The project was made in cooperation with Coffee Queen AB, Arvika. The task was to develop and design a new cooler for the milk to Jura Impressa X9, an espresso machine. The good assistance with staff at Coffee Queen and engineers in China and at KPA in Karlstad led to a solution to the problem. It was a long road to get there, many different concepts was developed. When the day came to decide which concept to work with, the choice stood between two different technical solutions.

This master thesis was a subtask of a project called EMIR-1. The goal with the thesis was tobuild a system for particulate mass measurements in one of the engine test cells at KTH. Theparticulate mass measurements are planned to be measured with a TEOM.The exhaust gases must first be diluted with air before the sample is sent to the TEOM.Therefore an ejector diluter for this matter also was designed and evaluated in the thesis.Emissions measurements have been done both with and without dilution to determine thedilution ratio. Tests have been done for different speeds and loads.Problems with stability of the dilution ratio have been an issue throughout the process andpressure pulsations in the exhaust pipe are believed to be the cause. More tests have to be done tomake sure that this is the problem.One idea is to make the inner diameter of the diluter nozzle smaller and see if it changes thedilution ratio stability.

Purpose:  The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the major car companies have been affected by the global financial crisis. We would also want to look at how revenues and profits have been affected, and what the consequences have been both within the company and the market in general. It?s also interesting to see how profitability and financial stability has been affected. We had chosen to do a ?before-after? comparison, and we chose to compare the years 2007 and 2009.Boundaries: We have chosen to concentrate on a corporation in the Asian market, more specifically Toyota.

This thesis describes the process of developing a reservation system for common resources through a TV-interface. The system is developed in cooperation with the company Dreampark and is built to work in their platform for TV, Dreamgallery. The main goal was to develop a reservation system and to make it work with Dreamgallery, to develop a demonstration version of the system. The thesis describes the approach for developing an easy-to-use and customisable program and interface for making reservations. How this is inserted into an existing program in a suitable way.

Människan är en sällskaplig varelse. Att samtala är för henne en lika självklar handling som den vid närmare granskning är komplex. Syftet med uppsatsen är att med utgångspunkt imänniskans sällskaplighet analysera ett organisatoriskt samtal.Den övergripande frågeställningen lyder: Hur kan organisatoriska samtal förstås medavseende på den socialt responsiva individen? De teoretiska perspektiven utgörs avsocialpsykologiska teorier vilka tar hänsyn till individens sociala behov. Johan Asplunds teori om den socialt responsiva individen är central.

Lyhördhet och dialog är något som eleverna upplever är viktigt för att ett inflytande ska fungera mellan dem och läraren. Trots att de är unga är viljan stor att bli behandlad som en medmänniska och skapa ett trivsamt klimat. De äldre eleverna känner ett förtroende för sin lärare, de anser att de kan diskutera direkt med denne. Medan de yngre eleverna tar hjälp via sina föräldrar, där de får föra barnets talan. Inflytandet sker mestadels under formella former och då gällande detaljfrågor.

Aim: Many people react negatively when they find out that I work as an estate agent. They believe that estate agents earn more money then they should. What many do not know is how hard we must work and that it doesn´t suit someone who is looking for an 8-17 work. As an estate agent I thought it would be interesting to found out why the estate agents have such a bad reputation.Method: This essay is based on the interviews with estate agents and branch organizations but also on newspaper articles about real estate agents. Theory is collected marketing, where I have concentrate on concepts of branding, positioning, communication and image.Result & Conclusions: The factors, which I found in my investigation, that have an effect to the bad reputation are; media, commission, the customers and the bidding.

By doing this thesis I want to open up farmers and tractor drivers mind to see that there is several risks with their work. There is a number of risks that everybody probably already know about, and hopefully I will, with this work, help them to see a lot more risks, to make them be more careful in the future. I?ve interviewed seventeen farmers in middle and south of Sweden. I?ve also asked them for their opinion and what kind of changes they looking forward to.

