On the pipe systems some valves, a flow meter and a pump has been installed.