När Sverige blev medlem i dåvarande EG 1995 fick det bland annat följden att EU:s fördrag och lagstiftning skulle implementeras och göras gällande i svensk lag. I många fall har detta skett utan större problem men i vissa frågor har det uppstått skiljaktliga meningar om huruvida den svenska lagstiftningen och förvaltningen lever upp till de regler som EU gemensamt fattat beslut om. Denna uppsats tar fasta på detta fenomen, närmare bestämt på hur EU och Sverige under en lång tid inte kunde nå en samsyn om hur den svenska vargstammen skulle förvaltas. Genom att beskriva de förutsättningar som ledde fram till den svenska licensjakten på varg kommer uppsatsen att försöka förklara vilka preferenser den svenska regeringen utgick ifrån när den försvarade sitt beslut att genomdriva licensjakt på varg trots EU-kommissionens protester..

Syftet: var att beskriva sjuksköterskans agerande och vilka faktorer som kan påverka beslutet om att anmäla eller inte vid misstanke om barnmisshandel samt att granska kvaliteten avseende de metodologiska aspekterna urval- och datainsamlingsmetod i studiens ingående artiklar.Metod: Deskriptiv litteraturstudie baserad på femton vetenskapliga artiklar som söktes från databaserna Pubmed och Cinahl.Resultat: Sjuksköterskor känner sig osäkra när tecken/symtom var otydliga och avvaktade för att samla information innan hon eller han bestämde sig för att anmäla. Sjuksköterskor var bekväma i sina observationer när arbetsplatsen stod bakom beslut om att anmäla misstanke om barnmisshandel. Faktorer som visade sig påverka sjuksköterskans beslut om att anmäla var utbildning, kunskap, samarbete, riktlinjer, självförtroende, attityder och inställning.Slutsats: Screening för barnmisshandel, tydliga riktlinjer, mer stöd från kollegor samt utbildning inom området behövs..

Den beteendebaserade finansiella teorin framför vikten av att undersöka människan i desshelhet. Detta är något som de klassiska finansiella teorierna ignorerar då de anser attmänniskor handlar fullständigt rationellt. Då investerare på aktiemarknaden influeras av dess tidigare erfarenheter samt information är det av vikt att undersöka och förstå hur individen agerar på aktiemarknaden inför investeringsbeslut. För att kunna besvara denna fråga har en webbaserad enkätundersökning använts där urvalet består av medlemmar från Sveriges Aktiesparares riksförbund. De resultat som framkommit ur undersökningen tyder på att majoriteten av respondenterna på den svenska aktiemarknaden aktivt undviker att försätta sig i risksituationer där de står inför en förlust eller möjligheten att ångra ett beslut de fattat.

Kliniska beslut i omvårdnad är många och svåra. Många sjuksköterskor känner osäkerhet i sin förmåga att fatta kliniska beslut. De senaste decennierna har vård och omsorgen utvecklats dramatiskt. Samtidigt som denna utveckling skett så har även kraven på vårdpersonal förändrats, större strävan efter kvalitet, ekonomiska besparingar och en strävan efter minskade vårdtider. Detta gör att dagens vårdpersonal måste ha en större förmåga till kritiskt tänkande.

Nowadays, a lot of resources are spent on developing systems that will make it possible forvehicles to act autonomously, and make them more effective. One of the projects that isworking on this is the Gulliver Project. Gulliver has constructed a number of miniaturevehicles equipped with various sensors, to use as a physical testbed for autonomousdriving. One big disadvantage with this method is the long iteration time that occursduring the development and testing of a new software.This project has improved this process by developing a system architecture of a virtualtestbed where it is possible to simulate autonomus vehicles that communicates throughany type of wireless network. The testbed has made it possible to simulate autonomusvehicle systems that with a reasonable margin of error, acts like the system would actin a physical test.

The purpose of this thesis was to create a communication interface which insures that all the right hardware is in its right place in the IS-node before Ericsson AB delivers it to their customers. One of the first parts of this work was to make sure it is possible to create such an interface for IS. This thesis then explains how to construct an interface that retrieves information from the IS-node into a C#-application. One important part of this project was to collect information and transform it to an XML output with the purpose of then being used in other applications in the future. The application created within the scope of the thesis exports the information retrieved from the IS-node in an XML-file or a text-file.

The aim of this study was to give an insight of the construction of girls in their relationships with friends and lovers in the Swedish magazine Julia. The magazine turns to girls of age nine to fourteen. The research questions were 1) What is the construction of the girls in their relationships with friends and lovers about in Julia? 2) How are girls constructed in their relationships with friends and lovers? Three issues of the magazine from the winter of 2014 were selected as material for the study. Critical discourse analysis (Fairclough, 1992, 2010) was the point of departure in the analysis.
